hey y Lads and lass D fight here back again with some more infinite lrange today carrying on with the Destroyers I believe we only have two left uh the ac721 and the wing tar I leave Wing toar last um mostly because I've talked about it so much within recent videos uh and I shown it off a little bit more recently than any of the other destroyers so it feels fair that it'll it'll come last so yeah so far we have done the Aris the guardian the tundra the alra the Taurus series and the quaa um feel free if you jump on my channel go to videos go to the search bar you can search these all up if you are missing uh one of these videos uh the the are the last uploaded videos as well so uh they should still be there uh obviously uh By the time this comes out these are mostly all released uh and for members they release you know a little bit early they get Like An Early Access thing if I manage to bulk record and that kind of stuff so onto the AC uh ac721 heavy Logistics Destroyer so this is a interesting and a bit of an odd ship in the fact that all its variants have an actual use use but it's kind of there are better options in all but maybe two uh so you you you do still see them about they're also one of the free ships that are given to you which is actually really nice I believe you get the generic type and the aircraft type free uh the missile type you have to find if I remember rightly uh but yeah so the ac72 heavy Logistics this is the generic type you will genuinely not see this in fleets and the reason for it is it's just terrible is it it's not got good DPM for 8cp as well it's quite expensive to to run uh for that 8cp however the storage system on here you know you get a nice base 6K storage and that could be further upgraded uh quite a bit uh if I just Chuck them in I haven't had to use them this server uh to 13,200 and that's basically all the upgrades you actually need to do on this and then you put them into your mining fleets and it'll allow your mining fleets to mine for longer before having to return to base and that actually increases your overall output and that is genuinely the only use you'll find out of the heavy Logistics Destroyer uh so you can probably just skip to the next part where I'll start talking about the missile type uh um but if you are very very new to the game and ac721 is one of the only Destroyers you have in a very very small pinch they can be used in combat but I'd highly recommend even going to um one of the cities and purchasing some ships off them rager Torpedoes are really nice uh as an example of that the borus missile crew uh Destroyer also just like a flat out better option this thing fully upgraded uh doesn't actually do as much as the pirate ships with basically no CP in them um so bear that one in mind uh you generally do only use this for mining but in a pinch uh you can sort of um use it to maybe deal some damage it's a midrise ship if I remember rightly uh so you can go into the armor system double HP there come back do the uh armor later uh and then in its primary system double hit rate against frigs destroyers double cool down you have what six six slots so yeah it's got lock and efficiency such useless it's a pretty self-explanatory double hit rate double cool down double damage is what you want to go for which um is a bit awkward cuz only four damage per hit double damage is only going to net you eight extra damage so it's not particularly great uh but you know there you go the lock on efficiency is not really going to do anything here it's AA capabilities are pretty pretty awful to say the least so I wouldn't really ever sort of drop a damage for the lock on efficiency there it's not going to give you anything uh unfortunately command system shortens the weapon uh cool Downs of ac721 destroys and Fleet by 10% in the first two rounds of attack it has to have at least three ac7 21s you can run 15 in title you'd like to think that this would actually make it quite good and viable but if you can see fully upgraded you get 20% cool down and in the first two rounds of attacks and it it just means you do am measly amount of damage a little bit quicker for the first two rounds of the battle which just kind of makes it completely an abolutely redundant in my opinion um so yeah this is why I just don't recommend ever really upgrading the ac721 bar the use in uh mining fleets uh but if you're going to use it I I guess the command system might help you I genuinely the weapon system is just going to be better grab your last physical resistance in here and move over to the proportion system where I would probably go double warp speed single cruising speed here um if you are running the uh the fit for uh mining where you got the ship capacity increased on it uh do run the double warp speed and the cruising speed because warp speed is calculated on average now so actually increasing this thing's warp speed helps your mining fleets get back and forward a little bit quicker it's not much but you know it all adds up when you're mining for several weeks on a server um that being said you do sort of drop the ac72 ons out of mining fleets uh once you hit uh large uh utility ships so these you use between small and medium are great and medium uh mining fleets and later on you you will just drop them unfortunately so yeah the base ac721 it's not useless it's useful within the mining Fleet to you know increase your mining yields per hour other than that uh generally just don't use it for combat the missile type on the other hand is actually pretty good for combat which is uh which is quite nice again you have a storage system here in a pinch uh you can upgrade this to get a little bit extra storage out of it and put it in mining fleets as well but the generic type does just flat out do that better again it's a mid row ship so going into double HP will be your first bet and then your physical resistance come back a little bit later on and you can deal with that later the Weapons Systems are nicely split on this one which I quite like because that means you know you don't have to like pick and chew sometimes on weapon systems uh the fg300 has that sort of problem as well uh but you got a small weapon system and small missile system and the missile uh anti-aircraft system which is a little bit unfortunate is on the same uh ship so if you do want to specialize it into more AA uh you can't really so that being said it doesn't actually have anything except high explosive Warheads to really deal uh with enemies that are flying about in well I guess all ships are flying about but um the you know they're not the um the Corvettes and Fighters first off go double hit rate the hit rate the base one is definitely the first one to go for cuz like I said it's a dual system so you've got you know missiles that are anti- ship and missiles that are anti or anti-aircraft so pick up the base hit rate is actually going to help you out on both fronts there coming over and picking up the hit rate against frigs destroyers will definitely help you here and then double cool down is quite nice rapid fire reduce the primary firing duration cool down by 80% every 60 seconds for 15 seconds with a cool down of 10 seconds is actually not very good and when I picked this strategy I found it genuinely didn't actually increase my damage uh enough to Warrant the tech points that I put into it so I would ignore for this and you have only got six slots to play with and you need double crit double cool down which means the last two slots I recommend is one damage and one high explosive Warhead which increases your chance to deal crit damage when attacking EarthCraft and it does okay it's a average ship against aircraft sort of B tier uh and yeah it it's completely perfectly fine the 5% damage increase isn't going to do much here you only have 100 damage per hit and on the missiles only 35 damage per hit so you really don't get all that much um from them at all it's like 1.25 damage per hit for the for that and five damage per hit for your missile system which you know it's a bit awkward uh but it it's fine it's completely fine uh like I said though if left unchecked these things you know they Chuck out enough missiles uh especially with all the upgrades uh you know you got 4 second lock on times 8C cool down reduced cool down when you pick up two cooldown upgrades you get four missiles out every round with an 8C duration it's it's beyond reasonable for you know quite a efficient ship you can build 15 of them as well so you can actually spam them out quite nicely so yeah it's it's a good little ship after that going into its AA system is up to you to be honest uh you can ignore this it's the missiles that actually deal the AA damage on this thing um but you can come into here you can pick up antier craft support to start that off going into double hit rate oh no not double hit rate against frigs destroyers you never want that double cool down how many slots does this have I said I've not run this one in a while cuz there are better ships F than the uh the witer s being one of them uh two six so yeah you'd probably pick up the support the strategy double cool down double damage and the lock on efficiency here the hit against frigs destroyers you just don't want to have a pick up you only have 30 damage per hit uh most of those you know frig destroyers are hitting 20 28 armor which means you're only ever going to be doing like three damage to them yes I just said three not to even though it says 28 damage uh damage mitigation but there is a 10% minimum damage output um that you can do so they can't flat out do zero damage to you uh basically the dev put that in a while ago so that's how I sort of set it up coming back hitting the armor uh grabbing your physical resistance now and then into the propulsion system there is no evasion or anything here I go double warp speed cruising speed but feel free to go double cruising speed warp speed um so the missile type fits in any and all uh Fleet designs from early to mid game you know frig destroy only fleets to uh swarm fleets a little bit later on it can provide some aerial coverage with its missile systems actually not too bad um so yeah it's completely reasonable and it's an all right ship at 8p uh there are better versions of it the wing Des are base very in is basically the same thing uh a little bit less AA there though but more damage output um it's also mid row and you know it's it's fine there is nothing wrong with the ac721 missile destroyer it's just not the the cream of the crop the anti-aircraft type A lot of people sat there on my guardian video saying no it's better to put them on the Corvette maintenance system cuz you know the Corvette maintenance system has more cool down it has one I'm pretty certain the guardian has one as well so it doesn't have more cool down there's no inbuilt cool down or anything on the Corvette maintenance system so that was a lot of rubbish wasn't it now it in essence is a worst Guardian um more or less in every way although you can run 15 of these early game swarm uh where you first get aircrafts at base level four um you do see a lot a lot of people run 10 Guardian 15 ac721 and they just Spam out their Corvettes and uh it's it works for certain uh personally I prefer double relats Harris Taurus and go a little bit more uh direct damage focus with wing toar in there to just counter this style of play um but if you're newer to the game maybe you don't have anything or any of those unlocked but you still have aircraft and stuff is a good way of getting extra damage output onto the field um I would go armor system here I believe it does get moved to the back row but picking up double ship HP uh will actually just keep it alive a little bit longer in the time that you're sort of getting these out you are looking at a lot of missile Ships coming your way uh Wing toar ac721 missile types uh just to name a couple uh and then you got Corvettes coming out as well probably when you want to try and get this out so Guardians AC 721s of enemy players which does mean your back row becomes not quite as um irrefutable as it used to be uh where you know it could just sit there and just never take a hit cuz your front row and mid rows are tanking for it but now you're in a position where the back rows can get targeted uh so picking up the armor system the the HP will keep them alive a little bit longer and trust me losing a ship with two aircraft on it is really really bad uh if your DPS M output for the overall Fleet after that go into the Corvette maintenance system uh it's a bit annoying that it only carries two Corvette yet has three docks oh no it's not a dock this used to be a dock I swear so it's got an aviation Bridge down there now fair enough I swear these used to have three docks in it or am I mixing up with the guardian the guardian might have three Docks but only carries two so in general um rtb is absolutely fantastic I quite like grabbing hit rate here as well um and then taking the target lock on speed depending what I put on it here if you want early early game and you want want to get those t800s out early Target lock on speed on t800s is absolutely fantastic highly recommend uh grabbing that damage of uh aircraft doesn't matter too much unless you run cellular defender on these and in that point you want the damage um not the lock on speed so generally speaking depending what you're going to put on here is CD the cool down reduction the hit rate and then you're mixing and matching the target lock on speed and the Damage depending on the aircraft you put on it high alpha damage Levy sell your Defender put the damage mod on it sort of um anti-aircraft Corvettes and that thing uh MC 0011 or whatever that thing is bloody called or t 800 grab the target lock on speed and for your fourth slot pick up the uh reduced chance of being hit rate hit by guided weapons that affects the ac721 itself and will help keep it around a little bit again you're back row ship you're going to get missiles coming your way reducing them CH their chance of being uh hitting you is just going to flat out do well for you after that you have the same system as the previous uh so you go anti-aircraft support double cool down and lock on efficiency uh yeah uh you have one slot free on this one actually so you get an extra damage but again you don't have too much in the way of damage here and for some reason you have like a cannon system that you know shoots at ships and then two cannons that shoot uh um aircraft so it it's not really going to do much either way there it's it's not really meant for you know dealing direct damage it's all about that Corvette maintenance system again you have storage like the missiles it's the same amount if you desperately want to put more storage on your mid uh mid game mining Fleet you have that option but again the generic does do it better and then the propulsion system um you actually do get a vase of Maneuvers here but only triggers one per battle so I do leave it till the end and I'll pick it up now uh again you have four slots here so you can go double warp and a cruising speed as well um the reason I don't pick up a vas of Maneuvers sooner is generally speaking it's going to be dead regardless either way and the HP just gets it to stick around a bit longer where this thing is it's not it's evasion by 40% but it has no evasion anyway so it it doesn't really do all that much in uh this situation which is a little bit unfortunate that is the ac721 it's a pretty middle of the road in all aspects which is completely fine you need ships like that to be honest with you and you do get two of them for free so they you know they can be run quite you know early on without any problem generic type put in your mining fleets aircraft type in the early swarm Fleet missile type in any Fleet uh as a pseudo anti-air cuz it can do some reasonable anti-air but generally speaking it will do things like penos apart really really nicely uh the missile type so yeah it's completely you know a very usable ship uh which is actually quite nice so thank you guys for watching don't forget to like comment and subscribe
