India's One Man Band: A Masterclass on Instruments | Gladson Peter | TEDxHRCollege

I have a dream my dream was to play many instruments I'm 25 years old and I can play about 50 of them my name is gladsome Peter and I'm best known as India's one-man band my favourite instrument by far is the ukulele it hails from Portugal and gained its popularity in Hawaii I came across this instrument while watching a youtube video of mr. Jake Shimabukuro as he played his version of while my guitar gently weeps by George Harrison and I fell in love with this instrument ever since I've been making new tunes on this beautiful instrument the ukulele is considered as a baby guitar and it's given to kids most often but I truly believe that it has magic and it has great power to capture your heart so here is my version of a song called I won't give up by Jason Roth [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] another of my favorite instruments is a mouth organ it has its history from China it originally used bamboo reeds to produce a sound from it but as days passed by it evolved into what it is right now it is truly one of the most beautiful sounding instruments and I'm gonna play another tune called lost stars by Adam Levine [Music] [Applause] that's how I started playing multiple musical instruments together simultaneously it was around this time that I faced a possibility of not being able to play any will wind instruments such as these but I fought over my medical condition and won it over with Will and Grace I was very determined that I did not want to live a normal life and I wanted to do something absolutely extraordinary now playing multiple instruments was one thing and playing them all together this way was the next so if we fuse a band of six members together into one body probably this is what it should sound like [Music] it's my last song it's called marry you by Bruno Mars so you can join along [Music] [Music] something Hey No Oh shots on patrol Oh don't it's been fun something [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause]
