The Magic 6 Pro has just been launched. After showcasing the Magic 6 Lite which I recently presented to you we now have the highly anticipated Magic 6 Pro. Following the debut of the Magic V2 recognized as the thinnest foldable smartphone globally. I don't know if you recall but last year I absolutely adored the Magic 5 Pro considering it one of the highlights of 2023. As of the recording of this video the Magic 6 Pro has not yet hit the market. I'll show it to you right away. As you might guess it's just been released. I love this smartphone; it's full of exciting promises. It's super intriguing starting with its design inspired by the world of luxury. With a jewelry-like aspect at the center of a rounded square. The camera section is going to stand out a lot. With a triple camera sensor and a new periscopic zoom. I'll show it to you in a moment it's really interesting. The material on the back is vegan leather. Vegan leather as you've understood is just a term. It's not actually leather. There are two colors available. The color I have here is Epic Green. Honor tells us they were inspired by the embossed prints of luxury leather goods. I must admit it's quite effective. But there's also a matte black model on a glass slab. The Magic 6 Pro is naturally the evolution of the Magic 5 Pro we saw last year. With numerous enhancements and notably essential new features the Magic 6 Pro has overhauled its camera system from the Magic 5 Pro. Introducing Falcon Capture 2. 0 it facilitates swift photo capture at a rate of up to 30 photos per second. As an illustration I've positioned my phone in front of the MONSIEUR GRRR logo initiated the process by pressing and holding the button and it's swiftly capturing multiple shots in succession. 92 photos. View the clear images taken. The battery size has increased too. Last year the Magic 5 Pro had a 5100 mAh battery but this year it's upgraded to 5600 mAh. We've got a 9. 8% increase in capacity. But what's really changed is the battery technology. Today we have a silicon-carbon battery. It's the same battery found in the Honor Magic V2. It's an extremely thin battery as thin as a credit card which saves space inside the smartphone. We have an 80W wired charging compared to 66W wired charging last year. Last year we had 50W wireless charging. This year it's up to 66W. But the real game-changer in battery technology is that this time we have an energy management chip that we didn't have last year. That means the smartphone will implement a charging strategy to optimize its battery charging. We also have a charging algorithm for low temperatures as well as improved energy management. So we have three elements combined that will totally optimize your smartphone's battery life. With the second-generation carbon silicon battery plus the Honor Power Enhanced E1 chip and of course energy management from a software perspective... We can see that the battery life has been reworked here which is a very good point. Now there's an element that's of great interest to us and that's everything related to the smartphone's screen. Because yes we use our smartphones obviously to watch content movies series to play games. And for that we need a quality screen both indoors and outdoors... The first thing we notice is the Always-On Display on the full screen. Your smartphone will always display content on the full screen. This helps to save a bit more battery. And since I can recharge it very quickly it's not an issue. You can unlock it either with the fingerprint sensor or by facial recognition... Up top near the selfie camera there's three-dimensional recognition allowing you to unlock your smartphone very quickly and in a completely secure way. But what's truly incredible this year is the brightness on the Magic 6 Pro. It's an extremely bright screen. If I turn the brightness all the way up you won't be able to see anything at all. Honor is announcing a brightness range from 2 to 1600 nits with a peak brightness of 5000 nits always pushing the envelope. Obviously your smartphone won't constantly be at 5000 nits but when you're outside and there's a lot of light it will ensure that you can always see what's on your phone. Another important feature is the NANO CRYSTAL SHIELD glass which is ten times more resistant than traditional glass. Honor is telling us that it can withstand a drop from 5 feet 3 inches. A while back I introduced you to the Honor Magic 6 Lite which has such a durable screen that you could hammer nails with it. That's not the purpose don't try this at home. Similarly don't go throwing your smartphone from a height of 5 feet 3 inches. But what Honor is trying to say here is that they've really worked on the technology of their screens to bring a lot of durability to the panel. The Honor Magic 6 Pro features a 6. 8-inch diagonal AMOLED screen a refresh rate that starts at 1 Hz and goes up to 120 Hz providing a lot of smoothness when you navigate like this a billion colors and a resolution of 1. 5K that is 2800 by 1280 pixels. Here we have two certifications Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid. There are also numerous certifications designed to take care of your eyes. We already have the Full Care Display 3. 0 certification by TÜV Rheinland which guarantees eye protection and also certifies the quality of the screen. Additionally there's dynamic PWM dimming. The reduced screen flicker enhances eye comfort. Achieving TÜV Rheinland certification for flicker-free performance mitigating the risk level during dimming. This means that when you lower the brightness on your smartphone you won't experience any flickering invisible to the naked eye that can still cause visual fatigue. And... the Honor Magic 6 Pro really takes care of your eyes. It also features dynamic dimming. It intelligently adjusts the screen brightness to reduce eye strain and improve eye health. But we also have the circadian night display which is a super important feature that automatically adjusts the screen's color temperature according to your body's natural rhythm. To help prepare for a better night's sleep. When this feature is turned on the screen color becomes warmer. And that's really something I absolutely love. Then you can go straight to eye comfort. You can either schedule it or keep it on all the time. And then you choose the level of the filter. I recommend not setting it too high. But if you adjust it just a little bit like that it will be much better for your eyes. Thanks to the Honor Magic 6 Pro you can watch movies series play games and entertain yourself without any issues as it preserves the health of your eyes and your sleep cycle. And when you go outside to the beach for example in the summer you can also view content without any problems because the brightness is really very good. So I was talking about playing games just now and what's very important when you want to play games is to have performance. And here too the Honor Magic 6 Pro packs a lot of performance... It features the latest Qualcomm chip the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which is extremely powerful. It's obviously a 5G chip. On top of that you have 12GB of RAM. But this isn't just any RAM technology. It's the best currently available on the market namely LPDDR5X. And in addition you have RAM TURBO technology a software technology that gives you an extra 8GB of RAM. What happens here is that it taps into your storage since you have 512 gigabytes of storage it uses this to provide you with virtual RAM. Also worth noting is that in terms of storage the technology is UFS 4. 0 which is extremely efficient and also contributes to battery life. As I've told you several times before a smartphone's battery life isn't just about the large capacity of its battery here 5600 mAh. Of course there's also this energy management chip. But what's of interest to us here is that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is very very good at energy management. The RAM technology LPDDR5X will also bring benefits in terms of energy management not to mention the storage technology UFS 4. 0. Another key element that HONOR has brought to the table here is a dedicated security chip. If you're a gamer you'll have no issues playing on this smartphone which features an enhanced cooling chamber. There's also a lot of integrated AI in the Magic 6 Pro. On the software side HONOR has done a great job with Magic... OS 8. 0 based on Android 14 packed with extremely interesting features. One technology that catches my interest is the AI Privacy Call technology which isn't new but remains very effective. It minimizes sound leakage during your phone calls to protect your privacy. The big innovation this year is found in the Magic Capsule. I'm going to set a timer for two minutes. When I exit the app my content is displayed at the top. It's always in view which is quite handy. It's going to work with the timer the alarm the recorder the calls the screen sharing. You'll find the Magic Capsule in many different uses and it's super interesting. What we're going to focus on right now is the camera and they've also done an absolutely incredible job there. In the camera department we'll see the Falcon Capture 2. 0 system I mentioned earlier which in addition to being fast is really extremely effective. But one of the very strong points here that we'll find on the Magic 6 Pro in terms of photography is the Honor Eye Motion Sensing Capture 2. 0. It's going to trigger the photos at just the right moment. You just come here and activate this option—it's the motion detection capture that kicks in... I'm on a skateboard and here we're snapping some photos while I'm moving. You see here I'm on a slightly inclined turn. Same here as I get closer it's sharp. Here I go I lean in everything stays crisp. I'm rolling along but it doesn't look like I'm moving. What really blows my mind is the detail on the wheels. It's as if I'm standing still; you can clearly see all the grooves on the wheels. Yet you have to realize that here the wheel is spinning because I'm moving. We took another example; I position myself on a bollard ready to jump. And the moment Leonard triggers it I come in like this and we capture the moment. There were several different poses but it really works well. Since I can take a good photo while I'm running you can imagine someone dancing doing sports I thought we could do it while moving too. So I got into a taxi and took pictures as the taxi was driving. Look here you really have to picture that I'm rolling along that the taxi is moving. The same here and here and here too. You just see little raindrops those are the drops on the taxi's window because of course it was raining in Paris that day. But you have so many! I'm truly impressed. And I thought since I can do it in a taxi while driving through Paris couldn't I do it on a train that's obviously going to go much faster? Here I am on the move and he managed to capture the house. You can clearly see the train's reflections the lights inside the train. You can sort of make out the seats on the side. Here you can see the smartphone. Look at the house it captured. Similarly upon arriving here not far from the Clermont-Ferrand train station... It took a ton of photos and all of them turned out really well. We were still moving at a very high speed. As you can see there are three sensors on the back. We'll start off with a main sensor of 50 megapixels. That's the Super Dynamic Falcon... H9000 camera which here will mainly feature a variable aperture for night photography. You'll go from f1. 4 up to f2. 0 which... here of course will be fully optically stabilized. That's the first sensor. I love the atmospheres we capture here. Let's stroll through Paris at night. I adore the neon lights. This Parisian bistro vibe is gentle and beautiful. The lighting is well managed here. The ultra-wide angle will inevitably be less good. But should you take photos with an ultra-wide angle at night? I'm not convinced. You can zoom in. The quality is really preserved. At... 2. 5x 5x and up to 10x. At 2. 5x and 5x it's fine. 10x is a bit much but still decent... Around Cirque d'Hiver the Ultra Wide Angle 2x 2. 5x 5x 10x. Take a stroll in Paris. I've captured various photos for you to enjoy the Parisian night-time vibe. I love this photo; it's so pretty. The color is well managed and you can see the rain starting. It's truly beautiful. The facades are lovely and well-preserved. It's really nice. The Ultra Wide Angle will inevitably be less good. You can zoom in that's also very good—at 2. 5x. You can clearly see the details underneath; it's very nice. You can zoom in more. Should you? Not necessarily. Photo taken with the main sensor at night. It's also very pretty the skin tones are really good very soft. Great detail in the hair. The background is also very well managed. Here as well. I love these atmospheres that you can find here with the cars at night. Republic Square in Paris. Ultra wide-angle we'll just forget about that. We can zoom in a bit more get closer into the picture. Here I am at 2. 5x zoom. I can see the rain falling. There's this slightly bluish and red ambiance. These different lights I find them really beautiful. I got you some stickers too I think it's quite funny. The rain on the street lamp. The light is well managed... This whole rainy night atmosphere in Paris. The selfie camera of course remains decent at night. Another photo at Place de la République. Look at the ultra-wide angle we forget we can get closer. The statue at the center of Place de la République and you can zoom in up to 10x. We'll have a second sensor the 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle with a 122-degree field of view that also allows for macro shots at just an inch away. The result is decent since we're on the 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle... What's interesting is that you can zoom in... 2x on your macro photo. This allows us to capture a bit more detail. That one's pretty good I like the colors. And you can zoom in and retrieve even more details see around the pistil. Here I appreciate finding a bit of the plant's hairiness. And by zooming into the image we see it even more. But above all what's truly impressive is the 180-megapixel periscopic zoom. It features a 2. 5x optical zoom and can go up to a 100x digital zoom. But it also has both optical stabilization and electronic stabilization... The more traditional photography is also extremely effective. We're on the main lens now. Switching to ultra-wide angle. And then we'll zoom in—2. 5x 5x 10x 50x. Quality drops off up to 100x. We continue exploring Clermont-Ferrand spotting the cathedral. Ultra Wide Angle reduces sharpness slightly but quality remains high. At 2. 5x it's highly effective. At 5x once again it's super effective. You have a huge 180-megapixel sensor. You can zoom into the sensor without losing quality... 10x which is also very good... We start to see some details where the quality will be a little less good but it's still really acceptable. 50x... and 100x it's a bit too far and the result isn't extraordinary. Commencing anew starting at 1x then moving to ultra-wide 2. 5x 5x 10x 50x and... 100x. The face remains discernible consistently impressive. We scrutinized the backlighting utilizing HDR with the sun prominently featured. Noteworthy are the detailed building facades and graffiti. Let's delve deeper into the graffiti by zooming in. The ultra-wide perspective enhanced by HDR maintains its quality as we zoom further... 2. 5x 5x 10x 50x and 100x. The portrait mode is also very effective. I'm very well cut out. We can come in closer. We avoid getting too close... At the top of my head it struggles a bit more. That's the limit. The outcome is very good. Not to mention a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Plus a TOF sensor Time of Flight which will be used for 3D facial recognition... The photos taken with the selfie camera are also very good. You see regarding the hue of my face on the side it's very well captured. When taking selfies you have two options: either at 1x or at 0. 8x zoom. In both cases it works well. And with backlighting the result is also very good thanks to HDR. And this large sensor you'll find the main sensor is a customized 1/1. 3-inch Honor CMOS. It's a very large sensor with a high dynamic range and allows for pixel sizes... of 2. 24 micrometers when Pixel Binning technology is activated... The Honor Magic 6 Pro is also a very versatile smartphone with plenty of different modes. Portrait mode night shot mode and aperture mode as well. There's video mode. You can record here up to 4K at 60 frames per second. Look in broad daylight with the sun backlighting like this I'm taking you on a little tour around the beautiful city of Clermont-Ferrand. I can zoom in get closer 2x 2. 6x and the max I have here is 10x. And of course I can switch to the ultra-wide angle too and stroll around. You see the stabilization is really quite impressive... on the selfie camera 1x 0. 8x with the little backlight there the HDR is beautiful it works well. So here I can shoot in super night mode in super night I'm limited to... 4K at 24 frames per second I won't get 30 frames per second but it's truly a mode dedicated especially to night video. There are also other options available like film pro. Not to mention a new mode which is the light painting mode. Which will allow you to create light trails light graffiti silky water or even stardust. That's really great for the creatives. I was talking about the screen durability a moment ago but another durability that interests us and is very important here is the water and dust resistance. Because yes the Honor Magic 6 Pro is IP68 certified. So it's water and dust resistant. If it rains if it falls into water you won't have any problems at all. The Honor Magic 6 Pro is a highly versatile very durable smartphone that you can order for 1299. 90 euros. There's a very attractive launch offer from February 25th to March 26th. Honor is giving away their new tablet the Honor Pad 9 valued at 399. 90 euros. With the code displayed on the screen enjoy an additional discount of 130 euros until March 26th.
