promise because we have a motion to quash we have a motion to quash and the judge said get the get the consent and she reschedule um get the what yeah that's the consensus from your bonds get the consent exactly yeah you're not getting a consent from your bond right and she reset the matter until um from a week from today i have the court date written down it's it's october october i can look on my phone it's october 10th do you have paper do i have papers what's on your phone um so okay okay is this okay yeah okay so um court october 1st 2 30 p.m we're not trying to jam court papers can i show you do you have anything to give you anything today no because i appeared by video hey yeah we're standing here with was that brother she said that she appeared in court this morning can you verify real quick that her warrant is open they said that they wanted a consent but she didn't have one she never thought once you call me or anything sorry you didn't think to call your bondsman ever no um i so yeah no i i didn't think too i'm sorry i'll talk to her too because if she's getting on top of her stuff and she went to court this morning that's what matters right is that she's trying to take care of it and she's trying to get on top of her stuff so that's what uh exactly what i say in the motion she didn't have an attorney at the last quarter you're an attorney right yeah it's correct yeah she was just like bedazzled with a that's not the right word befuddled you know depressed yeah and she didn't get to that court date i explained that to the judge in the motion to clash and um give me a second here so i can do what i need to do to show you she can't be doing drugs while she's on bond either i don't i don't see anything that shows that at all and normally the clerks will call me for a consent and nobody calls me mm-hmm before before we put any handcuffs on please call the jail i will all right now call me right back what the [ __ ] are you doing with this with no that's it's not mine it's it's his i i swear that that's his pillow this is my pillow who's this is whose pillow that's his pillow james i was i was sitting over here when you guys came in the matters continued for dyspo bound on 10 120. so by next uh thursday hopefully you know if danielle will work with us um you know she'll be back in court and we'll get the warrant quashed and we'll continue on with the case okay right now the one's still open i know i know that's because he couldn't quantify yeah the warrant's not quashed that's what that was he was just saying he was looking at the minutes and basically they weren't going to quash it because she doesn't have that consent to surety right she's not getting one okay so they reset the matter to give me time to give yeah please can i can i wait till i see the judge again they reset the matter i have another court date i'm at the mercy of whatever the bondsman tells me to do also what's this about i i just said that wasn't mine i was sitting over here when you guys came in i'm not a cop i'm not gonna charge you a [ __ ] i'm just saying what is it um what are you addicted to it looks like a pipe well i know what i know what it looks like what are you addicted to i don't i'm not gonna judge you i'm not gonna tell the [ __ ] no one's gonna charge you with anything right right i i'm not it's not mine what are you addicted to addicted to anything okay what are you taking um i've been taking suboxone okay what are you trying to get off of i i've been i've been maintaining from uh heroin from heroin can that not go on my desk well i'd like to see who's over there like to see you crush it i mean it's in your room it's not but it's not let's not pretend like it's not yours but it's not it doesn't matter it's not gonna jam you up i know you're nervous and and all that stuff but it's not gonna jam you up we're not looking to jam you up anymore i'm trying to comply as much as i can and i just i do not want to go to jail today i will do anything it takes i've been trying to comply with the courts i think i think i appeared to court this morning if you had i will pay the money it's not about money but it's about the way it's it's about your accountability to the bondsman right so the bondsman has been have we've been having a hard time finding you and getting a hold of you and so that is the big issue is that why we're gonna let you be on bond because now danielle's gonna have to come out of pocket if you don't show up i just bought i just bought a new phone today i bought this today i have the receipt i bought it today you may have to go to jail for the night it's been i've been unreachable please i i will be reachable i swear you can have this number i just bought the phone today i just bought the phone today what is she's on hold with the deal right now danielle yeah if we can work with you we will i would love to work with you we'll just hold that for a second as soon as daniel gets through what what are ways that we can work together i don't know i have to wait to hear from danielle they're getting on the phone with her right now and we're gonna try to see if there's anything we can do at worst case though if you do end up going to jail it's not going to add a new charge you're not going to get jammed up anymore and you may have to sit down there for a couple hours until you get bonded back out on a pr yeah she's not gonna get a no bond or anything she already has a bond it's three thousand okay so she could it's not so it just doubled right she could bond right back up i'm just very i've been so confused about the whole process um i i didn't have anywhere to stay until recently um i understand well i said we're not trying to we're not trying to set you back we're just trying to do our job i just i have a really strong like i don't want to use the story of a word but like i like it like a ptsd to jail i just i i understand i i the confinement and the fear of the covid and all of that i just i really don't want to go there tonight i will do anything to comply anything to complain that's what we're trying to figure out if we didn't want to work with you we would already dragged you out and throw it in the car which we try to help people the best that we can but you also get to help yourself by keeping in contact with your bondsman and doing the right thing to begin with right so if you screwed up you screwed up it's not the end of the world [Music] i was confused about that i thought it was just how long were you addicted for um oh a long time you're doing you're doing it for years months yeah years years it's tough to get off of it we've come here multiple times looking for you you know so that's just that's just where we'll see what we can do to help you out you're supposed to be going to treatment and things like that is that what the compliance is iop uh yeah outpatient treatment yeah how's that going for you it's going is it working at all um i mean yeah yeah my life is considerably better i'm staying out of the city i have no contact with that group of friends that i was rolling with i have my hygiene going i'm just sitting here watching a movie not you know yeah when's the last time you used um well like i said you're not going to get any charges nothing like that obviously today yeah but you know it's something i struggle with daily um but it's nasty [ __ ] it's gross it's not easy to get off of i'm sure when you don't i'm sure when you don't use you get all sorts of sick right um right remember every time you go buy it you're putting yourself at risk for just to restart this entire process right i don't want to i don't want to i'm happy to get rid of that what's worse just to get sick sometimes you know just to deal with getting sick and getting over it how long does it take before you get sick uh 24 to 36 hours maybe as little as 16. depending on how much you're doing yeah yeah what's up because daniel's tried reaching out like 60 times with no way of communication danielle doesn't be comfortable at all she would not do it where's trevor what are we doing daniel's on hold with the sergeant right now from broomfield she's just double checking you know she has you know she has no uh she's only gotten two charges in her whole life apparently it's just possession no theft no violence just possession the the problem for danielle is that she's reached out to her probably 60 times tried to reach out to her through mutual contacts no communication nothing the whole way what changed now that she's going to court what do you mean i mean she's going to be trying to change right if she went to video court this morning yeah that shows i don't i don't disagree that you know with james's guidance she's probably trying to our big thing is i thought you when you came to the door you were gonna tell us to piss off again and play and play bully and that's not the case and so like that's what kind of is changing my opinion about the whole situation you know what i mean because like if people don't want to help themselves and work work with us and doesn't make our job a living hell you know those are types of people we like to help right exactly i think that's why the judge certainly led us to believe that she would cautious if we were able to get a consensus you think it'll get quash what you think it'll continue without our finances they're going to crash the warrant yeah they're going to cross the wall yeah well they just dismissed her previous possession case they have yeah they've been possessions they've been low amounts you know yeah um this is a df4 so it's not yeah no this one was more you're right but denver was literally 0.1 gram that's literally what you got busted for so what is she on the hook for 1500 bucks yeah um it's up to you completely i know it's been a shitty situation up to this point danielle however but the the the reason my emotion is kind of changed on this one is because we go to the door the lawyer dude is like totally cool like not even a a pinch of nothing it just like lets us right in right up to her she went to court this morning and she's only ever got possession charges she's got no theft no violence no nothing so she's [ __ ] up you know she's scared and what and whatever but like sending her back to jail what is that going to do to her is that going to help her is that going to set her back like and i and and to remove your liability we need to get her what that we need to get her that consent reset the clock let's throw her on her throw her on an ankle monitor so my only concern is that she's not once tried to contact me and resolve any of this even today after she was told to call me to get it consent she never did but what if she not calm she's scared out of her mind probably what if we just show her a little bit of love and a little bit of okay i mean that's fine if she's willing to pay that money whatever you know the attorney is on board with making sure she's in court and stuff i'm i'm good with that okay all right we'll figure something out i'll call you back okay bye huh what's the call my call is not to take her to jail and so that's what i'm convincing dan daniel danielle of is like danielle's big thing was she didn't try to reach out it was a pain in the ass to get to this point but my thing is you answered the door this time you let us in it wasn't a big deal this time right she went to court this morning she's only got possession i i don't consider addicts criminals i think it's more of a this disease than anything and so i think in this situation she brianna will benefit more from showing her a little bit of love and compassion than trying you know doing something that knocks her down and like continues her ptsd and puts her in jail and all that [ __ ] and she doesn't have an income right now so i think we pro bono i pro bono ankle monitor for her i sponsor an ankle monitor for her she doesn't have a way to pay it so let's not pretend like she's going to pay everybody wants to take you to jail including danielle i said no okay so you're gonna crush that pipe correct yes correct i'm gonna sponsor an ankle monitor for you okay because i know you can't pay it and we're not going to sit here and pretend like you're going to sign up and pay 300 bucks a month so i'm going to sponsor that for you which means it comes out of my pocket but am i going in handcuffs somewhere no tonight you're going outside to crush this pipe correct and then i'm okay and i do the ankle monitor with you and i'm okay yeah and i stay here and i'm okay yeah okay great great great we're gonna meet up tomorrow okay and we're gonna put that ankle monitor on you yeah you don't have a way to get around do you no i'm gonna bring it here great i'll be here promise i promise i promise i promise i am the only person keeping you out of jail right now you
