I WASTED $200 On Soulja Boy's NEW "Soulja Pad" 😂

now for those of you guys new to this channel I'm gonna give you a little bit of context regarding Soulja Boy and myself in the past I purchased basically every product Soulja Boy's dropped in the last month or so I've purchased the Soulja game console the Soulja game retro mini the Soulja game handheld the Soulja phone the Soulja pods the Soulja headphones and the soldier watch and now of course we have the soldier pad but a lot has happened to good old soldier 1 in the last few weeks or so first of all our man Soulja Boy almost took any fat L in the last few weeks or so this fool shraddha almost died while driving back as a mudslide came hurling down a mountain on the highway and almost took our man Soulja Boy out for the count folks if that would have happened first of all knock on wood Soulja Boy and I for some reason he hates me and everyone else has reviewed a product of his on YouTube albeit we haven't really given him very positive reviews but regardless despite the little feud between Soulja Boy and I I don't want the guy to die for Christ's sake and second of all what would I do on this channel if good old soldier wife stop dropping products what am I gonna talk about the weather on this channel for Christ's sake one other thing that's kind of important to the story is that basically in the last week or two Soulja Boy stopped selling all of his epic game consoles and all he has up there as the original Soulja game console and he no longer has any of those sick little retro minis and whatnot on his site soldier watch calm so the few consoles I gave away and destroyed are probably some of the last we'll ever see of Soulja Boy drop shipping from China to the US praise be to God whoever bought them online and whoever those little kids were that I gave them to you were some lucky little Rugrats let me tell you that much and one other important piece of news that I kind of forgot to talk about was if you look up Soulja game.com right now the internet will redirect you to Nintendo comm as you can see when we type in Soulja game com instantly redirects us to Nintendo comm what a trip and if you haven't put two and two together that means that Nintendo has been clapping Soulja Boy's cheeks lately and it's probably legally flexed the rights to his website now and Nintendo can basically collapse Soulja Boy's cheeks whenever they so please at this point they probably had a lot of legal control over him and his little gaming empire at this point so he's stuck peddling soldier pads which we're gonna review today now for those of you guys who care or we're wondering this is soldier boys soldier pad golden white thank you and it cost me $200 a reasonable price I know and in classic Soulja Boy style here there's little to no branding all we see is the little android logo dude tablet internet device no soldier pad mind you the new google android system built-in that's expected awesome support Wi-Fi thank god 3g wire guess souls boy we really need to work on our english here but it's a modern technological device if you will as the necessary functions such as Wi-Fi Bluetooth and Ethernet when the hell am I ever gonna use Ethernet on a tablet for Christ's sake Soulja and on the back here has a nice little message do not use or save the product in the wet environment for a long time it's not waterproof bastards battery power less than 5% must be charged do not break the touch panel I feel like this just comprises the entirety of my common sense at this point our products have warranty and guarantee do not open the dispute I'm not sure what that even means or how it's translates exactly but from what I took from that is that I could probably destroy this and get my full refund back do not easily give a negative evaluation and bad feedback stars because the evaluation is unable to change feedback cannot change exclamation mark so they don't want me to give them better views but you know what soldier boy here on this channel we're honest about your products with the soldier phone I was brutally honest and I thought it was half decent so we're gonna be brutally honest with this tablet too and keep in mind guys this is from an enlightened iPhone user so you know this will be 100% the greatest review you'll ever hear from in the world Marcus Brownlee anyways back to the box please contact us review it on the review section but Lulu I'll keep in mind that you probably have a very sweet heart and I really do think this is actual dog shot then I'm probably not gonna get on there and read it but I will be honest in this video so better watch out Lulu and soldier boy let's get into this bad boy shall we as always guys just stick scissors aggressively into boxes if you want to open them faster and fun fact for you guys this little shiny piece of skin right here this little poorly healed piece of skin right here that is the entry point and the exit point of my hand when I accidentally impaled myself with a chemistry set with a perpendicularly angled a 90 degree angled glass straw in my chemistry set damn straight I am paled myself and had to go to the ER when I was like 12 I was just too kid trying to learn chemistry but the point I'm trying to make is you're too reckless you could end up like me anyways I'm ready get into this product already high hopes baby that is nice right from the start iPads this is a soldier pad baby all right this thing feels uncomfortably lightweight you know how those spoons when you move them really quickly they appear as if they're swirling in midair anyway so you get the picture it's extremely lightweight I'm just going to peel off this little sticker here Oh boom peel off this plastic in the back here yeah yeah that's coming up here's my first brutally honest impression from this thing first of all it doesn't feel like a quality luxurious product here but I didn't expect that it's a 200-dollar pad I'm not sure how to describe this feature but it feels very cheap and toy like if you will I could probably just chuck it against the wall and just bounce off like a rubber ball cuz it feels like it's just indestructible at the same time it would break upon touching it if that makes sense and just to give you techies out there some quick aesthetic specs we have this sexy camera right here with flash built-in I like that the nice little branding right here DDD F something like that USB awesome and what appears to be the speaker we have the volume buttons right here power button I'm not going to turn that on yet the aux jack if you will and what I'm assuming to be like the SD card carrier right in here if you stick your little pin into it boom it just explodes and ejects right out of pad one thing I will give Soulja Boy a solid 10 out of 10 for is the naming Soulja Boy has a tendency to name things extremely intelligently this tablet for instance is named the Soulja pad now I'm gonna be brutally honest I couldn't think of a better name sincerely to give this path is a scream Soulja Boy for some reason let's just turn this sucker on one thousand one one thousand there we go baby man I really feel like I could just fist this thing and break it in half the resolutions pretty ass if you will let's turn it up a bit I like the little entry transition here the D D D F pretty sick I will say I feel like if I squeeze this thing too hard it'll just fall apart to be honest ok Android is starting it says nice and it's on I'm gonna move the camera and point it a little closer to this tablet so you guys can get a better look at this bad boy okay guys the tablets on as you can see here's a little home button right here I like that nice little taptic touch going on there you can feel a little motor in the background the vibrating which is oddly satisfying just like the Soulja phone and what do we have on here we have a phone feature let's see it add a favorite 9-1-1 will it call just kidding I edited that part in and we have our music here we can download these uh mp3s I like that and then let's check out the camera here real quick doesn't look very good like that's me on the camera and it's not horrible I guess I definitely wouldn't take a picture with it actually yeah it's pretty bad okay this is HDR capturing whatever that means okay guys I truly want to test the capabilities of the soldier pad and its camera so I'm gonna take some 100% professional selfies and various photos of my college dorm and I took some of these sickest selfies in the history of mankind in the span of three minutes using the Soulja pad okay guys I just took some photos and videos with the soldier pad here and if I had to take a picture or video with the soldier pad I wouldn't it's that simple the camera is extremely bad but then again this is a two hundred dollar tablet but at the same time my $300 soldier phone was better than this I don't know what to say we're gonna give the camera a 5 out of 10 now that we know the cameras nothing to brag home about we're gonna exit out of this bad boy now we're gonna check out what the hell else is going on with this tablet I want to go to the settings here real quick and see if we can even increase the brightness okay there we go I like that little tablet mode a little better now we have horizontal access in the sucker I think the battery's solid I've used this for a good 10 15 minutes by now and it's still at 98 percent that's solid screen lock okay but my swipe I dig it I'm gonna go none though options to use pin password pattern swipe etc classic Android and an email account highly integrated with your Gmail account I dig it Wi-Fi you know you can connect to it we're gonna connect to our UCLA web real quick we're an exit out of here apparently if I pop the SIM card in here this bad boy can function as a phone which is pretty baller actually data usage I have no data tethering and portable hotspot VPN at this thing is a kind of a full-fledged phone actually if I wanted to be display there we go let's increase the brightness you're a bit fully bright it's not very good let's take it down to low brightness here and you can see me fully in the reflection yeah it's pretty bad mirror vision display picture quality optimization yeah this isn't gonna help regardless guys the set of engines to enhance display picture quality the interface allows for interactive tuning with real-time quality feedback making it easy and straightforward for users to tailor the picture quality based on their needs anyways trash wallpaper see what they got going on here check out this gallery baby oh I dig that we're gonna add that as these screens oh that is gorgeous yeah still the resolution is really bad as you can tell it is as one might say in French trash font size this is for the old folks out there who want to increase their font size and they can read their grandchildren's texts I don't want a screensaver shove off when device is rotated rotate the contents of the screen of course and we have 22 apps installed nice we have a solid Google Play app store I dig it storage 32 gigs that's pretty solid actually battery it allows for us all it to ours apparently and from with what I'm doing currently Duras speed what is their speed helps boost the foreground app by restricting background apps I like that but Tyler what about the pre downloaded apps what else we have here we have a calculator let's see if this bad boy even worse 78 times 3 there you guys it works and we have some other trigonometric functions going here I dig it calendar classic clock awesome contacts I am NOT gonna use this as a phone but I guess you could which is actually kind of sick honestly guys this is just a low-quality Android device that'll get the job done if that's all you have messaging this is interesting soo million types myself little Xan okay yeah it doesn't work I don't know why I thought it would but yeah the messaging system requires SIM card I'm assuming in an actual cell service in an actual cell phone plan if you will give the FM radio going on here it's awesome I've access to a radio but I will say one thing who and their right minds would listen to a radio in the 21st century while not in a vehicle just seems strange to me but anyways you have the gallery of photos here let's take a look at them actually here's some of the selfies we took so here's the first one just a picture of my thumb the fridge in my room that's just a really blurry selfie that's almost as good as it gets with this tablets camera yea pretty blurry selfie once again it was taken while I was being pretty steady so that's just trash on their end the sound quality on this thing is akin to that of dog feces in that it's really quite bad well let it slide it's only 200 bucks so what do I expect right and let's take a look at the sound recorder actually I'm gonna do a quick little sound bite god bless goodbye adios here's how the sound bite actually sounds guys guys just listen to the sound quality it's questionable whoever even spoke those words into this tablet has some serious mental issues first of all and secondly the sound quality is disgusting this tablet really isn't all that interesting the Play Store could get a little interesting you don't screw it we're gonna sign into our gmail here we're gonna try to test a video game boom we've officially hacked the mainframe here folks we have gained access to what many might call Wi-Fi or the Internet as a lot of people call it so we're gonna download a game real quick we have 32 gigs on this sucker just find a quick little indie game here the see how it runs cut down something like four night we're gonna test the results for something pretty basic here let's get this game called black seems like a simple 2d something or another let's just install this game called black here and see what the hell is up there we go we got black let's test this sucker out okay I'm gonna skip this and lame intro turn the volume down a little bit I don't want to get copyright truck or shrieking the hell's happening okay I'm just tapping okay this is dumb so the goal of this game is just to turn the entire screen black for some odd reason this app infuriated me therefore I turned it off and I downloaded a new one let's see how a game like brawl stars plays on this Jesus Christ and we have ourselves a brawl stars here and I picked this game because as reasonably new and it's four gigabytes a large which is one eighth of my total storage so it's a large game some high res specs going on here so we'll see if the Soulja pad can handle this nonsense that's the classic noise I grew up on never play this game before guys so this game appears pretty well on this tablet guys I'm not gonna lie everything looks good on here as of now once again guys if you drop this thing without a case it's done ski and if you look at the ends you can see like the light looking a little stronger on the ends right here just shows the poor quality of this device it's taking me eons just to connect to the server here and after waiting for what felt like years well technically it was just a minute in 33 seconds the game didn't load and I figured that it wouldn't load even if we gave it more time so I closed the application this tablet took a fat L when it came to playing big baller games like brawl stars okay guys while this tablet is clearly a reasonably priced product for what it is it's $200 you can get it anywhere else for what 150 140 130 $100 if you know what you're doing when it comes to shopping online so this is a cheap-ass tablet if you will this is the product of a commoditized piece of technology it's a cheap tablet right and it functions like one I didn't expect anything more from the soldier pad here especially not from soldier boy but the soldier phone was a stellar product for a reasonable price I thought before we count this soldier pad out let's check out what exactly is going on in this box here alright guys it's just looking here real quick we have ourselves a little charging cable which is USB and micro HDMI going on here so you just plug that into our tablet and charge it don't what not really nothing all that special yes and you're not even worth the unbagging and this is a little more interesting we have a little charger here where we can actually plug it into the wall and charge our device and this is more so just for USB integration and assigns these two little charging plugs here it came this which is a very brief and concise manual yeah it's just the user manual nothing all that interesting as you probably noticed I'm no tech expert I know marques Brownlee but I did my best to explain what the hell is going on with this Soulja pad here folks and I'm gonna give you my honest opinion right now from someone who knows next to nothing about technology and has been a lifelong iPhone user here I'll admit this tablet seems highly reasonable for my experience using iPads in the past never owned one but if used plenty and from my ownership of a Mac and overpriced computer I know this thing has a lot of functionality for a very cheap price I think in a $200 tablet it's not that bad but it's not that good either it is what you'd expect to get from a $200 tablet nothing too crazy it's one of those things where I would just invest in a decent sized phablet if you will so get the functionality of a phone and the size of a small tablet but different strokes for different folks here and that's really all there is to it folks this tablet is just a cheap-ass tablet nothing more complex at hand with that being said guys if you were wondering if soldier boy was quote-unquote scamming people with this tablet no soldier boy is just drop shipping a tablet and marking up the price a bit but that's what every retailer in the world does that's how you make a profit so it's reasonable the mark-up isn't to use various on this product right here and the product itself isn't absolute trash it's not a luxury product though and it's not marketed as one it's marketed as an affordable product which I believe soldier we marketed pretty accurately and I'll be listing this tablet on ebay if any of you guys want to go cop it real quick the ebay link will be in the description everything will be included I'm gonna factory reset this so go check it out if you want it I just want to get rid of it at this point I don't need a tablet it's whatever I just use my phone and my computer but if any of you guys were interested go cop it two days shipping whatever get it in your hands as soon as possible oh oh one more thing I'll be taking this entire quarter off from school I don't really like it at college so I'm saying induces to school in general I'm out of here folks in the words of every fifth grader five years ago Yolo folks life short and I'm not really enjoying myself here so I'm out I'm gonna collect that bread and I'm gonna survive baby and I'm gonna thrive so I'll be flying out of Los Angeles in the next few days or so going back to my
