We bought this 30 dollar bracelet
just to be able to do this wohoo, The best 30 dollars of my life. This
is the world of Nintendo in Japan. [Music]. Oh yes, oh yes a very exciting day, you have seen it on
the title of this video, we are at Universal Studios in Japan in the city of Osaka and today
we are going to see the new Nintendo park I'm really excited about this park.
It was announced several years ago that they were doing it then, that situation fell
of the planet and until March of 2021, a year and a half ago approximately from when I recorded this video,
they already opened it, declared as such but, recently Japan started to admit tourists
So, until now they were able to come and meet and, Wow, I'm really excited. See you guys, right now
we're in the area of Harry Potter's park and next to it is the new Super Nintendo one.
This is where you validate your Express pass ticket, let's call it that, by the way prices;
How much it costs to come here? The general admission ticket to the park costs you 9000 yen which at today's exchange rate
are about 65 dollars and then the Express pass for fast entry to the rides costs 11,000 yen.
These are about $90 dollars something like that at today's exchange rate.
So yeah, like your 160, 170 dollars to come to the park with the Express pass to the attractions
only from Mario Bros only from Nintendo so that's how it is honey, but, Ah,
that's why one comes to these parks, well, let's go let's go eh, we see people that many are wearing
curious little hats, the sun is tremendous, the excitement is at full. The Mario Bros park
of Nintendo in general, awaits us Let's go for it!. [Music] We've arrived, We can already feel the
excitement, we already see references all over the place look, look on the floor, eh, since you
you're coming in it's like you're accumulating points look at, uh,
200 you're advancing here 400, look at my buddy. How many times a day does he do that my brother? eh, about
3,500 minimum, minimum. Here the music starts already and look, if you want your picture like this with the
Super Nintendo sign, there's a line but, look at this line all the way back there and what makes me laugh
is that people know that there's a big line and they're taking a long time and they're even going to ask their friend to
take another picture, they take a long time and it is a long line and well, to pass as such you have to go through this tunnel.
Ugh, Hehe, Ah, this is like the castle of the Nintendo 64, yes, go inside
Hahahaha, You get arrested for being a joke Yeah, look there you enter that world in the sky you can get into the pictures oh look, that's moving look how it's moving, Wow,
I am impressed, there's movement all over the place. Wow, Hey, how cool, even the
line for you to take your picture with princess Peach. Wow, an applause to the people who work as a
mascot eh, You really need to be tough. Wow, every detail is super well taken care of,
Look at the carnivorous plants and the floating coins in the air, Ok, floating and spinning in the air, the
non-green shells going back and forth well, see how I do it so it won't let me do that; you know
why? because they sell you some little watches see these little watches, they sell them and
they have some code in there that, uh, in this kind of interactive rides and attractions, it sounds, you can see here something
Yeiyo is going to buy a little watch to interact with. What you're going to buy from Mari? and each watch of these
cost 3,800 yen at today's exchange rate It's like 30 dollars yes, it's expensive.
You bring your five children 150 dollars ones so that everyone has their own watch and are happy with their watch.
Yeiyo is happy with his watch, yes, look here those guys came uniformed, how hot those hats
There you go get those 30 bucks out of it, squeeze out the 30 bucks and OK, We're gonna do
the Mario Kart experience the line is not that bad, 60 minutes of line is quite a lot
but, if you come alone is 20 minutes, we bought the Express pass then It's good
Look at the Mario Kart uniform, Ah, we passed, it was worth buying the Express pass
for this one, we're really going through. There's Bowser o what a scary Bowser. Now, the
good thing in these scenarios of standing in line is that at least you cool off cause the heat
out there it's grossly heavy. There are the trophies, see, the Mario Kart trophies.
Wow, What's your favorite Mario Kart cup? to me I like the one with the mushroom, see, already about to enter.
I give you a beanie eh, You put it on like this and already through the door We're going to be in the attraction
here, look, at all the costumes and from here you can't record anymore so, I'll tell you how it went
[Music] Oh, it concluded. Ah, Wow, it's a little bit dizzy, huh,
I won't deny it but it's basically great. You go on the trolley, they put a visor on your cap
that they gave us, stick like a magnet and there you go looking at it like it's a Mario Kart track, but obviously it's got real elements. Then you're shooting shells and you're racking up points and it's like a competition. It was really cool, especially very well done, to me, it was really cool how it was.
Everybody's vision was different because everybody shoots their own shells, shoots different
contestants, is really cool and good; obviously you go out to the gift store as usual in these places.
And look you can buy some really cool stuff. eh, You buy your blue shell
to give it all the way up or your cart; This one is pretty cool, the banana
Obviously the cannon, a Luigi headband, a cap of Mario, a backpack, a key ring,
stuffed animals of all kinds from any character that you want. I want
a Bowser stuffed animal, look at that, clothes, toys and look at whatever you want, Okay, the intention
here is to do really cool things to take your money, Okay, that was pretty good, didn't you like it? I liked it
pretty good, Well, let's go to what's next. [Music] Yeiyo please show us your uniform, look at it. My Buddy can pass Mario, the first one, the
original Mario World. What is your record? like three minutes something, like 10 minutes?
29 seconds! but had a trick to pass it well fast -You grab all the flutes, you go all the way to the
to the last level and then you pass the Bowser castle. How long is that? I think maybe two minutes. What's the record of you dogs? that call yourselves fans.
Well, now let's go in to Yoshi's adventure OK Let's go to Yoshi's for this one too
luckily we have the Express pass and let's move on to the Yoshi's experience.
See, here's the attraction, these Yoshi carts basically, this is like more for kids I think.
I think we passed and no more oh no oh, oh, Hehe, Hop on, Hop on Oh, I think here.
I haven't been told about the camera Well, here I think I can record, they didn't tell me anything.
I mean they saw me with the camera and they didn't say anything. so, I think I can record, eh, Okay,
I guess this one, I guess it's just a ride, it's a ride in the park, we'll get
hard sun eh ride of hell. Lets go to get hard sunshine, eh, oh and we got
some buttons. What do these buttons do? [Music] Hey is cool, Yoshi does these funny sounds. also when it gets angry, when it gets mad.
So that's what it's like to just take the ride, enjoy all the scenery that honestly is
very well done and you get to have a good time, enjoy it, hot and happy days. [Music] Nice, nice it was just a nice ride, it was
a lot of sun, I was praying it wouldn't break down because I didn't want to get stuck in tremendous sunshine.
See, this is the themed restaurant where apparently they make you for example, a
hamburger like this with the bun, the star yeah, ok, they put Mario Bros in there for dessert;
it looks really cool, Okay, it looks really cool but OMG the line, the line is tremendous
We'll decide now if we're going to raffle because the line is tremendous and the heat is
intense. Come on Yeiyo, eh, Let's see come on. 30 bucks to make a little noise here my friend here
didn't pay 30 bucks so no noise. And well, in addition to the 2 main attractions,
the main one which is Mario Kart and Yoshi's there are three more rides which
you can only enter if you have your bracelet, the bracelet that Yeiyo already bought
the bracelet. Luckily, they let two of them in per bracelet, then I'm going to be coming in
with Yayo, uh, with the one he bought so, okay uh, come on let's go check them out. These are more like
little games, they're not rides, they're like games. Ah well, let's see Yayo unlock
our magic pass [Music] See, then how it works is
basically like this, Yayo is going to hit it, it comes out, grab the flower and now we have
to burn these objects [Applause]. Yeah, yeah and now we're going to a like a maze.
Let's see, Ready! we have input, we have input Bowser, the classic game. the little bomb here to this one is cool Ok it's too big this, eh, too
big it will eventually get here like to another game, Ok, let's see, already seeing this.
Maybe it's worth spending 30 bucks you're already up to here, you've already overspent I think,
looking at this Yeah it's worth spending your 30 dollars, good investment more than an expense an
investment. Ah, but, see there are some games where only the one who has the watch can participate
for example, in this one they only let Yayo and and the buddy who works here, then
putting the puzzle together come Yayito, you can! You can do everything Yayo, on the way back, faster! that [ __ ] very good, very good
That was active, no? Yayo is a kid right now, very happy.
I love that, to see so obviously the Mario fans are fans of video games and I love that they
incorporated video games into the whole experience. That's very cool. Ah, and let's see we found out
something interesting, this right here is like the secret game, to enter it is not enough
just to have the bracelet, like the one that Yayo bought, but you have to collect points, collect three keys, then basically check here you scan your little bracelet and look, there it is Yayo,
he is Mario and he's got two keys and he's missing one to be able to play the secret game, What's inside?
Why so much excitement? then, Let's play more so that you can go, no? Ah, look at this other activity.
You've got to hit it, there goes the shell and you have to hit it just when it goes there, Boom! and, eh,
that's how you earn the third key so you can enter the final game, this is like a casino.
Wow, well, there are a lot of activities No, buying the wristband is the option,
at a lot of Universal, honestly is nothing more that you interact with certain things, in here,
I think you do miss out on quite a bit if you don't have the bracelet, so spend the extra 30 USD,
as well as the good Yayo did. Yayito managed to get the three keys so I could
get into the final game, They let me in to see what was going on, but I couldn't play.
It was funny cuz I was just watching, suddenly the worker comes in and she makes me like this.
It's fun, it's like a little game, the truth, I love the way they incorporated the video games into the whole Mario experience, well, that's what
it's very nice it's very cool. [Music] Well friends friends so the experience
by the Nintendo park, the Mario Bros park at Universal Studios in
Japan, the truth is very cool, very nice; I loved that every detail was taken care of
But, you know who enjoyed it the most, Yayito he enjoyed it as the greatest, the truth,
I loved especially the setting that they put in all the merch that they sell you.
I love it and I heard out there that they are already working on one of these to put it
in America, in the U.S.A. I think it's the same, I think it's going to be a great success.
