I Turned My Birthday Into A Pokemon Extravaganza!

birthdays we all have them I hope and not too long ago I got to celebrate mine in the most me way possible I played Pokémon more specifically I had a celebratory stream full of all my favorite Pokémon related things but we had a few goals during this stream first off the destiny mark this Mark only appears on your birthday in Pokémon scarlet and violet and for some reason I didn't get a destiny marked Pokémon last year maybe I was busy touching grass or something I don't know man I wanted a shiny Pokémon with the destiny Mark and since it's pretty much an icon on this channel I went for shiny Wooper now let's talk odds first off the odds of finding a shiny if you have the shiny charm and sparkling power 3 are about 1 in 683 you have an even better chance without outbreaks but I didn't use an outbreak at first second the odds of finding a Pokémon with the destiny Mark without the mark charm but with title power three or roughly a 1 in seven chance with a peny bit of a better chance if there's no weather put them together and you have a 1 in 5,48 chance of a destiny Mark shiny with weather going on or a 1 in 4,896 chance without weather overall those odds are not too shabby considering that the base odds of finding a shiny in this game are 1 in 4,096 so it's just a bit more rare than a full odd shiny but not by a whole lot this Hunt is bound to result in plenty of shinies without marks or with the wrong Mark I've seen plenty of people spend all day trying to get one destiny Mark shiny so I had the feeling this stream would turn into me struggling to find one specific shiny for the entirety of my birthday but if that's how it is so be it and so to begin the hunt we went to the Pokémon Center okay let's talk to Nurse Joy thank you guys oh this is so cute oh that's so adorable [Music] wait I I want that cake that looks that looks delicious and we did some cooking made a good old sandwich with ham spicy hersa and salty herb mystica and if you've watched my videos for a while now you may be wondering where has chef Catherine gone usually Chef Catherine would make the sandwich what happened well here's the truth Chef Catherine we'll be back in plush form and if it doesn't then master ball oh hey let's go let's see rash rash nature I forgot that that's a nature okay moment of truth let's go first try are you serious s sick let's go well okay uh that was a little unexpected but hey that's some good birthday luck if I've ever seen it and since I still had time left on this sandwich I decided to hunt for a destiny Mark paldan Whooper as well uh [Music] o oh it's not marked but that is so tiny oh my gosh oh my gosh guys I don't know why I was like this it really isn't that tiny this might be a mini Mark it's not I've never seen one that tiny I don't think they can get any smaller than that yes they can now let's address the elephant in the room in case you couldn't tell by the audio volume or the skipping in the music I forgot to record and didn't realize until this point in the Stream I have not been recording hecking hecking dang it but from here on out that won't be an issue next goal during this celebration may seem pretty random for my channel and that's because I only recently became a bit obsessed with this Pokémon vivon it has a bunch of different forms which for the most part correlate with real places like this form from Brazil and then there's my least favorite form which also just happens to be the one for my area the goal is simple get every form of vivon the two forms I assumed would be the last two remaining were the elegant pattern which is exclusive to Japan and the Pokeball pattern which was a limited time Mystery Gift form I traded away a bunch of modern vivon that I got using a postcard on Pokémon go from when I went to New York City I thought it would be a cool and pretty sentimental form to send to viewers anyways the vivon trades began and I was immediately greeted with uh not a vivon that's a pretty Viv and let's add it to the collection we did a lot of trading during this stream and this video would be far too long if I kept it all in so here are just a few of the highlights Big Fish what name subscribe oh that's one that I was worried about honestly ooh oh and that's such a perfect match too that's so pretty thank you 7even up oh Oho that one looks nice Matt from the UK who likes Punk Girls wait I didn't look into that matap which matap was that was that the one that likes Punk [Music] Girls it is that's a really cool looking vivon I didn't even know that they had one with that like pale of a yellow oh what you keeping me on my toes here we got the Poké one look at that that's really cool looking ooh this one I love this pattern Trooper it's a Whooper Trooper let's go I appreciate all the shinies that you guys are giving me I will take good care of them mind you I do not need your shinies I am a shiny Hunter and I do plan on getting all of these shinies for myself at some point every single species but you know speaking of that's somehow another shiny that I don't have I was merely a piz is this just a Tauros oh hello there hi quag zire the BB no way oh hello voltor for real Butterfree oh yeah my bad this is not a vivon this is a Butterfree we're good we're good can we get a round of applause it's a channel one a friend why why is it dead oh it's a frost Mo okay thank you for the frost [Music] moth oh is this one going to be called vivon well that is a vivon oh perfect we got frost Mo and vivon thank you for the birthday wish why yes we did it we got it's asleep it's fine shh sh look look it has damp we're good we're good don't worry guys we're safe now after the stream I actually kept hunting because hey Whooper isn't the only Pokémon I love we've got figara alolan bullx helan W okay wait no that's also Whooper basically I have a few more targets that I'd like to get and I know it's so villainous of me but I use the power of time travel to get outbreaks of these Pokémon oh and also my actual birthday is the day after the stream day so I was already time traveling I'm so sorry I just wanted to spend my actual birthday touching grass I did most of the hunting away from my recording setup and I had some really good luck I was using sparkling power and Teensy power 3 on the off chance that I could get a mini Destiny marked figer unfortunately I didn't get a mini figer during this session but I did get a total of six shinies in one sandwich four of which appeared in the first 10 minutes and one of which didn't have the sandwich or outbreak boost and also happen to be a shiny I don't have thank goodness because I was actually worried about hunting for Blitzle I thought it was subtle it really isn't nearing the end of the day I did a few more hunts this time at my desk so good news for current me I can take a break from Rambling and let past me do all the Talking that no why why I'm using ice power man I'm just trying to get a destiny Mark Vulpix hi chimar why do I have to be deerling oh that's a shiny let's go I didn't get to see if it's marked let me just very quickly see if it's [Music] marked both of these no Mark Mark yes we got a destiny mark one I should have saved so I could get it in a better Pokeball this is gone not totally according to plan but wow that was very quickly after the deerling serious nature let's be real for a second giraffa rig is barely a giraffe it's got a pretty standard necklength like it's like maybe a little long for a horse also shiny uh this one is not a mini one I can tell but uh it's still cool actually I can't tell uh but I still am going to assume that it is not a tiny shiny it is tiny but not that tiny and first try let's go that's very nice because figer rap is kind of stubborn sometimes I pressed X and it didn't let me go to the menu cuz this fap was so speedy ah but it's not going to be Speedy with this I see this is a really small fig wrap let's go second try perfect perfect let's check the Pokemon yes uh let's size check them I already checked this one so we just need to check the fph this one's not going to be many it's a big one though so we should look at those in a picnic cuz I don't think that we got a mini one here but maybe a pint siiz Powerhouse yep so this is the second largest and the second smallest look at that look at the difference that's pretty crazy now imagine if for rigor was a thing in Legends archus and if you could get an alpha one the difference between the two would be insane I'm working on a video where oh shiny Wooper hi you marked you are marked I should have saved but it is what it is hello there little sweetie oh you're so cute yeah I'll I'll just quick ball it he SOA have Destiny Mark onless uh guessing quirky nature naive Dawn mark early riser interesting and that was pretty quick everyone else I'm pretty sure got one copy if they wanted one o a friend oh this one's pretty [Music] small literally on screen before I made my guess hear me out though I didn't know that and quirky is my my usual nature guess anyways let me have this win and we can worry about my stupidity later also I don't recall why I did this but after getting all my target Pokémon with the destiny Mark I went back for another Whooper for some reason that's a shiny swub why I swear if we're about to get a chosen one swne up I'm going to lose it thank you for getting in the ball we will take a look at you after the sandwich is over because quite frankly I don't want to know what Mark you have okay well let's see if we just got sne of the chosen one quirky tasty why it doesn't feel great that I ended my birthday off with a shiny that has only done me wrong and it just so happens to be the chosen one but
