I tried out viral travel hacks!! || OMG?!? 😩😂

going on vacation is supposed to be a fun experience but the whole booking packing traveling part of the trip can be annoying can be frustrating can give you anxiety panic attacks this is why that i've decided to test out some of the viral travel hack videos and we're going to actually test it out to see if they work welcome to the life of genie where i try to find joy in my life and hopefully and it looks like you're gonna pop well guess what the airline's gonna ask you for your medical documents and you're gonna have to prove that you're okay to fly so imagine you get caught and you're like i'm sorry i'm just joking i'll pay for my luggage that is so embarrassing so i definitely i wouldn't try this guys what's a piece of information that you learned that feels illegal to know zack here i do travel hacks every day it still blows my mind that you can buy hotel points and stay cheaper than what the hotel is going to sell you that room for let me show you baby the hyatt regency orlando june 3rd to 7th one king bed 2.99 total with taxes almost 1500 bucks same room viewpoint rate 12 000 points per night total for the stay 48 000 points hyatt has a sale going on until the 31st a heck it does work i believe the other clip had like a discount on points so maybe they have sales sometimes to purchase points so when they do then i guess this is a very good deal so thanks now you okay grab some press and seal lay it out on the table like this with the sticky side up lay out your jewelry on the pressing seal now fold the press and seal over like this okay and press it firmly around your jewelry now all of your stuff will stay neat and organized in your luggage lay your pressing seal out sticky side up oh ah i know the last part was a joke but for the first part i thought it was actually kind of a really good hack because i do have problems when traveling with jewelry especially my necklaces they get tangled up when i travel so let's try this out mind your problem i don't have any press and seal so let's go out and grab some i guess we can find it at albertsons let's go oh no they're sold out okay then off to a different place let's hope cvs has it you have got to be kidding me why is it so hard to find this is everyone traveling is everyone using this for that will rite aid be the winner i don't know let's go i can't believe it what is going on where am i gonna find this i'm going to try one more place which is ralph's and if ralph's does not have it then i'm gonna consider this hack a fail because if you can't find the product you can't do the hack am i right all right let's go okay we made it to ralph's so maybe it's here maybe it's not i don't know i know we can probably find it at walmart or target but there's not one close to my house so just being lazy we found it is my life really sad that i'm so happy that i found press and seal we did it guys let's try it it's time this thing was harder to find than toilet paper in all honesty i've actually never used preston seal before so this is interesting oh like one side of it is sticky and the other side is not so it's not like cling wrap where both sides are sticky so how much do i need well there's nothing to cut it i am challenged oh it's not my day today guys i'm just gonna place these on here oh no tangle no tingle here okay oh my hair flip okay oh it does work but the question is is it reusable because well after i use it i need to be able to put it back to more oh oh you can't even rip it apart uh yes it does work i'm just gonna see if i can use it again but look this guy tangled while i was trying to open it okay let's try it again does it work twice it does so this definitely works but would i ever use this hack i kind of feel like i might just because you can reuse it and you can like crinkle it up and just like i'm a messy person so i can just put it into my you know my travel case and it won't tangle so yeah i think i would use this do you guys remember those infomercials we used to see of those like shrinking bags where you like put your clothes in it and then like suck the air out of it with this little device and then your clothes don't take up as much space yeah i bought that well i'm packing for college and i've been doing this for years so i wanted to share how i do it with garbage bags and a vacuum cleaner so i have all my clothes in this garbage bag you might want to double bag it because sometimes the vacuum can rip the garbage bag but i'm just not going to do that for today um so i have the little vacuum part of it in there and then i'm just gonna hold it closed while i turn it on um and i'll show you what happens okay ready [Applause] [Laughter] okay so i took the vacuum part of it out and now i'm just gonna twist this and tie it and then you're good to go whoa look at how much smaller that is and like now it's really heavy and like condensed but are you always saying you're welcome those infomercials are a scam i have a vacuum and garbage bags okay so let's uh stuff this with some gloves i guess i'm gonna pack more clothes in here okay done this is heavy oh my god it already read yeah hefty ultra strong my ass i'm gonna double bag this okay well she did say in the video to double bag it so i guess now we know why wait is something stuck maybe something stuck hold up trying again it looks like a turkey would i use this hack probably not no how to travel hands-free that is the best hack ever jessica always with the first hack in order to test this out you're going to need a supportive partner that loves you johnny johnny bay nobody's gonna know best travel hack ever pillow flies for free nobody's gonna know they're gonna know how would they know what [Music] hold up that's actually like so smart because i travel with my own full-size pillow sometimes if it's long long-haul flights but i never thought of just stuffing it with my other clothes if i like over genius i don't actually have a pillow case with a zipper on it but for testing this i think any pillowcase will do oh yeah i mean it's not as fluffy yes to this hat iphone travel trick you probably don't know when you imagine someone your flight number and then tap on the bubble they can track your flight all within imessage no it doesn't doesn't it i don't know anything about my phone let's let's check this where's my phone okay ac555 siri sending and then we have to preview the flight oh i don't know anything about my phone well that works so yay for iphone users today girl we're turning your luggage into a bag of tricks use a vitamin holder to keep rings and earrings neat and separated large plastic straws work great at keeping necklaces from painting why do i think of that pack another net to store your hot irons when you're on the go until you get home to do your laundry just pack some dryer sheets stick one of these with the dirty clothes it'll help with the smell and don't forget small trash bags they are great for wet swimsuits and dirty shoes the dryer sheets i know i actually kind of do that at home i use the used dryer sheets and i actually put those in my like shoes and you ruin my underwear drawer and all my clothes and all that stuff so it always stays fresh the plastic bags you don't need to take that with you because when you check into your hotel they always provide you with laundry bags in the closet so just use that which is what i do the vitamin holder one i knew but the straw for the necklace like uh i didn't know that one so i'm gonna try that one out another necklace hack so i have my metal straw here i think i'm gonna like this hack too because it is gonna keep everything separated so here i have my necklace but i already see a problem with this hack is that sometimes you're not it's not even going through oh like so some of them like this one would never fit so what are you gonna do with that it wouldn't work on here but then again it wouldn't really get tangled and oh my gosh my necklaces are too short wow okay so that means you need a plastic straw and i guess i don't know kind of cut it like this okay okay yeah it won't get tangled but then you can't do it on everything so when i use this hack probably not instead of buying travel sized products and spending a lot of money on things we already have like look at that just buy some contact lens cases this allows you to bring a small amount of your favorite products without having to buy a travel size once you fill up the case just make sure you label so you know what is what and there you go my only concern about these is that will it leak because i have a problem with things leaking in my bag especially when i travel and things exploding so i always put it in ziploc containers here's my toner my beauty water i would probably never carry this in this i would use that you know those dollar store um like travel kits i would probably put it in there but they leak all the time it's so annoying but i think for creams this might this is like a really good hack but i just want to make sure it doesn't leak so here we go i put some in now and then i'm just going to like shake it around it's not supposed to leak because you're supposed to put contacts in here and the solution's not supposed to leak so you have to make sure it's like super duper tight but yeah it seems pretty good would i use it to try to use with my like lotions yeah i would just don't use it on toner oh yeah and make sure you don't use it for your contacts afterwards cause that would hurt here's something i wish i knew before i was in my 30s travel pillows go in front i'm so comfy i've seen this video before and it shocked me when i did because i didn't know that did you i feel like we need the makers of the travel pillow to confirm this if this is true because we've all been using it wrong i have never on a flight seen anyone use it at the front never you know let me see check the comfort level i usually kind of just like you know when i'm on the window i'm like but i never tried it this way okay well you're gonna have to get the right one because this you probably have to get
