I Tried Every Pro Stretched Res to See Which One is the BEST (Valorant)

so i was on tik tok the other day and i saw this french is so pointless bro i'm gonna keep it a stack with you you get no benefit at all from using stretch res bro and as a fellow stretch resolution player i was pretty salty so i actually did the test to see if stretch resolution actually does more good than harm so yeah i tested out all the resolutions on screen and found out what the most common stretch resolution is for pros i tested the fps the game latency and the render latency to see which ones had the most impact so i went in the practice range and did three tests for fps so one of the tests was me not moving in the practice range the other one was moving and then the last one was looking at the teleporter i'm gonna give you the average of each one and then we can see in the practice range which one had the most difference and which is the best for fps and game latency alright so overall 1280x968 is a clear winner on fps and overall game latency so now we're gonna hop in a game and see what these stretch resolutions actually play like in a real ranked match [Music] okay so my fps was by far the worst especially when trying to push aside and everything kind of happening at once i was spiking like below 120 fps and my game latency was almost 15-16 milliseconds at some point [Music] are you waving [Music] oh [Music] so on this resolution my fps was a little better but it was still pretty bad if you guys like the normal resolution but need a little more fps then 1600 by 900 would be a great resolution for you oh my god okay so 1440 by 1080 is my personal favorite this is because it's a middle spot for stretch resolutions so it's not too stretched and i still get a decent amount of fps when i'm like entering sites and doing basic stuff i don't drop fps at all and my game latency is usually just fine so it's a smooth gameplay without it being too stretched and too blurry so i can still see my opponents properly okay so i actually just switched this resolution after playing and it's been really nice and i've hit some nice clips so yeah just roll the montage [Music] you [Music] [Music] sometimes maybe good sometimes why use stretch resolution so basically it is more fps and less input lag meaning your game feels way smoother and especially if you're on low end to medium end pcs you can really tell a big difference in my opinion when it comes to overall performance uh stretch res will also offer a bigger crosshair so sometimes on native resolution the crosshair will be like quite small but when you stretch the screen out your crosshair actually becomes bigger making it easier to hit headshots and some common misconceptions is that the bodies are wider um which is false so if there's no really competitive advantage other than your game feels better the bigger crosshair but there's no actual competitive advantage so on native you've got people like tens yay sick shazam and on sixteen hundred by nine hundred you've got twifo and subrosa on 1440 by 1080 he got yampi and colimento and then on 1288 by 960 which is more of a popular one you have people like link soulcast zoms defo and a hundred thieves ethan if you guys want more fps but you like the native resolution look then i think a 1600 by 900 is a good resolution to use if you're on more fps but you still want the game looking normal but 1440 by 1080 is pretty nice to me it still looks good it's just stretched and 1600 by 900 there's less pixels it's not by 1080 so it looks a bit more blurrier 1280 by 960s by far the best ones in terms of fps in game latency and if you don't mind stretch resolution there is a no-brainer just to go on 1280 by 960. so yeah i hope this video has helped you guys if you enjoyed it really helped me if you hit that like button peace out
