i tried building a house with a random budget in sims 4

hey y'all so I got this idea from my good friend little cindy to do a random number generator Build Challenge I'm basically letting the universe decide between this number and this number what my budget is for this build so we're going to use this random number generator I am going to do minimum 5000 maximum I'm like like what's challenging in The Sims like I don't want to go too high because it's too easy so let's do like is 40 000 too much no well no no no I'm gonna do 40 000. let's see what our budget is that's pretty low 13 669 nice yeah let's try it I'm gonna write this down I will forget this number instantly so thirteen six six nine we are gonna try to use that entire budget squeeze out every last dollar welcome to my game you know what actually hold I'm gonna do something else okay now I have a family here and I can adjust how much money we have so thirteen thousand six six nine perfect now that's I don't know why seeing it in the game makes me feel different but I feel like that's like a really low amount okay so this is gonna have to be a s this is a starter home baby twenty thousand is a starter home maximum so we are like nearly half of that okay give me a second okay so this is what I've got so far very simple living room floor plan hear me out this is an entryway this is a living room dining room kitchen or kitchen dining but I think kitchen probably here it'll be very open floor plan and then we've got a bedroom a bedroom and like a bathroom in the middle the problem is that it might actually be too big as you can see we only have 9529 simoleons left so we've already eaten into the budget I haven't even put any Windows wallpapers nothing on this I think I may have to size it down a bit I feel like this is a little too big the bedrooms are just going to be small I think that's fine this bathroom might need to be a little bit smaller uh I might need to move it in a bit so I was trying to do this like a little symmetrical thing but that may not happen because I think I might have to move this in I think it's gonna have to be like pretty small I'm going to lay this out a little bit because I don't know how I'm gonna do this I just realized you can't get into this bedroom if I put the kitchen here sees guess I gotta rearrange these okay I think I've got it I think I'm gonna have to change these doors unfortunately but if I add a wall here I can make this like a galley kitchen and then I put this over here put the door to the bedroom here door to the bathroom can go here tour to the bedroom barely squeeze it in we have to have a tiny door the cheapest door is this Cottage store I don't hate it now what I would typically put my house these are forty dollars the next expensive ones are 50. but can I swing that I'm gonna try I like the store it's just it's exactly what I need fits there perfectly it looks nice I like it now it is time for me to finish the outside of this house [Music] okay it looks like I made a dungeon you might have seen me change the wallpaper like 12 times everything to me was just screaming dungeon in the woods I try to use debug items they're free so I'm not very used to using them so I they look a little stupid you got a lot of empty space the flowers don't really make a whole lot of sense underneath these trees if I size them down but I thought it would just add a little something thought this wheelbarrow thought that was cute you not know how bad I want a window up there you just don't know how bad I want one but not that one how much is that thirty dollars oh it's this one it's like a little round one that's what I want how much is that 80. if I take off base game there's got to be a small little round window I can put up there Thirty oh you're the best this one's also 30 but she's a little bit bigger I love her though cute all right that helped the only things that I really really want outside are either two plants right here or two lights like two of these but these are forty five dollars each but I honestly feel like plants might be more expensive okay these are 40. slightly cheaper just by a little I still would like lights there but I'm gonna let it slide okay I'm gonna let it slide I want to go inside we still have to buy lights luckily this light is cheap so we can use it okay we still need wallpaper and flooring we only have 6617 simoleons left I do not know how we're going to do this this wallpaper is great it's two dollars it's very pretty they got a billion colors I do love it I might do this like light green out here I'm just gonna do all pastels maybe a purple in there a pink in there these kind of look like two different shades of purple but I'm into it and then in here we will just do white or I guess that's gray whatever all right it's time to figure this out let's do the absolute Necessities first so I really want to get a TV but I just don't think it's gonna happen oh shoot I forgot flooring rewind what's the cheapest flooring wood floors yes yes oh that's pretty okay I'm liking what I'm seeing is carpet the same carpet's the same we might as well just do hardwood in the whole house except for the bathroom where I'm gonna put tile this one is four dollars it's not my absolute favorite these are all four dollars though that looks nice four dollars beautiful all right first let's do the living room foreign [Music] so here's what I've got for the living room so far it's looking really nice for what I've got it's a little bear I'd love a bigger rug than this I love some paintings on the wall but I'm gonna come back to those just in case later on I can find something a little bit better I'm still using debug objects it's not cheating if it's in the game I'd love to get some curtains but I don't know man they're expensive well those are only 40. I guess that's really not that expensive however if I were doing it the way I wanted to I'd probably do this with this in the middle no it's fine it's fine I'm Gonna Leave it empty for now actually no I'm not I'm gonna put these on here I'm just gonna go for it okay and if I run out of money we'll remove them but let's do the kitchen foreign [Music] it is so bare I want to cry I'd love to put something over here like a microwave let's 470 how much is this 240 your house is literally gonna burn down but like go for it honestly this trash can is so cute it's like a little wicker basket love that I'd love to put some Decor but I am scared that's gonna cost too much and I'd love to have upper cabinets but actually I don't think these came with matching upper cabinets oh no they did they're just way over here they're just really expensive oh I'd love to get three can I do it I wish this matched on this side I'm just gonna try to fake it that's beautiful did that cost me too much money probably I'd love to get a vent Hood but I feel like that's in a perfect world 70 for the cheapest one I mean yeah we can try but that's probably gonna have to get deleted I mean it's a really cute kitchen otherwise it's just kind of bare not a lot of Decor if anything I might have to delete the microwave we'll see otherwise it's not too bad really cheap appliances but it's cute it's small it's cute though now the dining room which is I mean it's a tiny space but we'll see what I can do foreign I think this is the best I'm gonna get I could keep it up against this window but there is quite a lot of empty space here so I thought I'd bump it out this is our centerpiece very cheap Decor fabricated chairs fabricated table this rug is free you're gonna see it a lot it's free I'm gonna use it a ton the curtains again and the paint takes a bit of a stretch these are like 25 simoleons but I only have 3 700 and I still have to do two bedrooms the bathroom I kind of already like I'm gonna these are the cheapest items these are probably what I'm gonna use anyways I do need a mirror though the cheapest one's 50. that's so small this one's 55. it's a little bit better and we all know how much toilet paper is 50 50 to wipe my bum I don't think so yeah like adding in towels and stuff on the walls I don't know about that I don't think we've got that kind of budget this might be it for the bathroom I'll try to fit in some decals maybe I think there are some free ones or some ones that cost like a dollar oh the free ones are scratches and no I don't want this we've got some five dollar ones I mean they're not great it's better than nothing oh if I size that down that's kind of cool it looks like a painting uh okay well some of these look like decals but some of these look like paintings that's really cool I'm happy with that all right let's do the bedrooms I have to get two beds in this house I have to [Music] okay here's where I'm at I have 584 simoleons left I was able to fit actually quite a lot into these rooms obviously there's no art on the walls or anything so we definitely need to work on that there were some spacing issues in here I really wanted the bed in this spot so I had to make it work but we were able to splurge on like a nice dresser I think we can Splurge a little now let's get some art on these walls it's driving me crazy we have a decent amount to spend I feel like we can get some nice art for not too much okay well maybe I spoke too soon this is 200 simoleons what do you mean it's 200 literally so bad so expensive for what why yeah aren't there some free paintings in here come on debug oh I did put this mirror in here bit of a Splurge but are you kidding it's gorgeous could maybe try to fit this back there it's only 40. it's kind of fun I like the colors it looks cool with the pink I'd love to get a plant over there oh my God our little plants so bad the cheapest one this one's 30. it's not the vibe though it's not what I'm looking for this is 40. are you for real I'm gonna stick that right wait can I even get in here can they get into this room be honest oh I forgot about this entryway whatever and like right here there's so much empty space ah I hate it that looks cool though I definitely like the plants there I think it looks nice this is gonna be a decal house I can already feel it this has some cool swatches we can uh size it up make a little heart photo these are 25. I think we could also probably size this up and get away with it okay so as low as I can get it when I size it up no I'm ruined that's huge should I just put a whole mural on the wall is that weird it's a little weird it's a little strange I think these are cool as like posters they're pretty cheap and I can put like two next to each other and make like a cool look I think I like that for that wall for this wall though it's just so big I need like something substantial I'm creeping into expensive territory it gets kind of scary over here like 200. how is that I've never noticed how expensive these are this is also 200. also 200. like this is a really this is one of my favorite paintings in the whole game maybe I'll use it I don't know should I use this one or should I just go like all out I'm like oh hello do the sunset okay now we only have 34 simoleons so we definitely need something here luckily this is a kid's room so decals are fine I'm cool with that we could even do another one of these I'll change the Swatch and then I'll make it big like maybe this showing off all of their accomplishments I don't even think I need to size that up I think that looks fine um okay I mean this is empty the entryway but that's all right it's so small we've got 14 simoleons left what can I squeeze out of that in the plant category nothing except for these nasty mutant plants there's some sculptures oh these are free what I'm gonna put an award in the kitchen as a Decor oh pumpkins are free oh my God hello October is Among Us okay this is five simoleons uh I don't really have any like surfaces I need to put stuff on it's like more walls oh my gosh I didn't even look at wall decorations I didn't even look in here you know what I'm glad I didn't these are all expensive too except for the photo booth pictures which are empty I mean I've got the I've got these like your diplomas very educated good job oh wait these aren't diplomas this is a pub memorabilia nowhere close to a degree never mind you're actually not educated I take it back I'm gonna put the dog and the horse okay honestly where am I gonna squeeze out 14 simoleons on sunblock oh wait I found some more stuff but these are all free I need stuff on the walls oh fish I've never been that excited about fish eggs uh this wall needs a painting oh look at that tentacles I've got four simoleons what can I do these are four where can I put them a firefly you would not believe your eyes you sure wouldn't I kind of feel like there should be something on the other side now I got a box of junk you just raise that up and put it on here box of junk coming in perfect oh my God I did it zero simoleons oh I did it hey I think the house came out pretty nice maybe 13 000 simoleons sorry hold on 13 669 000 simoleons can take you a lot further than you think especially when you're cheating and using debug just how the outside looks pretty nice I'm pretty happy with this I wonder if this is functional let's find out I don't think it is can you not get over there oh no the plants are in the way yeah darn these plants they're too pretty for their own good now they're all centered I want to cry can I like put them in the corner like that now we're talking baby now we are talking yeah I mean this is like a really well furnished house two bedrooms one bath a decent sized kitchen well I mean it's small but it's cute like we've got upper cabinets we've got a vent Hood we've got a pumpkin look I have a pumpkin anyways I think it's came out pretty good thank you guys so much for watching today's video I hope you all enjoyed it hope you're all having a wonderful day and I'll speak to you all very very soon
