I think I've found the worst Terraria weapon...

[Music] ever so often I come across a Terraria weapon that even after my 8 million hours of game time I somehow let slip right past me never once having equipped it in a playthrough and today's pick is truly no exception being not only a relatively Niche type of weapon but also coming at past a progression where I can barely conceive its entire existence of course I'm talking about the Golem's fist now where do I even start with this thing well to put it simply this weapon is a non-direct upgrade to the KO Cannon and after receiving a outload of buff since its introduction in 1.2 like let's see how you can get this thing unsurprisingly the Golem's fist is a Golem drop who saw that com in me leaning after defeating Plantera in your world you're going to want ahead and open your lizard temple as soon as possible once you're in there as always just try and Blitz through it as quickly as possible looting any chests you may find for power cells and fragments oh and if you want to make this party a lot quicker don't forget to drink a danger sense potion beforehand right once you finally make it to the alter room clear out all the enemies and we can begin the fight by activating a power cell at the altar at this point I would normally tell you the best strategies and weapons with the fight but with it being Golem basically anything goes even for the melee class so whatever you use even with very minimal Mobility you should be able to take him out very quickly and if you want to completely destroy the fight just use the terror blade like it is just busted anyway with a couple of treasure bags in hand upon opening you'll have a 14.29% chance of getting the Golem fist per bag so hopefully you'll get it nice and early like me here okay let's see what we're dealing with now I am going to be honest here my first impressions really didn't impress me it's essentially G of just the worst version of the chain Guillotines but firing a fist attached to chains that will return upon running out of range or hitting a Target or object and while this does mean that its attack speed and ver or DPS is determined by your distance from your target realistically you won't ever be this close ranged all the time so this 500 DPS is optimistic at best so assuming we say its actual damage is around the 300 mark even the possessed Hatchet another Golem drop can match this straight away and with homing ouch so not the best start for the Fist and unfortunately it doesn't get much better from here with the terror blade leaving it for Dead with seemingly no downsides other than its crafting recipe which isn't even that bad post Golem also if Close Quarters is what you're after the preem seedless sword can actually deal the most DPS on single Target out the allall making the face look pretty pointless right now also when it comes to groups of enemies apart from its ability to infinitely Pi on return which is marginally useful and St Dem this is primarily a single Target weapon so I mean at this point hopefully it'll make a comeb back against the real thing and I mean to give it credit here it did take out this group of mimics at much faster seeds and the Asha mention possessed Hatchet however like many post Golem mow weapons the teror blade kind of makes it look like a jokeing comparison also I think the thing that annoys me the most about the Golems fist so far is the fact it doesn't seem to excel in single Target all multi-target it's just sort of meh at both and yeah as always Mata blade which is the event in Invasion King is also the single Target King compared to this thing that was a hell of a line man I don't know there just has to be a use for this weapon so let's see what it does against your only real next challenge the cultist and well not very well it's just an awkward weapon to use I didn't enjoy the experience of and even if you can position your character well and nail your close range shots its damage isn't even that great I honestly reckon your average DPS will be even better with the possessed patch it despite the Homing damage Nerf just for the consistency and unfortunately with the Cs down I don't think it's going to get much better with the pillars and yeah it just isn't doing it for me oh and just because at this point I'm desperate to find soon that it's I thought I'd see how it did against Juke fishron and you know out of all the fights today this is definitely the most fitting but it's not like there aren't any other great weapons you can attain earlier to do this even quicker so it is what it is and there we have it the Golem fist genuinely and this doesn't happen a lot one of my least favorite weapons in the game saying this though I'm sure there are some of you out there who do
