I test Kazuha with EVERY character... (BEST C0 Review & Guide)

kaidah Hara kazua the true animal archon is getting another rerun for version 4.5 and there has been a lot of discourse surrounding this character whether or not he's fallen off is he still a must pull and after testing him with every single character in the game I'm going to give my definitive take so that I can help you decide whether you should get Canadian Aether and how to make the most of him if you do welcome to Jello impact where we've built and tested every single character to help you decide who you want to wish for and build there are not many characters that I personally would label as a must pull but kazwa is one of them yes of course no character is truly a must pull and GED impact and there have been more options that have released since the last time mapol Leaf man reran but he still fulfills a unique role in the game that is a very important and very impactful role that not any other characters can really do the same way we will talk about his other options and his strengths and weakness is more in the team section but let's first talk about what makes him so metad defining his grouping really is unparalleled not only is it the strongest suction in the game having a harder pull than venes even though its range isn't quite as big but it's also centered around grouping right around your character which often makes it a lot more smooth and more effective to play he also provides a very large damage bonus based on his Elemental Mastery he does a great amount of personal damage with both his skill and his burst and and he wears one of the strongest artifact sets in the game the veres in ventor which debuffs the enemies whatever element He swirls the last one of course is not unique to him but when combined with his Peak grouping and his Superior personal damage and Elemental damage bonus there really isn't anyone who does what kazawa does and because of that he is often the best or one of the best choices for a huge number of the cast of characters so if you want to make those certain characters shine he is a character that you want to pick up so let's talk about his performance on each of those [Music] teams I'm not going to go through them in any particular order of importance like this isn't ordered as to what the best Kwa teams are but there's a whole archetypes of teams that he's just the best on so for example we've got monop pyro monop pyro is basically Bennett changling kazwa and then the final character the peak being Linny but CLE is also a great option DEA is even somehow viable here and it's to the point where even shinan performs well so monop pyro is basically enabled by kazwa it really doesn't exist without him however there has been a new Challenger that has approached kazwa and that is Chev and she doesn't make monop pyro but pyro plus Electro becomes a thing so it's basically the same sort of teams but you've got Electro character here or you've got an onfield pyro with an off Fielder like Fel here and this is also one of linny's best teams so what does this mean this means that if you want to play characters like Linny or CLE they're not as reliant on Kwa as they were before especially for single Target damage however when it comes to AOE using a chev's team will completely fail compared to kwell unless sometimes if you're using Ryden with shus then her AOE can make up for it but even still it's pretty darn cop and that isn't even a monop pyro team at that point so basically what I'm trying to say is that monop pyro used to be one of the Premier ways of playing that particular character whereas now you have other options other than kazwa but in AOE context kazwa still comes out on top the VV shred for the entire team the Pyro damage bonus for the entire team and the grouping for the entire team and his personal damage is just too good to pass up he does also the best in aggravate teams in my experience I know on paper and technically um sucrose is technically just as good as Kell if not can sheet slightly better if you use her with C6 and hakushin ring in practice however I've never ever experienced sucros clears being as fast as k clears except for maybe in single Target sometimes but to me one of aggravates biggest strengths is its AOE most of the time using a dendro team in single Target you're better off using hyper Bloom so I would say if you're if you but if you do happen to use your aggravate teams in single Target a lot sucros is comparable but as soon as you go into AOE cwa's personal damage his grouping is just so high that it's hard to beat so not only that aggravate teams are very very flexible obviously I've got kaching here because she's one of of my favorite characters design-wise to play but even Ryden is a great character here Soo is a fantastic character here um yigo is probably the peak for a team like this but if you've also seen my recent video you've seen that Dory can work in aggravate team and being the Healer you can run nahita so Dory actually performs better than you would expect on this aggravate team you can also use saou as an aggravate driver the only aggravate team that doesn't work the best with kazwa is maybe a sucrose driver and bet off Fielder aggravate team because then you do get more sucus grouping and it can be it can be good so or it can be better so yeah aggravate is a great coso archetype and it's a very free-to-play friendly team because it basically just throws fishal whatever defensive dender you happen to have if you have baiju if you have Kirara if you have Yao yaa whatever you happen to have you can throw an aggravate team together and just whatever Electro character you want on field and you automatically do enough DPS to beat the game so aggravate is one of my favorite free to-play recommendations and I personally just think for me I get much better clears with Kaza as you know I'm a Masher at heart so sucros relid you to actually think and actually know enemy attack patterns which why would I want to think when I can just Mash with kazwa is my mindset and just overall is just much more practical and like I said you can throw whatever Electro character you want as long as they apply a decent amount of Electro you can drive the other thing you can do is run kukie as your healer run nahita as your Electro and run kazwa as as your on Fielder and you can give him sack sacrificial sword on this team and this is actually a legitimate Kwa team um that's bit more of an on Fielder and I really like this team I don't know if it's better than the other ones but it is definitely comparable and definitely quite good you can also put Dory I guess and I don't know some stuff like that um K's also best in slot on noet teams I cover this team very extensively in my novet guide so definitely go check that out if you want to see it but I think that Kwa is really really good for nolet I know a lot of people like to say that no can doesn't need Coswell because he has such good grouping um not such good AOE all on his own and I agree and I disagree I think that Caza allows nolet to take even more advantage of his great AOE because sometimes enemies are spread out and yeah when you've got enemies in this perfect line yeah novet is perfect and since nolet's released they've put enemies in like this perfect line every time they spawn and it's really funny to me but it's not always like that um and having a grouper is really really good so um hyper Ryden is another one this is Bennett Kwa and your Electro character your Electro character obviously if your Ryden is really well invested C6 Kujo Sara is the best especially if you're riding to C2 um but you can also run FAL if you don't have C6 Sara and fishal performs excellently in single Target and yo is a great choice for multi-wave and AOE um ya gets closer when you have a fivestar weapon Technically she's she is good in AOE because of her burst seoe um compared to Fishel but most of the time for most people Fishel will probably be better the thing about this team however is Ryden teams at least in single Target cuz this is still probably one of the best Ryden AOE teams but at least in single Target uh Ryden Chev is really really an incredible team arguably the best Chev team and really just one of the best one of my favorite teams just overall it's so consistent and my Ryden is very very well invested she is still just c0 but it's a Well invested right in Chev especially when you get to higher constellation um really starts outpacing Kwa for single Target damage which is crazy along with being much better in multi-wave so sometimes it's even better in AOE because Ryden does have good AOE all by herself and in multi-wave kazwa has to come back in every time he wants to refresh his Buffs and debuffs whereas chev's Buffs are just always active so if you can get away without the grouping then Chev is better but there are still many scenarios like as this current Abyss on the first half that having the grouping is just really really good and it feels just super annoying to play without a grouper there's also akaka team so obviously freeze um is pretty much horrible without Kaza pretty much any version of freeze feels bad except for obviously when venti really really works well which is very rare in the abyss on at least on floor 12 venty is still great on the lower floors and stuff like that but Kaza just makes freeze just infinitely better and AA has a couple options now she has finina Charlotte in these two slots or Shena kakomi I don't like aeka as much as I used to she seems have just they seem to have just been releasing content after content that hurts freeze um I still do like mono cryo for bosses when Elemental cry Elemental application is good you can use Charlotte with thrilling Tales here or you can use Lila and build her with Harbinger Dawn for damage uh and both of these teams Kaza makes enables and you also need Shena um and of course you don't need aaka for this monoc Crow you can also use Risley or you can use ganu where did my g go there she is and I do I do actually like this team especially for AOE um the ganu mono Crow team is actually quite good not insane but it's it's good Kaza is also incredible for VV Vape uh VV Vape huta with Yan benaza um or you can do obviously Singo Ben kazwa or even finina although it's not quite as consistent but could be some it's not quite as consistent sometimes it's better sometimes it's worse U but you can do yo Mia on teams like this and you can also do Shang Ling which is more of a which is known as kazwa National which is very good as well and of course Singo is more tradition played compared to yolan although in practice I feel like yol's just a bit better overall you've of course got International which is using child as the main DPS this is still to this day one of the best AOE teams in the game and because of the elemental coverage because of the grouping because of taria's AOE because of Shang Ling's high damage this has always been just one of the best teams for any given Abyss that has AOE it's pretty much Unstoppable although it is a bit tricky to play compared to some other a lot of other teams you can also do IO although technically if you're doing the guoba swirl teack which is swirling when guoba spits out his little fire sucros can actually be better here and sucros is technically once again for especially for single Target most comparable for VV Vape teams so something like this is technically comparable for single Target but again in practice I find kazwa easier to use and especially better if there's any kind of AOE so I do think sucros is very very strong and a good option for these types of teams especially for Vape I think Vape is where vape and aggravate are Where sucros is the the closest but even in those teams I still just find it easier to use kazwa I think the finina benett kazwa core is also just extremely strong and the on Fielder like it can be whatever you want as long as they're buffed by both Ben by by Bennett F and kazwa so like this team with aato like people always rag on iato this team clears so well like it's so fast for AOE for AOE clears but you can put Ry in here you can put I don't know who whoever whoever else any anyone who anyone who gets buffed by farini you can put here um you've also got plunge kazwa where you're on Fielding your kazwa and he can either be built with marish say hunter for more personal damage or left on VV for more swirls I tend to not really care either one is fine if you want to use kazwa on Fielder and like doing damage this is one way that you can do that um although aggravate Kaza is maybe more like in tune with his personal play Styles people also asked about buron kazwa where you infuse his burst with pyro and [Music] [Applause] like best in slot these are characters that I would highly recommend you get Kaza for and you'll feel if you main one of these characters you'll feel a very noticeable upgrade and the next row is characters that he is part of a great team with but it's not like necessarily that characters best team so you have other options if you don't pick up kazwa I would say that if you make any argument about kazwa falling off it's like characters that like Ryden and Hut and yoia and Lenny they used to have like no other options other than Kell I would kind of lean towards putting C putting Lenny up here it depends it it depends it's hard to say for for Lenny it's like right at the top but it's like there used to be more characters where ca was the best in slot now he's just part of a great team which arguably could be best in slot but it could be argued to be not um there's the solid option category the cope category and the nope category so you know if you don't main any characters in the best in slot maybe you can skip Kwa right um if you don't but but even still even if you own a character in the part of a great team and you you want you main that character I still recommend hav and cwo around for the option to play that great team I don't exactly know what what was bet doing here exactly I don't remember um he is a solid option for Wanderer especially if you have C6 fars on because you can actually build Kwa for damage on that team and it is really really good you maybe you could put that up here especially when the grouping is really good for Wanderer but I think Wanderer has enough stuff that he doesn't need Kwa maybe Risley goes here at the end of the day there aren't very many characters that I would put in the must pull category and Kazo would be one of them but of course if you only M Navia right if you only M Ito I don't know why Ito is in Cope if you only M Navia Ido Ula nuu yeah you don't need Kwa right if you only M alyam Navia if you m these characters the more the reality is the not like you can't have one character that supports everybody like this just not going to happen there's going to be characters that they don't support and sure if you own I don't know why why is De and cope oh it's because de like plunge de is just so much better nowadays I mean I don't know whatever de is De is tough I don't know I don't know I don't know what to say about de um if you don't want to use Kwa there's definitely other options unless you have one of these characters and you you guys get it I hope you guys get it he's still one of the most universal best uncontested supports he's still very very Irreplaceable nobody really does what he does and so you might as well get him if you have the pulls but unless you meain one of these characters you can get away without him I don't know what again Bennett doesn't really make very much sense up here but unless you made one of these characters and but for kokomi I'm talking about onfield Ki unless you made one of these characters there are other options that are comparable but when Kwa sings it feels like nothing else like people were saying in the nalet video in the noet versus Kwa vide it's like Kwa won't help you clear floors the atho novet will it's like yes he will because a lot of the early floors the reason why you don't succeed is cuz mobs are spread everywhere and all you have to do is build your CAA which is very very simple and easy to do and and all of a just put him with a pyro or Electro character and all of a sudden his swirls are doing massive damage and you're clearing floors just because you have kazwa so yeah kazwa kazwa good get kazwa if you can if you hate him there's other options for his build guide this is a level 90 character you need to level 90 him swirl damage which is most of his damage scales off of level so do it um T talents do some damage so you do want to level them up a little bit more than I have they're all about equal priority so the damage for normal attack is the damage when he slams down and it does do Eno damage so you do want to level that you want to level his skill and you want to level his burst all of them are about equal in terms of talent damage it doesn't affect the swirl damage just the talent damage but they all have some decent multipliers I would say 777 888 something like that is a decent place to stop for investment if you're meing DPS Kwa and you want to do actual Animo damage then you probably want to take them to 99 9 something like that for weapons it's very very simple if you have a high refined zhos Moonlight you want to use that um zos is just better fav if you have kind of R4 at at least R3 maybe R4 or R5 98% of people don't have zos though in which case fav is your best option um Kaza hits a lot of times with his skill so you don't need to build very much crit I have 33% crit and I feel like I never miss my crit so that's a perfectly acceptable amount to aim for um but if you don't have fa or if it's busy on someone else you can easily craft the iron sting U the iron sting means you'll probably have to go for an ER Sands if you want to burst every rotation you don't always have to burst every rotation it depends on the team aggravate teams it makes a massive difference uh a lot of times Vape teams you might want to swirl Hydro with your B infuser burst with Hydro if your character gets a lot of damage from their Vape if you're playing with an electro on Fielder like Ryden infusing his burst with pyro is very good and because you'll trigger a lot of overload which does a ton of personal damage so the burst does matter for a lot of teams it doesn't always matter like maybe a monop pyro team with Linny or something maybe the burst doesn't matter as much or a novet team the burst doesn't matter as much and in those cases like for novet for example just building with iron sting and maxing out em is more of your priority and same with monop pyro lini but when you are building for an aggravate team or overloaded team or something then it's very important to have your burst in which case you'll want to run fav or you'll need probably an ER sand unless you have just ungodly amounts of ER on your pieces in an Ideal World you run either obviously his signature is his best in slot the freedom sworn but it isn't that much better than just using iron sting or tuab Bru or even the three star dark iron sword is not that that much better and it does require you it has the same problems that anything but fav or sack does in that you need to build lots of er to get your burst also for Freedom swor not everyone can use the attack buff so it's not even always that that useful of a passive you'll want to use em or ER Sands depending on if you have generally em Sands if you have ER weapon and vice versa if you don't need the ER then you can do em Sands regardless em goblet em ciret and you want as much em crit rate like I have this piece has a lot of crit rate and some em so that's my off piece you want to aim for 1,000 em but you don't have to hit 1,000 em for him to be good but he still gives a pretty big buff at 700 em um you can also use sacrificial sword which obviously it provides so much ER that you don't need the second skill for ER but it can do good damage so if you're playing a team that has the rotation time so an aggravate team like a quick swop team like that sacrificial sword can be really good because it gives more personal damage it gives more grouping it's very very nice um but keep in mind that the VV buff starts ticking like the debuff it starts ticking it only gives 10 seconds and it starts ticking from the moment you first swirl it doesn't refresh if you swirl again so if you use two skills it can slightly reduce the amount of time that your on Fielder has to take advantage of coso's buff so that's something you do want to be aware of the other thing I will say is if you just prefer sacrificial because it's more fun than POG and it's not that bad like it is more fun sometimes I like to use it just because it's more fun and screw losing you know one extra second of up time but I usually end up going back to fav just because reducing the energy cost of your other characters bursts is just so good good that even when I can switch off of it I often don't just because it's so comfortable and easy to use it's like the shorts of Swords um for other artifacts if you're using him as a second Animo and he's on field you can like with the venty one you can use thundering Fury but I don't really recommend anyone go out and farm thundering Fury em set just for your second build and that's such a pain to switch artifacts around um but technically that is really fun because you just get a bajillion skills and you're just going up and down and you get so much grouping moving on to Vertical investment um you know should you get his weapon should you get a C1 should you get a C2 technically if you get a C2 his C2 used to be like a really really good C2 like it used to be one of the better c2s the thing is this increases Elemental Mastery for himself and for other characters so it does increase his own personal damage bonus it does increase his personal damage bonus so it does have some benefit outside of reaction teams but most the benefit comes from aggravate teams or vape teams giving the 200 em is very very good and it will make him always the superior choice in those types of teams the teams where sucrose was closer this will make him better but it's such a high price to pay that versus getting constellations or weapons for your main character your on Fielder I don't really recommend it overall I don't think it's good enough value compared to the other low constellations like finina C1 you know um I would highly recommend something like that instead especially since it is his C2 and his C1 it basically makes it so you can use your skill more like after your you burst you can use his skill again but if now if this was just you can use two skills then I'd recommend it because of exploration but because it's not you have to use your burst first generally that's going to be too much field time um to really be worth it on on a lot of teams anyways and so overall it can make it easier to use as weapon but you're losing again you're losing buff up time which is not ideal so overall I just stay away from kazwa constellations I'd stay away from his weapon I would just stick to c0 he's so he gets all of his value basically at c0 and if you're going to invest extra Primo gem I wouldn't do it in Kwa I'd do it on your favorite on field or on their weapon or their good low you know your ridden C2 or your Yi weapon or your huta Homa or C1 or your novet C1 or your finina C1 these days in Fontaine basically all the new characters have really good weapons or early constellations and I would stick to to those instead of getting a cosmo [Music] consolation for Value power level versus others I pretty much went through it in the team section so you can go rewatch the team section if you really want a proper breakdown of his value and power level but for power level he's stier he's one of the best characters in the game he's top you know probably top three top two you know I mean maybe you could argue he's top five at worst You could argue he's top five I think but he's pretty much one of the best characters in the game if you have have any interest in him at all I would go for him until they release and we maybe we can talk about future prospects here as well since I covered a lot of his value and power already but until they release more groupers of different elements Kwa is always going to be a character that I recommend cuz there's just or even it's the same even groupers of the same elements it's just there's no one that groups as easily as he does and you'll understand when you play him in the trial you'll understand when you if you get him that he really changes the game in terms of how you play like not all abysses have are as good for him as they used to be but because he even gets value if he doesn't group from the buffing and it's very substantial buffing it's still very very impactful and then for Value the value just go back to the the the teams tier list that's really where where value comes from in general he has very high value but it is conceivable that you might have an account that wouldn't get value from kazwa I think that now I think that weirdly enough the best competition that kazwa has received recently is finina because caza's damage bonus that he gives is he used to be like one of the only sources to give extra damage bonus but now with finina we have this character that delivers such a huge massive damage bonus that finina does and in a lot of finina teams um a character like Jean or Shen Yun like some other animal character will be your healer com you your healer um like the compatible healer for finina and also provide the VV so if you don't need the grouping finina buff plus vvv healer equals like better Kwa basically like a lot better and finina equals like yolon Singo in terms of damage so you basically get it's like a better situ like using Kaza plus yolan is lower power than using finina plus Gene if if like because of how much buffing that finina gives and finina has basically made it so there are other sources of gaining damage bonus so K is not as necessary and you have to run a Healer with finina anyways the only the only thing that kind of flies in the face of this a little bit is Bennett because Bennett is also a Healer that has excellent Synergy with kazwa and good Synergy with finina so if you can get away with running finina Bennett kazwa that is a crazy core and then Bennett is taking up that healer spot and that's the same if you are using Charlotte or if you're using someone else it opens up the ability to use kazwa with finina so now is definitely the least necessary K's ever been but he's still so far ahead in terms of the grouping that he brings on top of the other stuff still being very very very good that he's still up there with the must PS for me but I would put him behind finina personally and versus others I just think he's not I I don't think that sucr and venti are comparable the F the buffing that they give the grouping that they bring are just not the same they can be used as substitutes like I said in those Vape or aggravate team or sucros can because she then brings that buffing but I don't know it's also practicality wise right if you Technic technically know the game really well you can get away without that grouping more often than more often than other people can but for the vast vast majority of players like Kazo will change your life though for future prospects I think just to finish off with future prospects I think future groupers could make Kwa worse I think future like yeah we get one more grouper that's as good as Kwa cuz I know we have venti but it's not the same like ventti is just good in different scenarios and Kazo is good in way more scenarios then when vent's good he's to good so they don't let too many situations come where he's good so you end up just better to use kazwa I don't think that having venti really plays into whether or not you should get kazwa until they release more groupers that are as strong as kazwa and they do something else on top of that then I think that kazwa is still going to be a staple that I recommend Verina kazwa and nahita are basically the three staple five stars and uh if you don't get them there are more options that that's just the reality of genin right now right is that there's more and more good options so any one option is not as necessary but these are still the best these are still the best and highest value characters in the game versus like shenyun cuz she's another character that sort of competes with Kazo being an animal character but I think with Shen Yun she's the plunge is really really good in single Target and shenan doesn't have any grouping so that's even though shenan brings a lot a lot to the table in terms of refus energy and stuff it still doesn't make Kwa less valuable because kazwa is great in AOE and shon's decent for AOE because plunges have good a e but it's not the same Coo's just another level so and finally for Overworld Kaza is still still um Irreplaceable for Overworld to me not only does and there's a few there's a couple reasons why one is that he just does a ton of damage like with just him alone you can solo most of the content in the Overworld obviously these slimes aren't the great example but with him he his AOE damage and his swirl damage is just so so high and so good and also when you finish like you suck up all the drops right to around you and no one does this in the same way like technically yeah like you could use vent's burst and that will also suck up the drops and you can pick them up but like that means you always have to have vent's burst ready whereas kazwa is just a quick skill he's basically a staple Overworld character for me just for this reason alone until they release another character that can suck up drops with their skill like Kwa can he's also super good for vertical vertical distance because you can jump and then skill and that takes you pretty high it's pretty much the highest except for like Wanderer or something and even then it's pretty close he also combos with chori in the Overworld she can um she can use her skill and then whoops she can use her skill swap to coo who can jump again and you pretty much get the highest vertical distance like you can basically travel so that's really really nice yeah and when you're flying like and you're going along you can use your skill midair if it if it you know the cool down runs out and you can keep flying along and you get your stamina back when you skill so yeah overall he's just like I don't know he's just so good for game play tips and rotations there are a couple things that I want to talk about uh first of all in the Overworld if you want him to do more damage and this is not just Overworld but you're not really as concerned about this swirling Electro and swirling pyro give you the best damage whereas swirling Hydro is kind of just worse it kind of swirling Hydro feels like a wet noodle compared which is funny cuz it's wet but yeah swirling Hydro feels like a wet noodle compared to swirling Electro or pyro um cryo I'm actually not sure I don't play cryo a lot in the Overworld cuz I find there's a lot more cryo enemies in the Overworld someone in the comments is going to tell me how much cryo Swirls and it's honestly embarrassing that I don't know how much cryo damage swirls are compared to other elements but that's something to keep in mind when you're thinking about swirl damage that was Savage actually I think I'm going to save rotations because I don't there's too many rotations for every for every character and you can just go check out those character guides individually where I have rotations talked about individually for a kazwa you can look up rotations exact rotation guides on YouTube or watch Abyss clears but I will say after you've done your rotation so for example you use yolon skill and burst you use Bennett's burst then you go into double swirl hydro and Pyro you go to to make sure you did you go into cao's um screen and you check and see did he receive a pyrro damage bonus did he receive a hydro damage bonus and if you did the swirl correctly you will and if you did it incorrectly then you won't I just had a feeling there was a chest around here I just knew it wow there's two chests around here what the heck chests respawn guys chests respawn I promise I promise I just didn't not see these before I promise look it's proof because I had 100% if I didn't have 100% if I had if I didn't have 100% I would have I wouldn't have found chests because 100% means I found all the chests right right all right so if we do our double swirl setup and we check to see if we got the Pyro and hydro damage bonus yes we did so I did make a mistake I should have probably used his burst um differently because now I might miss some swirls because I did a pyro I did a pyro infused burst I would generally recommend um if you're swirling and to either not use the burst or pyro use the burst for a team like this also if you're wonder why I did no damage it's cuz I'm not running artifacts on Hut right now so yeah that is the Kwa video let me know if you're going to get Kaza if you already have him let me
