I Severely Underestimated This Battle ($1,000 Pokemon Vs Yugioh)

it's base set pokemon versus base set yugioh today we're going to be having a seven round head-to-head battle to see which one of these tcgs has the best poles will charizard win this thing or will the blue eyes white dragon steal the win there's only one way to find out this is gonna be pretty iconic uh we got the 1999 base set and then the 2001 base set of yu-gi-oh here so i'm actually going to save these for the seventh and final round for the first six rounds is going to be the reprint basically a base set here of pokemon and then the reprint of legend of blue eyes with yugi all right we're going to start off with round one i think i want to go with pokemon first here just you guys know there's going to be a point system on the bottom left-hand corner um that's going to keep track every round and the last round with the original base sets of these sets is going to be worth double the points and just so you guys know i'm going to be giving away two booster boxes in this video 10 set reprint it's pretty much as close to a reprint of bases as you can get with yu-gi-oh they just straight up reprinted it like a straight-up reprint but this is pretty close here so evolutions uh is gonna lead the way we're gonna do three from the back here let's see if we can win round one with pokemon charmeleon charizard spirit link as well okay so it's going to come down probably to like the rare and the reverse here staryu and we got our energy gotta growlith all right gastly charmander coming up on the reverse is a polygraph rare that's actually pretty solid but can we follow it up can we follow it up oh i saw the red dude that was such a troll the freaking arcanine always does that to me i was like it's gonna be the charizard and i forgot to mention for each pack i can only choose one card to add to the total here so we have one dollar in value on our pokemon pack all right yu-gi-oh so this is a legendary pack and basically it's a reprint of the original um but this is kind of distributed by another company that kind of just sells them as single packs because i don't think you could really have purchased them as single pack i don't really know exactly how they distributed the reprints it's kind of weird but anyway this is pretty much a straight-up reprint here i'm not sure the exact date i want to say this is also maybe around 2016-ish or something i don't know if they have the actual date on these either uh it's kind of hard to tell but yeah okay so let's go yu-gi-oh the cards are way smaller and um there's less cards per pack and then the pull rates are usually not as good although the reprints have actually do have pretty good pull rates i think i think it's four from the back here let's just see what happens all right so we're gonna start off here with our first booster pack we have dark right um so basically with yugioh if you guys don't know we went exodia we want the blue eyes white dragon uh we'll take some secret rares you know the big hitters is what we're looking for obviously forest oh metal dragon so pulling a non-hollow rare on that first one oh so this one does not quite make the cut pokemon wins round one all right round two we have the raichu pack and then all these are obviously gonna be the same artwork here um let's start off with pokemon again why not all right evolutions um yeah i don't know it's gonna be tricky it's gonna be tricky if we pull the blue eyes white dragon even from the reprint it's like insanely valuable um so yeah but i mean we have charizard that we plot here we have all the crazy fours we could pull kakuna full heal we got voltorb sandshrew poliwag diglett seal into a caterpie reverse that better not be the card that we're gonna be uh counting here we gotta get something better no freaking way baby are you actually serious right now oh my god bro yo i'm sorry yu-gi-oh fans but no freaking way bro i'm done i'm literally done oh my god second bag a caterpie right into the charizard dude how is this even happening right now oh my god talk about y'all i don't know literally you have to pull out the blue eyes white dragon out here i think or like one or two other big big cards to beat this oh that's crazy i mean it is super off center i think that's probably like a psa eight centering honestly that's like way off but dude yeah that that's nuts yo that is literally the worst the worst case scenario here for yu-gi-oh i feel bad now all right for anybody that voted for yu-gi-oh uh round two is gonna be it's not impossible to be it's not impossible to be it's gonna be tough it's gonna be tough but yo it's all about the harder the cards right now part of the cards you're really gonna have to be hoping for the heart of the cards on this one all right dude what the heck oh there's only round two man we are in the poke game i will say that one two three four all right uh harder the cards harder the cards mystical sheep number two hard armor i can't get over that ray's body heat a devastating round two loss these are the people that voted for yugo right now crawling out of the the the pit all right all right all right round two um you know what we'll start it with yu-gi-oh this time we'll start it with yu-gi-oh we'll let you we'll let you get one in on here all right here we go yo i mean i love yu-gi-oh i don't really open it up much on the channel because i really don't know if you guys ever want to watch it but i wanted to sprinkle it in here but uh yeah two rounds to pokemon right now it's it's not looking good i will say though that there's still there's still a bunch of rounds there's still four more rounds plus uh the final round which is actually worth double the point so it's still not over yet but um we're gonna probably want to get a hit soon here for yu-gi-oh all right let's start it off here and see we got dragon treasure now can we get a good pull we just we want a good pull like we need a super rare we need an ultra rare we need to see you know something a secret rare beaver warrior skull red bird legendary swordsman masaki we got man eater all right ready oh man no good spirit of the harp regular non-hollow rare man i don't know what's happening right now with yugioh okay oh dude so you just gotta beat one dollar all right uh honestly it's probably not gonna be that hard to beat that but you never know i mean if we get a really bad reverse out of here well it's only three only three it's four for you yo three for pokemon xy all right ponzir fly pikachu maybe we'll go with okay that we'll put that to the side because we can use one card we can use one card charmander we got rat attack caterpie magnemite voltsorb porygon reverse into a star me not hollow we're going with the flying pikachu at a dollar fifty barely just beats yu-gi-oh but we get another point for pokemon on the board three to nothing starting to look worse for yu-gi-oh right now but it's still possible for yugo to win this thing we'll start off with pokemon this time round four what is gonna happen now man striking out on you yo where is yugi's grandpa when you need him right now i'm like i don't know man he's probably chilling he's yo he's he's probably taking a nap or something because i don't know what's happening dude this is destroying yu-gi-oh charmeleon professor oak's hint can this be the round that yu-gi-oh just gets a point on before uh legend of blue eyes and literally like i was just cr i think i was pulling hits one out of two packs like super rare ultra rare cigarettes we got basic insects though okay that's not what we need come on can we get round can we get one round monster egg lesser dragon we're a little we need a little more than less the petite dragon come on come on come on come on oh my god just getting obliterated right now oh yeah just not even close that round round four's going to pokemon i think at this point yu-gi-oh like you just got to start winning right now just the i guess the tie i don't we'll get luckier with these it's essentially the same thing it just comes with some extras in here so i guess we could technically count if we get something crazy i guess out of some of these cards over here um okay um i might have to look up some of the that that might be worth a fair bit of change but yeah okay maybe not i need these still got a chance still got a chance okay here we go so yeah this is basically the same exact thing reprint legend of blue eyes white dragon here it's about time part of the cards kicks in here we go it's so weird holding these they're so much smaller than pokemon cards oh we got yammy okay um the witty phantom wasteland tara the terrible come on skull servant serve myself something good mountain there's got to be there's got to be oh my god brah what is happening with yugioh getting destroyed wait this is i forgot this one's actually about a dollar fifty it wins the round it wins the round we're coming back yogi's grandpa okay wow it is four to one right now pokemon's winning but honestly yu-gi-oh still has a chance somehow we're starting to believe in the heart of the cards right now okay we'll do pokemon again we'll start off but remember after this round right here we're going to be moving into the final round where these are legitimately the original of the original 1999 and 2001 packs we're gonna be doing double points on here so two points wherever wins the last round as well all right it's getting close now um i don't know if hugo can technically win but i think it could still tie worst case scenario so that's still something good all right i'm like rooting for yu-gi-oh now because i don't know i'll root for the underdog right now all right here we go full heal there's about to be a rocky movie moment right now the last round is coming back electabuzz growleth nidoran is anybody else rooting for yugioh now or just me poliwhirl okay not bad not amazing oh my god okay doug trio oh my god i thought we pulled this earlier but it was the polywrath this one is only worth 40 cents right now this is probably the lowest or like the worst evolutions pack we opened up yet i'm getting nervous now okay okay here we go this is round six it's four to one pokemon ahead yu-gi-oh honestly could win this round i feel like even one of these cards could could take it i don't know we got this frog dude and oh dude that's kind of crazy okay um i'm gonna check those hold up so this is also worth 40 cents so right now it's tied if we get something better than 40 cents in this pack yu-gi-oh is gonna get another point this is right now this is the heart of the carts moment this is a card of the cards moment right now okay man all right one two three four here we go all right we got the sheep we got the mountain oh my god spike sidra laser cannon armor the turtle tiger coming up on the last card are we ready let's just go rip it off like a band-aid oh flame ghost oh my god wait that doesn't this is a three dollar card yu-gi-oh got the second point on the board unbelievable i had no idea this is the this is probably the most expensive not hollow rare that we got from yu-gi-oh today on that last pack ladies and gentlemen we're on the final rounds round seven with the craziest packs here we have the 500 base set unlimited 19.99 pack from pokemon and then we have the 250 base set yu-gi-oh pack from 2001. i think we got to start off we got gotta start off with pokemon right now so of course we could potentially pull out as you guys know as everybody probably knows the original 1999 base set charizard okay we could pull out the blastoise we could even pull out our boy venusaur or we could get a non-hollow but although we get to choose one car from the pack as our point or a potential point one two three oh my god that last card looks like it got absolutely destroyed oh dude what happened that is insane that last card ha it looks like it honestly looks like a six on the back or seven that is the worst back on a rare i've ever seen okay um i'm kind of hoping it's a not hollow that's in here energy retrieval oh ivy sword okay so man even though it's like a little something there too all right we'll just keep going we got pokemon flute here we have menopaude man not the best condition right now on these base packs but we got pikachu that's a good point as well or we could that we could use worst case scenario diglett we got rats attack my boy ponyta psychic energy fire energy and we're coming up on our rare three two one no it's a hollow hit chansey but oh my god talk about a card that has been absolutely cut up like the blades must have been so dude that is probably the worst condition wizard coast cards on the back that i've seen but dude the front looks really really nice here centering is actually really good but that's a hot i mean that might do it for pokemon that might be it to win this thing all right this is it the 2001 it has the og konami uh symbol on the top there blue eyes white dragon the first set here in unlimited print run but the first print run of unlimited here we go are we ready for this the blue eyes white dragon would win this i think exodia would win this maybe even a secret rare could win this but here we go all right i don't think i've ever opened up one of these on the channel no i we did open a box before but i don't think a single pack all right so i guess i'm gonna do four hopefully that's correct four from the back of the front and it is correct okay trip wire beast to start it up all right so if yugioh wins this thing it's still going to be a tie technically but that would be a crazy comeback taking the win from pokemon i don't know we got mountain violet crystal we're going to need something big dark king of the abyss we definitely need to hollow like we need ohio it doesn't matter super rare ultra rare secret rare we need a hollow and we got the red eyes black dragon this thing are you kidding me that's it that's it yugioh actually wins that last round oh my god with the best hit of the day the red eyes black dragon no shot oh my god in an unbelievable turn of events the red eyes black dragon has been pulled this is a 70 card raw but if this were to grade a psa 10 it goes for around 1 000 guys i don't know what to do now i mean it's time i guess we're gonna have to just end it on that let me know what you guys
