Correct me if Iβm wrong, but doesnβt brass generally need some type of lacquering or other coating to keep from weathering? And that same mangy O-ring, even though they sell kitts for custom cutting O-rings.. perhaps its bit of profiling made it too difficult to make a replacement for?
