What can I accomplish in 100 DAYS of Stardew Valley?

100 days of stardew valley if you're unfamiliar with this challenge it's basically seeing how much you can accomplish within 100 in-game days of stardew valley you can make your goals something like completing the community center getting down to a certain level in the skull caverns or just getting all of your characters skills to level 10. i however did not set a specific goal for this challenge i simply just wanted to see how much i could accomplish within that 100 days just as a quick note this is a somewhat vanilla playthrough of stardew valley the reason i say somewhat is because the general playthrough options are defaulted i don't have remix community bundles i don't have it guaranteed to complete the community center before year one and all of the mine drops are normal where it's not vanilla though is that i'm playing this on pc and i have a somewhat modded playthrough a link to the mods that i used for this particular playthrough can be found in the description below but the ones that you will see most prominently in this video are ones that have changed the appearance of my farm animals to look a little bit chunkier as well as a mod that just gives me more detailed information about certain items and things in the game that i would normally just look up on the wikipedia page so i didn't feel like it was too groundbreaking to have since i could just look that stuff up anyway other than that the challenge is completely up in the air without further ado i created my character and we are off to spring day one of the 100 day challenge day one started out like most new playthroughs i changed some settings cleared some land for my starting parsnips and then headed into town to start introducing myself to the residents of pelican town day two i headed to pierre's shop to spend all of my money on crops i bought one of every seed i needed for the community center and the rest on kale thinking that that was what made the most profit but i was actually supposed to buy potatoes not a big deal i then spent the rest of the day fishing to try and get fish for the community center once it opened up for me since day three of a new play through is always a rainy day i use this as an opportunity to try and catch fish that you can only catch while it's raining i was fairly successful but the catfish did give me a bit of trouble since i didn't have a better fishing rod just quite yet day four i took my profits from the previous day's fishing activities to buy more seeds from pierre's and then went back to fishing for the community center bundles again day five is parsley harvest day after harvesting all of them i headed to town and was met with a cut scene to discuss the old community center with lewis after reading the cryptic message inside i headed to pierre's and sold all the parsnips that i had and once again bought tons of kale which was still incorrect since the most profitable crop from day five forward is green beans but oh well on day six i headed to the wizards tower to discuss the junoma riding and one bad acid trip later i was ready to start rebuilding the community center i completed the spring forage bundle and went ahead and planted all the mixies you get as a reward i also went ahead and turned in all the spring fish that i'd caught up until that point as well day seven was when completing the community center before the 100 days became the main goal once i saw that the traveling merchant that day had red cabbage seeds for sale which is generally something only sold during year two i sold as much wood to rob it as needed to get the money to buy them i took them away to be planted during the summer and did some more fishing to finish off the day day eight was fairly uneventful i sold that day's harvest was finally able to catch catfish spent all my money on more seeds and then gather resources from around the farm oh and there was a ferry event that night too which was pretty cool thanks to the ferry event i was able to harvest some of my now instantly grown crops which i for some reason put into the selling bin instead of taking with me to pierre's to sell that same day i guess it's just a bad habit i have at pierre's i bought both parsnip and potato seeds since i need quality parsnips for the quality bundle and potatoes were the most profitable crop to grow at that point i also went to the mine for the first time and met marlin but didn't have the time or energy to actually proceed down safely so just went home on day 10 marnie brought us our wonderful cat friend which i named diego after my real life cat and then headed to the mine where i made it down to level 7 before running out of stamina clint dropped by the next day to give us the blueprint for the furnace and we also had a quest to return robin's lost axe which i went ahead and found and gave back to her bills met up with vince and jazz outside the sewers to investigate the mysterious noises they were hearing and after all was said and done i spent all my money on more cauliflower and more parsnip seeds day 12 was a bad luck day so it was filled with lots of watering crops geode openings and resource gathering day 13 was a big harvest day since the mixed seeds had finished growing and it was also the day of the egg festival it was here however where i realized i unfortunately didn't save enough money for strawberry seeds which is a huge profit and i just completely forgot about it since it's been a while since i started a new playthrough and forgot that that was even a thing but i did win the egg hunt to get our awesome straw hat so i guess it wasn't a total loss day 14 i was able to complete the spring crops bundle to unlock some more of the community center and since it was raining outside i took the opportunity to proceed down to level 10 of the mines i also took the money from the mixed seeds harvest from the previous day and bought you guessed it more parsnip seeds to keep trying to get quality parsnips for the bundle most of my energy on day 15 went into watering my crops so i turned in some stuff to the community center in the museum which got me some seeds and that was pretty much it for that day day 16 after watering my crops i headed down to the mines for resources and to continue my progress making it down to level 15. day 17 was more crop watering but since my luck was bad i just gathered resources from the farm day 18 i harvested all of my parsnips and finally got enough quality ones for the quality bundle i then headed to robins to start building the coop and then spent the rest of the day gathering more resources day 19 while waiting for everything to continue to grow i gathered more resources cracked some geodes and donated some stuff to the museum not really an eventful day day 20 was a good luck day so i spent it progressing further down into the mines but for some reason i left before i got to level 20 and i honestly can't remember why so it was kind of a semi unsuccessful mining day day 21 and robin is finished with our coop so i went to marnie's and bought a chicken which i named egbert i also went down into the mines again and finally made it to level 20. day 22 was a mining day i fished a ghost fish out of the mines at level 20 for the community center and then went back down to the beginning levels to try and collect more copper day 23 i harvested and sold all of my parsnips and started construction on a silo so i could start clearing out all this grass to start gathering hay i also turned in more things to the community center started the upgrade on my pickaxe to help with my progression and place down some tappers i also spent the night drinking with shane talking about life and being existential you know good times day 24 was the flower dance festival which i didn't attend at all because i have way better stuff to take care of like taking care of eggbert and chopping down more trees for wood day 25 was a good luck day and was also the day that my copper pickaxe was ready to pick up so i spent the day just doing my progression where i was actually able to get tons of copper and because of my upgraded pickaxe was able to make it to level 32 before needing to head out day 26 i dropped off my watering can at clint's to be upgraded to prepare for the next season and then went back into the mines making it to level 45 so i can start gathering iron consistently day 27 more mine progression i got down to level 50 and got some cool new boots but still 30 more levels until we reach gold ore which is going to help us to create quality sprinklers day 28 the last day of spring i picked up my upgraded watering can from clint's and cleared up my farm to start planning out the general layout for my summer crops i finished the day going through the first few levels of the mine for copper and then it was off to start summer day 29 the first day of a new season i of course spent all of my money on the new summer crops getting one of everything i needed for the summer crops bundle and then buying as many blueberry seeds as i could since those continue growing and make me the most profit over the course of summer day 30 was pretty much watering crops and going through the mine trying to get through as many levels as possible while also trying to get iron to try and make sprinklers as soon as possible that way the majority of my days aren't spent watering crops i was also able to get solar essence to complete the adventurous bundle to unlock the bulletin board day 31 i completed the summer foraging bundle to unlock the vault and received 30 melon seeds as a reward i went back to the farm planted them and watered everything and then back into the mines where i almost made it to level 60. day 32 after watering my crops i went to collect the resources from the tappers i placed on all the different types of trees and then headed back down and made it to level 60 of the mines day 33 you guessed it more mine stuff i almost made it down to level 70 before a slime infested floor and lack of a bag upgrade and food forced me to leave before i took too much damage day 34 once again i was forced out of the mines before making it to another checkpoint due to lack of energy but i was able to walk away with quite a bit of iron ore later that night we ran into linus rummaging through some trash cans where we assure him that food going to waste is a bad thing and what he's doing is not so bad day 35 i prepared properly this time by refilling my energy at the spa before heading back to the mine which proved helpful since i was finally able to make it to level 70 and get my master slingshot only 10 more levels to go to start seeing gold ore day 36 eggbert's finally old enough to give us our first large egg for the community center i used to stay to go fishing for some of the fish that can be caught starting in the summer catching most of them and being able to complete the lakefish bundle day 37 was kind of like an errand day i took some stuff to the community center cracked some geodes donated what i had to the museum planted a starfruit seed which i got as a reward and then spent the rest of the day fishing day 38 my summer seeds are ready to be harvested but piers is closed on wednesday so into the selling bin they went this was also the first rain of the summer so i went fishing for the summer fish that can only be caught during this weather which allowed me to complete the ocean fishing bundle day 39 we start with demetrius offering to turn the cave on our farm into a fruit cave or a mushroom cave now normally i would choose mushrooms since mushrooms are a more consistent source of revenue but for this playthrough i chose fruit since the means of getting fruit can cost quite a bit of money and time so the earlier i can chance getting them the better it was also the day of the luau which i did attend submitting a quality cauliflower i had saved to the soup which elicited a very positive response from the town day 40 i had been giving marnie sweet peas every now and again to raise my friendship level with her so that i could finally get into her room and find lewis's purple shorts i then went to pierce to buy an apple seedling to start growing an apple tree since i didn't want to fully rely on the fruit cave producing one for the community center after that i went fishing for profit the rest of the day day 41 melon harvest day but i was only able to acquire two gold quality melons so i went to pierce to buy more and i also bought wheat as well for marnie's bulletin board bundle fruit cave also started to prove to be very useful already since it gave me an orange after turning in a few things to the community center i used the rest of my energy that day gathering wood on the farm day 42 finally blueberry harvest day i decided to save most of the profits so i could soon pay for more farm buildings but did use some of it on corn seeds since corn continues to grow beyond summer into the fall and just in case i didn't get enough quality melons by the end of the season i then headed to marnie's to buy a brown chicken which i named brafina but not before showing her lewis's purple shorts to embarrass her just a little bit before i return them to their rifle owner day 43 i began the first upgrade on my axe so that i could have access to the secret forest since the fiddlehead fern only spawns there during the summer i also took the previous day's profits and had robin start building the barn and then went fishing for the rest of the day for money day 44 was the first corn harvest i decided to go ahead and buy some upgrades that day to start making things easier for myself by buying the first bag upgrade finally giving me access to the second row of storage and a fiberglass rod from willy i then spent the day fishing once again getting a puffer fish for the community center and reaching level five choosing fisher as my skill since i mean come on how helpful is trapper really day 45 i harvested the wheat i'd planted a few days ago for the community center getting all 10 that i needed and if you haven't noticed a pattern by now generally when i need money i spend the rest of the day fishing and that is exactly what i did today day 46 the second blueberry harvest after getting my profits from pierre's i went to clint to pick up my finished axe upgrade at which point i immediately started upgrading it again to make it a steel axe which would give me access to the secret forest the fruit cave also produced an apricot which continued the progress at the community center where i also turned in a gold bar i had smelted using the gold ore i accumulated while fishing completing the blacksmith bundle robin was also done with the barn at this point so i bought a cow from marnie's which i named angus day 47 i saw that the traveling merchant was selling goat milk which i could use for the animal bundle i went ahead and picked it up since it was much cheaper and faster than buying a goat and waiting for it to mature so i could milk it speaking of which i also bought a pail from marnie to get ready to get cow's milk when angus was ready and also bought a pomegranate seedling from pierre's since i needed two pomegranates for two bundles and again i didn't want to rely on the fruit cave for that fishing for money filled out the rest of the day as always day 48 my now upgraded steel axe was ready for pickup at clint which i then immediately used to get to the secret forest to get the fiddlehead fern for the community center and since i could always use more money that meant more fishing day 49 the fruit cave once again proved very useful by producing a peach since we were getting closer to fall i decided to proceed down the mines to start getting gold ore so i could make quality sprinklers for next season i finally made it past level 80 getting tons of gold ore on the way out and fire quartz for the community center i turned in the hardwood i got using my steel axe to complete the construction bundle as well as the fire quartz to finish the geologist bundle completing the boiler room and giving me access to the mine carts i unlocked my level 5 mining skill that night as well choosing miner to speed up or gathering day 50 was another blueberry harvest day i sold them all to piers and then decided to save all of the profits that i got from them since i'm going to need a lot of money to upgrade both the barn and the coop over the next few weeks i decided to go ahead and go fishing later on that day as well to try and continue to get more money where i was also able to get a dinosaur egg which is really cool i then smelted a lot of gold getting ready to make quality sprinklers headed to the spa to get more energy and because i need a lot of resources for the farm buildings decided to use that energy to gather more wood on my farm day 51 i watered my crops collected hay by clearing the grass just in case it rained and i needed to feed the farm animals and i chopped trees down so i can keep on collecting wood for the upgraded barn and coop day 52 with a lot of the wood that i had gathered from the previous day i went to robins to begin upgrading my coupe to a big coop went fishing for more money and gathered more wood day 53 it's the last melon harvest of the season and i unfortunately did not get enough quality melons for the quality bundle so i am now relying on the corn i'm currently growing as well as the pumpkins i will grow in the fall to complete it i got a red mushroom from the secret forest for another bundle and i know this is like a cardinal sin but i also went to jojo martin bought a sunflower seed since it was just a little bit cheaper sorry pierre then i finished with me prepping resources once again by chopping more wood day 54 the last blueberry harvest of the summer i put out some hay for the animals to keep their happiness up since it was raining robin finished the coop upgrade so i bought a duck at marnie's which i named bill to start trying to get a duck feather i sold all my blueberries and also incubated the dino egg not important but who doesn't want a cool little dino running around after fishing a wood skip in the secret woods i proceeded down the mines to get more gold and more stone for the building upgrades day 55 i began smelting the gold ore that i got from the previous day's adventure which i probably should have done last night i donated some stuff to the museum to get a bunch of miscellaneous rewards i also at some point i guess got a purple mushroom i'm pretty sure i bought it for cheap from the traveling merchant regardless i submitted it to the community center to complete the field research bundle and then after that i just started to get more resources more gold more stone more wood day 56 is the last day of summer i went to the traveling merchant and noticed that she was selling a sandfish which is the specialty fish that you can only get by getting to the desert since it was fairly cheap and i wanted to complete it earlier rather than later i went ahead and bought it which allowed me to complete the specialty fish bundle i still needed more stone as well for my farm building so i went back into the mines for that i prepared my sprinklers and my general layout for fall and because it was the last day of summer of course it was the dance of the moonlight jellies event which even though it doesn't really do anything i still went to since it's just a pretty event to participate in all together and with that being said summer was over and we move into fall day 57 and the first day of fall i spent the first part of the morning tilling the soil around the quality sprinklers i was able to build at piers i purchased one of everything i needed for the community center as well as extra pumpkin seeds to try and get as many quality pumpkins as possible and as many cranberries as i could as they're the most profitable thing to grow during the fall raffina was also old enough to finally produce a large brown egg and i spent the rest of the day fishing for the new fall fish for the community center as well as just a profit day 58 we got a pomegranate from the fruit cave and we were also able to get large milk from angus i headed to robbins afterwards to upgrade my barn to the big barn at which point i saw that she and louis had been working on the special orders board i turned in some stuff into the community center and then spent the rest of the day fishing day 59 was a pretty great day for the community center bill was finally able to give us a duck egg which we used to complete the animal bundle afterwards i went fishing to catch the remaining fish that i needed to complete both the river fish bundle and the night fish bundle day 60 was a pretty easy day i went foraging for a common mushroom which allowed me to complete the fall foraging bundle and then just gathered a ton of wood that day so that i could continue to upgrade my farm buildings later on base61 i harvested my corn did a little bit more fishing went down to the mines for stones since i was severely lacking on stones and then of course just continue to gather more wood day 62 we finally harvested our first eggplant for the community center i spent that whole day gathering stone because as i mentioned before i was severely lacking on how much zone i had and so that's all i did that day day 63 i harvested my sunflower and then went down to the traveling merchant where i saw that she was selling both lobster and wine which again even though i feel like those things are things that i will eventually get as time goes on if she's selling them and i can get them in the community center faster then i will do so lobster actually completed the crab pot bundle which completed the fish tank removing the glittering boulder next to the mine day 64 is the first cranberry harvest of the season before heading into town i went to the left of the bus stop so that i could pick up linus's basket to return to him later after which i went to pierce to sell all my cranberries since none of them were needed for the community center all of my energy that day went into gathering more wood again for the farm buildings i met with willy outside of the mine to get the pan so that i could harvest ore out of rivers lakes and just general water sources and i returned linus's basket to him which he was pretty happy about day 65 i just need more money after harvesting my crops and getting my animal products i went fishing for the rest of the day day 66 we made a couple of new friends our dinosaur egg hatched and i named our new friend reptar i also went to marnie's to buy a new pig which i named kevin and after that i just needed more money so i went fishing day 67 i didn't do anything but fish that day day 68 our apple tree was finally done growing so we can start submitting them to the community center i went to robins to start upgrading my coop to the deluxe coupe i submitted an apple which completed the artisan bundle and then just like before went fishing for more money day 69 our cranberries are ready to be harvested again after selling them to pierre's i tried to do level 80 plus in the mines but i started to realize that my mallet wasn't good enough and also i didn't really come prepared so i tried to go to earlier levels to get a skeleton sword but after spending all day down there ended up with nothing day 70 and our first pumpkin harvest is here with only four times quality pumpkins which means i was gonna have to go buy more after selling most of them and saving some of them for the fall festival i bought more pumpkin seeds headed to the community center to submit one of the pumpkins to complete the fall crops bundle headed to marnie's to buy a rabbit from her which i named coco i also went back to the community center as well to complete two sections of the vault the 10k and the 5k sections and then afterwards i just went back home and cleared a ton of grass i was tired of it getting in the way on the way to the traveling merchant day 71 our apple tree gives us our third apple that we're able to submit to the fodder bundle which completed it giving us a heater as a reward afterwards fishing for money day 72 after watering my crops i pretty much spent all day at the fall festival i placed some items in my grange display and then headed to the wheel spinning game to try and get as much tokens as i could to get the star drop also apparently green has a 75 more chance of hitting than orange does so i was able to get to 2000 fairly quickly at which point like i said i got my star drop i also went to louis to check on my grange display which i unfortunately placed second in yikes later on that night we also got a witch event which gave us a void chicken not necessary but still cool day 73 there was now a dino egg and a void chicken egg in the coop but i went ahead and incubated the void chicken egg since i already had a dinosaur i went fishing later on that day one for a profit and two to catch an angler fish which is one of the legendary fish that you can catch in the game it was fairly easy to catch and again while not necessary i thought it was kind of cool to at least accomplish this during this playthrough day 74 was a cranberry harvest so i took everything to pierre's sold them all went straight to the vault in the community center and completed every single bundle there which completed the vault and also completed the bus repairs which would now give me access to the calico desert and if you thought i was going to do anything else but fish for the rest of that day you're sadly mistaken day 75 fishing realizing i needed to gather more hardwood so i can start moving towards fixing willy's boat for ginger island and then more fishing day 76 i pretty much just went fishing all day day 77 bill our duck finally was able to give us a duck feather which we then were able to use to complete the die bundle all that fishing by the way that it did for the last couple of days was really helpful as it allowed me to then upgrade my house i then just headed to the museum and donated some miscellaneous things gathered some more hardwood and yeah more fishing day 78 and kevin gives us our first truffle that we need for the community center i took this day as an opportunity to make my first trip to the calico desert where i forgot that i needed the skull key to get down into the skull caverns which you can only get by proceeding down to the final levels of the mine i tried it again realized i was once again ill-prepared and so left and feeling pretty defeated that day simply brought a battery to the tunnel for mr key or mr kai i can't remember which one it is for one of the journal entries that i had where he asked that i'd bring him a rainbow shell which was going to be close to impossible since we are now in fall and rainbow shells only appear in the summer it just wasn't a good day day 79 my void chicken finally hatched which i appropriately named sus while waiting for the house upgrade and my crops to grow as well as just in general waiting for the next season and for my animals to start to acquire more hearts there really isn't much to do for the community center at this point so i upgraded my backpack to its fullest extent i was finally prepared this time by bringing bombs with me to the mine to allow me to progress down faster and further where i was able to make it to level 97 getting my obsidian edge at level 90 on the way there before having to leave for the day so finally getting to a point where i can get the skull key day 80 robin finishes our house upgrade so i finally have access to the kitchen i make a fried egg which is something i need for the community center and then simply make my way down to the mines where i get to level 105 i also made it to level 5 combat choosing fighter as my skill for that night as well day 81 i collected some hard wood from the secret forest and then straight back to the mines funny story this day i almost made it to level 110 but as it was getting late i hadn't found the ladder yet and my energy was running low i picked up a red mushroom and ate it completely forgetting that it was going to actually take away energy instead of giving me energy which of course made me pass out and kick me out of the mines day 82 i made a maki roll in my brand new kitchen submitted it as well as the fried egg to the community center which completed the chef's bundle and then back to the mines where i was actually able to make it to 110 this time where i got some really cool space boots day 83 and our second pumpkin harvest gives us the final quality pumpkin that we need for the community center however since today is the spirits e festival i have no way to access the community center so i went to the secret forest to get more hardwood and then went right back to the mines where i was finally able to make it to level 120 to get the skull key for the skull cavern afterwards i attended the spirit sea festival since there was really nothing else to do that day proceeded through the maze to get the golden pumpkin at the end of it all and then bought a rare crow just because day 84 and the final day of fall after harvesting my cranberries i headed down to the traveling merchant and do you remember a few days ago when i said that it was going to be close to impossible to get that rainbow shell from mr key well turns out the traveling merchant had it that day now i didn't really know how far i was going to go with this quest or how many steps there are for it so i went ahead and picked up the rainbow shell anyway went to the secret forest to collect some hardwood and then headed into town to sell the cranberries that i harvested as well as to submit the quality pumpkins i was supposed to submit the day before this completed the quality bundle and the pantry room giving me access to the greenhouse the skull cavern then becomes pretty much where i go every day until the end of the challenge because it gives me the opportunity to get a rabbit's foot from a serpent albeit a very low chance iridium ore from iridium bats just in case i don't get any from geodes and battery packs since i'm pretty sure it's not going to storm at all any time during the winter time making my lightning rods essentially useless despite all of that and the fact that my luck was bad that day i was able to get a rabbit's foot from a serpent which is crazy it's like a 0.8 chance i took it to the community center to complete the enchanters bundle that night which also completed the bulletin board and with five out of the six rooms completed the only thing i need to do to complete the community center is just wait for winter so that i can get the winter foraging bundle so getting to ginger island has now become the main priority before the 100 days is up with that we mark the end of fall and with only 16 days left to see if we can accomplish getting to ginger island we move on to winter day 85 and the first day of winter the last season of the challenge we ran into krobus outside of the bus stop on our way to gather both forageables for the winter bundle which we were able to get fairly quickly which not only completed the crafts room repairing the bridge to the quarry but also completed the community center which was the main goal of this 100 day challenge so even though moving on to ginger island has become the main priority at this point our whole goal since the very beginning was to see if we could complete the community center within a hundred days which is something i've never done before i've never even completed the community center before year one so this was such a wonderful accomplishment for me and i'm so glad i was able to do it after that i did some miscellaneous things i brought the rainbow shell to the box of the train station as instructed by mr key where he told me i was then going to have to put 10 beats in lewis's fridge which i knew i was never going to do i followed the footsteps at the park to meet crobus where i was given a magnifying glass and the ability to find secret notes i gathered some hardwood from the secret forest in preparation for completing willy's boat as always and then planted the winter seeds i got as a reward from the community center day 86 we got a message from willy challenging us to catch a squid which is the first step towards completing the boat to get to ginger island on the way through town we watched the community center celebration scene where we encouraged pierre to settle things with morris the old-fashioned way leading to pierre punching morris straight to the moon which was the first time i'd ever seen that and was absolutely a joy to watch i caught a squid in the ocean that night and gave it to willie at the saloon to show him that i am ready to go to ginger island and then planted some asian seeds in the greenhouse which i knew i wasn't going to utilize them but i had them in my inventory and the greenhouse was completed so i figured why not day 87 we need battery packs and we need iridium bars in order to fix willy's boat so it's straight to the skull caverns where unfortunately on this day i was only able to walk away with enough ore to make one bar day 88 in the skull caverns after going floor after floor after floor i finally died later on that night but that didn't really matter since i didn't get a single battery pack or a single piece of iridium ore at all day 89 the wonderful evelyn starts off our day by giving us a garden pot as well as a recipe to make more i checked the traveling merchant to see if there were any battery packs in stock no such luck went back to the skull caverns and again later on that day died but again didn't find anything so once again nothing lost day 90 i was only able to find two iridium ore that entire day i was in the skull caverns but by every metric it was better than every single trip to the mines as of late so i viewed it as a win day 91 was a pretty great day and gave me a lot of hope that we could complete the ship and get to ginger island before the end of the challenge our day started off with pierre letting us know about new seeds and how we shouldn't go to his competitors i guess he completely forgot that he absolutely murdered morris just a few days prior headed to clint's to crack a ton of omni geodes which actually gave me enough iridium ore for another bar this time around i prepared for the skull cavern a little bit better by bringing tons of bombs and food where i made it down to floor 16 where i was lucky enough to find three iridium bars in one treasure chest this gave us the five that we needed to repair willy's boat and now the only thing missing is battery packs since these can really only be found on iridium bats which spawn after level 50 i went through the regular mines so that i could start getting more iron ores so i can start making more big bombs and stone to make stairs day 92 while waiting for pam to get to the bus stop later on that morning i headed to the mines to get more iron ore and coal so i could make more big bombs the trip to the skull cavern this day was unfortunately useless as i ended up with no battery packs whatsoever i went to the trader and bought some desert warp totems as well so i didn't have to wait for pam in the morning since that extra three to four hours that i could get in the mines could make all the difference day 93 at this point we are only seven full days away from the end of this challenge so unfortunately i basically decide to no longer take care of any of my farm animals and warp straight to the desert sorry guys i made it all the way down to a dino floor before level 50 where i was able to kill some iridium bats but no luck on the batteries and i didn't have any stairs to skip having to kill all of the dinosaurs so i cut the trip short i spent the rest of the day back in the regular mines to acquire more iron and more stone day 94 i was only able to make it to level 40 but with no dino floors with the potential to spawn iridium bats or any treasure chests i ended up leaving with nothing kevin also gave birth to another pig that night which was okay and i named that pig chops day 95 i worked straight to the desert again and luckily enough on level 54 i was able to get one battery pack from an iridium bat that i had killed a few floors down however though a bad fight with a serpent a slime and a bat caused me to pass out luckily however when i woke up at harvey's i didn't lose the battery pack so i considered it lucky and called it a night two down three more to go day 96 our luck continues because the traveling merchant was selling another battery pack that day bringing our total batteries up to three which means we only need two more to complete the ship and my confidence that i can do this has now gone through the roof back in the skull caverns however my luck for iridium bats was unfortunately going to be my downfall at level 60 i ran into about a billion bats at the exact same time i tried to place a ton of bombs and survive the onslaught of bats as much as i could but unfortunately a misclick bad timing in the fact that there were so many of them made me pass out and forced me to leave the cave day 97 was a bad luck day since i was pretty sure that meant that finding ladders and shafts quickly throughout the day as well as being able to even get a battery pack were going to be fairly low i spent the day gathering iron and stone in the regular mines hoping for a good luck day the next day day 98 started off crazy not only was it a good luck day but the traveling merchant was also selling another battery pack which means i only needed one more to complete willy's ship to get to ginger island however there was a problem at this point if i want to access ginger island by day 100 we would need to not only get the last battery pack but we would also need to be able to bring it to willy before 5 pm today since it takes a full day for his ship to be repaired with that i traveled immediately to the skull caverns where i speed ran through the levels as quickly as i possibly could using every bomb and stare at my disposal that i've accumulated at that point however when five o'clock rolled around and i was still in the skull caverns being able to get to ginger island by day 100 was basically out of reach i did make it to level 49 though where i saw a treasure chest that could potentially have the last battery pack but unfortunately only contained an apricot sapling my goal at this point has now become to just see if we could even get the last battery pack to start construction on willy's ship before the end of the 100 days so i continued further to see if we could at least find one but unfortunately no luck that day i did get my level 10 mining skill at the end of it all too but i you know at that point it was not needed anymore day 99 started off by getting a new voice chicken friend its default name was zupu and so i just changed the last two letters to make it zuko my favorite character from avatar the last airbender i basically did nothing this day i donated whatever was left to the museum placed a bunch of rare crows and statues outside kind of like trophies cracked whatever geodes i had left over at clint and then donated more things to the museum it was also the first night of the night market and so i checked the traveling merchant since she shows up at every night of the night market to see if maybe like the game was gonna laugh at me by finally giving me a battery pack but unfortunately still had nothing i attended the mermaid show which is always an interesting thing to experience in this game day 100 and it's the last day of the challenge like the 10th doctor saying goodbye to all of his previous companions and kind of just tying up all the loose ends i pet all my animals and thank them all for their help i finished out some journal quests that i've ignored up until this point about a cool new cap from the hat mouse down in center sap forest brought some maple syrup to the bear in the secret forest as well also found lewis's gold statue behind his house which he tries to keep secret i checked the travelling merchant just one more time to see if the game was gonna do that last laugh but still no battery pack after that i placed lewis's gold statue in the middle of pelican town right next to my community center trophy and with that being said the challenge was done 100 days of stardew valley finished thank you all so much for watching i really hope you enjoyed my playthrough of the 100 days of stardew valley
