I PAID $10,000 FOR AN ELECTRIC DIRT BIKE! || 2019 Alta EXR Redshift

good morning so i did it i finally made the purchase i've been trying to make for the last year i've been looking for one if you guys saw the video i rode one of these things last summer i've literally been looking for one ever since and boom i have finally acquired one but there's a catch so it should be done charging let's hope how do i not a good start don't know how to use it hopefully yeah okay this is the little key that i have to not lose i feel like that's not right i figured out how to get it charged so this is the exr which means that i don't know what that means apparently the it's definitely street legal so we got the headlights we got some mirrors just in case we got tail lights and blinkers and i think the software is a little bit different and for sure the suspension is way different so my plan for this is to make it a project bike i guess i'm going to do something really cool with the plastics and graphics i'm going to pretty much do this thing up and make it as sweet as possible and it's never seen a track it only has 200 i don't know if it's no it's not on it only has 290 miles it has only been commuted on the road it is brand new and i'm gonna get the poor thing dirty but i can't resist i mean we i took it on the street and it is it puts a smile on your face it is exactly like driving a tesla it's everything that you would imagine of an electric dirt bike to be and it just gets me freaking excited so all right without further ado gonna bring her to the track break it in um see if it can't jump a little bit and get it dirty but today we'll just be the true tech we're gonna take it on the track behind me daniel's private track we're in virginia this is like the perfect track for an alta pretty hard pack super cross style so i'm not gonna be bogging down killing the battery i brought the 240 watt charger by accident so we don't have a way to charge it today but this will be a test of like okay how long will this thing actually run i don't know anything about it which is good i guess for you guys so you get like the true noob version of the altar [Music] by the way shout out foxo usa i'm gonna link below how you guys can get one of these things this is a custom it's this is called the moto box right daniel all right see you daniel so this everything in here is cut to the foam you have like every dirt bike specific tool that you would ever need these are for front and rear axles get all your stuff in here and it's all cut this is how it comes you don't have to do any of this amazing it's the perfect toolbox to take to the track so i'll link that below so you guys can get your hands on one of the boxer usa the tools are super quality as well so i'm gonna start in mode one you can see it right here so i'm just going to work my way into it i forgot i had a horn that's hilarious all right i'm going to truth here the scary thing about an alta is when you let off the gas in the air it literally nose dives as if you touch the rear brakes [Music] all right going right to mode two so that's one lap in mode one o two this thing is soft yeah fricking well that doubles easier than my 450 out of that corner i almost could hit this all right the only thing that's holding me back is if the suspension is soft all right mode three so mode one to mode two was the difference between like a klx 110 and a yamaha 125. wow crazy okay so i don't think mode 2 to mode 3 will be that significant oh all right i'm afraid to do that finish line all right mode four i'm also gonna go one two three click stiffer front that rear needs some adjustment but holy crap all right mode 4 this is fastest mode you can hear it right out when i'm in the air wow it sounds like a beast i've definitely hit the finish line this time oh my god absolutely [Music] this thing is the best thing i've ever bought hey oh all right going a little stiffer all right pretty much all the way stiff the first thing i'm doing to this is i'm bringing the suspension to sgb and they're going to spring it for super cross and coat the forks and coat the shock so that'll solve the suspension issue otherwise this thing is the perfect motorcycle but your tire must have hit that okay and kind of bent it up oh oh yeah i bent it that's okay no no don't do it now maybe just take this whole bracket off later and do it by hand where is this supposed to be aiming not there yeah no it was it was i thought yeah that's a that's a light for the plate nothing like breaking a ten thousand dollar electric bike that's okay ten grand for this puppy bro that's a steal that is actually a finish line oh okay that was cute was that cute yeah after all that riding still like i guess 80 battery that was mode 4 as well so fastest mode best 10 000 i've ever spent if you can find one of these which they're extremely hard to find especially in this condition get one this thing's amazing holy cow just puts a smile on your face every single time um
