I Messaged 100 Professional Cricketers To See How Many Reply…

I have a list of 100 famous cricketers and over the next few days I'm going to be sending each and every one of them a personalized Instagram message the target of this being to see how many of these professional cricketers will reply to me and just to be clear I'm not gonna post this video unless I receive at least one response so if you're seeing this it means we hit our Target much like a good Archer speaking of which let's start with joffra archer you see what I did there you can't write this stuff anyways to Joff I said hi Jeff really missing you in the current World Cup wishing you a smooth recovery back into the England Team all the best and with that on its way to Joff we've officially sent our first DM staying on the topic of England cricketers I think the best next move is to message every single one of the current men's T20 World Cup squad wishing them luck ahead of their match versus Sri Lanka this Saturday so I'm gonna get on with that so the classic message I was sending out here was hi into her name I think you're brilliant can't wait to see you play this Saturday simple but hopefully effective okay and the final member of the England T20 Squad Mark Wood let's send in the classic message okay so the messages to the England players have sent and the only logical move is to play both sides of the equation it's time to wish the Sri Lankan team good luck as well so just as I finished the last Sri Lankan cricketer I was met with this message that says basically I can't send messages because they think I'm sending out spam which I guess I sort of am it's getting late now anyway so I think I'm gonna go to bed and then I'll see you guys tomorrow morning and hopefully we will have received a reply okay so it's the second day and I have good news and bad news the bad news is well um none of the players actually replied to us last night but I sort of expected this because they're pretty busy right they're probably not on their phones they're training for upcoming games this is the current T20 squadline message that may have been a tactical error the good news is the plan that I've come up with to ensure we get some replies the new plan makes a little bit more sense so instead of targeting the actual current T20 Squad players I'm going to Target some of the current players who aren't in that Squad because they'll have a little bit more time to reply to me and we're about to start with than Tom Banton who follows me on Tick Tock now as Tom follows me on Tick Tock I need this to be something special I'm gonna have a long hard thing and one very long very hard think later this is what I came up with so I've said his name is Tom Banton his timing better than the clock Tom please reply to me so we can make a tick tock we're gonna go with it I then spent the next hour Finding and messaging some more professional cricketers this time using some puns to lighten up the mood and oh God these were terrible so I'm sending a message to Tom Bess uh just the usual hey mate massive fan and I decided to go in with a little bit of a pun Don Bess more like Don Best but I pushed on through the pain of my terrible puns and by the time I received the inevitable message ban I had sent out 52 messages okay it's going well I mean it isn't no one's replied to us as of yet but I've just sent those out and I really do have a lot of Hope for these I'm going to continue to message some cricketers off camera and I'll check back in with you guys when something exciting happens it's been three hours since I sent out today's batch of messages and we have already received a reply this reply is from Jordan Clark I said hi Jordan massive fan keep killing it and he liked the message so there we are Jordan Clark he is of course a professional cricketer for Surrey and he is verified on Instagram so that is a lovely start this has sparked a little bit of Hope in the whole idea and I'm looking forward to getting some more applies time we've got our first solid reply as well he said thank you bro appreciate appreciate the message glad you enjoyed our messages are being appreciated it's pretty early on day three but as I'm already up and recording I may as well lay out the plan for today so today I'm going to send out the last 30 messages to the cricketers which will leave us in the position of tomorrow being our final day when I see you guys next I will have sent out all the messages and received all the replies and I am so excited okay hello again so it has been nearly four days since I sent out the first messages so I think now the replies that we've got are the replies that we've got We're not gonna get any more but before we get into the replies I wanted to share with you some of my personal favorite messages that I came up with so I've got a list of my top five messages that I sent out for these cricketers let's get into it so starting at number five I sent Vera a reply if you are the goat got you there this clearly means Barbara is better and now look I don't want to anger anyone I am now wearing a Pakistani shirt but that is just coincidence I like both of them I'm completely unbiased please don't come at me in the comments I think they're both brilliant cricketers but I mean he didn't reply so coming in at number four is my message I sent to Sheldon Cottrell who is obviously famous for his um stupid stupid celebration and I simply said your celebration gives me nightmares very cool though keep it up coming in at number three we have my message to Joshua de Silva please forgive me for this one because it is horrendous to Silva more like the gold because you're number one seriously big fan mate keep up the good work I hate myself okay stop it's me from the future I think we can all agree that that message that I was just talking about is both embarrassing and unfunny well he's seen it and not only has he seen it he's replied and not only has he replied he's followed me on Instagram we're gonna get into his reply in a second but before then I'd just like to point out this guy has scored hundreds against England he now follows me on Instagram as should you see it keep up the good work how insane is that now I received this message earlier tonight and what I've done is I've asked him to send me a video of him saying something that's cheeky and well that might have been a little bit too cheeky because he didn't do that let's get back to the rest of the video and coming in at second place today is my message to Ireland cricketer Mark Adair and this is equally as bad as number three I said hi Mark keep up the Fantastic work for Ireland Cricket it's truly amazing watching you guys rise isn't I watched them beat England and that brought tears to my eyes it was so hard to watch you've got to do what you gotta do to get the reply I then went in with a little bit of a pun I dare say you guys will win the World Cup sometime in the near future I need to stop I need to be stopped and coming in at first place is my message to Akil hosen in which I said hey Legend I love you more than Tesco Hoisin duck raps did you get it because his name sounds like Hoisin so that pretty much sums up my favorite messages which brings us on to the replies now I've already covered Jordan Clark Brandon Glover and Joshua de Silva but there are two others that I'm yet to talk about England cricketer Jamie Overton like Tom message I mean it's a pretty boring message so it did only deserve this pretty boring reply but anyway that is quite cool and our final reply comes from another West Indian cricketer oh Shane Thomas now to our Shane I said oh Shane you are insane lots of love from England keep killing it that is awful to which he replied thanks mate a good reply simple and yet effective all in all not a bad set of results with a five percent message to reply success rate which I suppose thank God brings us to the end of this video four days 100 messages
