I Made an Epic MINECRAFT Floating Island (IN REAL LIFE)

i want that you guys ever heard about this new game that just came out called mind craft son of a hello who is this dad gilman okay hold on well i sure have my daughters love minecraft and i've been seeing some really cool things online people creating these little minecraft dioramas using paper and a website called papercraft basically i want to do that but i want to combine minecraft and wood so let's put them together to make something juicy and delicious and the type of weird i'm going to use is this wood to be exact this is called basswood and it's a smooth as a bass oh i decided to go ahead and make my own blocks you can just buy some and go that route but i want to make mine so leave me alone now let's turn that wood into a butt load of minecraft blokes so okay so let's not make our own blokes okay shut up it has taken me forever to make them it would have been so much easier to just buy them but no yes they're perfect in every way but it just in the end it wasn't worth it it just took me so long now the next step is to well start gluing these together and my plan is to do it in layers i'm going to glue a layer down that i really like and then i'm going to glue another layer on top of it and just keep on why don't i just show you okay so this is taking so long just give up that's my advice to you oh okay hold on hold on a second just hold on i said oh my gosh okay as you can see here it is looking well like this this is sort of like a hill right and then it goes down into what is going to be i think i'm going to turn that into wowder and then give it a waterfall sorry i'm out of breath oh i just went from a sitting to standing position so wilder to wow or fall and then this is going to be like sort of the beginning of another hill i might put a tree i'm going to be making the waterfall out of resin i have no idea what i'm doing but we're just gonna keep on gluing blocks together for another hundred years yay so okay uh i am going to make a change to this the upper section i think it looks okay but i've decided to change the design just a little bit i'm going to take part of this off and put it on the bottom so uh let's whack it off i think about there uh i just keep it nevermind we're not going there let's do that oh bread so we're just gonna uh wacky do uh with our tool well shall i do it maybe we shouldn't do this on a piece of glass so yeah haha i'm a quirky funny youtuber so quirky laugh at me at me can't you see the pain behind my smile no yes what we're gonna do is well i have to close this off and i might put something sort of in this area and do some stuff so just watch me do it yeah okay okay we're done well not actually we're not even close to being done but we're done with part of it and that is assembling and putting together gluing together all the blocks for each section thank the glob also after i got them done i went ahead and put a coat of paint on everything else just to give it a nice glossy finish because i'm not going to be painting this i'm going to be using water slide decals if you've ever put together a model the little decals you use those are called water slide decals because you will put them in water and then you slide them off onto the the surface of the model and in order to make them i went ahead and ordered some inkjet water slide decal paper then went back to pixel papercraft and downloaded each of the designs that i would need like granite or stone or dirt bloke or grace bloke etc then put those into paint and custom created each design i would need to cover every single block of each section so we're going to essentially do a wrap not that kind of wrap so we're going to put some decals on this right now now that we have our decals printed off for the tree first thing i need to do is cut out all of these now that we have everything cut out we are ready to start putting on the decals and the way we're going to do that is with a bale of water first i'm going to take those put it in the water let it soak and release from the paper backing then i'm going to take some paint brush wilder paint it on the surface that will allow it to sort of slip around and slide around so you can get it positioned where you want it okay also i'm going to try a technique that was totaled to be my my good friend mr bonaby son of dicks color corner inside sharp down here brown appear green where intersection decal won't bite showing what was that you ask why did i put blue in this area well this is going to be like a little pond and i'm going to put some blue resin in there and instead of doing you know the green grass or the dirt on the back of the blue it would just make it look gross so i just decided make this blue then when i put the blue in there it will still look blue it won't change the color of the resin if that makes sense so in order to put the resin in here i'm going to need to damn excuse my language i don't know why i'm laughing at that it was okay in order to put the resin in there we're going to need to damn this damn area we're just gonna use a piece of plastic slap it on there make sure it doesn't leak that's gonna be the most important part cause if this thing leaks then so let's pour some raisin foreign several bad puns lately all right that is definitely hard so but oh boy that did not turn out like i was planning this looks like some sort of ymca pool that hasn't been cleaned for the past 50 years i think what happened is it got hot because this stuff it's you know has an exothermic reaction it builds up a lot of heat so i i think that it was cooler here because well it's thinner the deeper area got hotter and did something to the ink but kind of can't do anything about it now you know what it'll still be cool shut up we still need to give it a few days to cure because it's a slow reacting resin so while that is continuing to cure we need to figure out how to put some torches on this bad boy yes i'm going to be putting some minecraft torches on each one of these columns we're going to have to run wires and stuff up through these so let us figure that out together so let's do that i have an idea of how i'm going to do this let me flip this over since this is the bottom and no one's going to see it much and it's going to be covered with decals i think my plan is to i'm going to go ahead and drill a hill down the center of each pillar and then create a channel or you could also call it a groove we could just groove it then i'm going to lay a wire down each groovy groove and down the hill intersecting with the torch that will come out here then i'm gonna fill it and then decal it and no one will see it it'll be our secret it'll just you and me will only know so don't tell or i'll sue you you you right there don't you think i'm joking i will sue you i will sue the pants right off well assuming you're wearing pants also what a weird expression words are weird expressions are strange i don't know what is going on where am i what's oh hello bug pay attention when i'm talking to you okay where were we we're almost finished this project has taken me the longest by far out of all my projects who would have thought i literally told nicole i was like it'll probably take about a week wrong i just can't believe it we're at the point where i finished all the sections the upper the upper middle the lower middle and the booty all that's left now is to glue all the sections together and then hang it on the wall and then we're done so my hey guys i finally finished the epic
