i made a song in Fortnite..

so mine crafted it first with no clocks and now fortnight has it's very own music making system so today I'm gonna try and use the brand new items inside fortnight to try and make a banger that's right we're gonna make some music inside fortnight let's see what we've got to work with it's in here somewhere got it music block gallery and a giant piano piano boom very nice and then we have this oh my goodness it's huge BAM yes oh these are like the note blocks let's um let's see what sounds you've got to use first row purple okay there's actually a ton of percussion sounds and just so you know I'm not going into this blind your boy has a degree in music production I literally haven't used because I became a youtuber instead so now's my chance it's common in to use finally after six years what we got next Oh like some thick like real thick double sea bass right there it's real meaty blue okay not bad bread that's a weird sound and green okay that's a straight piano beautiful so we have percussion bass I think we're really gonna use these three let's see how this works shall we I feel like I need some floors cuz I'm not just putting this on grass what floor should we use here we go here's some floors oh my goodness I forget how big these are Cooper what is that that looks like a speaker maybe we can play our music through that afterwards going white because there is an orange block there we go this is it much better you got my musical grass geez pardon a second we don't need this [Music] much better okay first things first let's do a drum beat thing is how do I get these to activate at the same time I've got that at the beginning can we rotate them we can suite okay that's kind of how you get it to work at the same time I think does this work it does yes oh sweet okay I found a way to make it so these play at the same time it's pretty cool okay now that I've got the snares and stuff in at the beat sounds like this that's not bad right now we need just a tune I guess meet some chords man this takes forever but let me show you what I've got right now trying to craft out like a little bass melody okay that's one off yeah there we go I think I need to change all of these kick drums because they have like a note to them I'm gonna try this yeah that's so much better first loop done here we go [Music] that's it it's done there so we need to make a melody on top of that finish the bassline to discover long nights only taken me 40 minutes I know I said it was done already but now it is done okay here we go [Music] yeah now on to big big sores dude dude dude I think I've got a melody are you ready for it let's go I love that the beginning bit is so sick I need a little bit in this part it seems a bit empty doesn't it [Music] definitely I wonder if I could use this in the middle actually ah such a horrible noise ah I've got an idea okay I might be able to use these so let's try this tonight where else can I put these can I put these even closer you boys running out of space hey the thing is as well you can't change the volumes of these things so you're just gonna have to go with it can you go that far no so you can go three across that ain't so bad you have to go here but that's gonna get real complicated this actually looks like some kind of impressive machine I bet this gonna sound horrible hahaha this sound is disgusting you know what I'm just gonna delete it delete the whole thing this doesn't deserve to be in this song at all I'm trying to add like a debt net net net so this is kind of it I think it's gonna be too much cuz it's the same noise scrap it scrap the idea I've changed something you know why I've done no anyway I want to change up these high hats a little bit let's see if this sounds a little bit better then we'll try some rolls here we go what what do I even do to that so will this work if I if that's like a triple yeah and then here and maybe here as well that's a double I don't know if that's gonna work let's have a listen I think it's out of our time a little bit it's actually a lot easier to do the triples and I thought yeah buddy let's do one more listen I think there's a bit in the middle that sounds a bit off but so far well that's weird lag don't do that please maybe one more here yeah I think that's what's missing it's hard enough figuring it out when you're doing like proper music in a proper music program when you should think of video game that's just kind of added little features it's even harder [Music] I think that was it I think we can add one in here it's important not to do too many but enough to keep the beat interesting I don't think it needs to I don't think it needs it there back so all we have left really is a normal piano do you like a little cheeky melody over the top I'm gonna try it I don't know if it's gonna sound good but I obviously need to fix that last bit but so far sounds pretty lit a couple events ed lit sorry I literally can't get it to sound good no I'm getting so technical now that I'm literally googling piano chords they don't know them off the top of my head embarrassing this could be the secret sauce to the top though if we just add these little notes I literally can't figure out anything to do without the piano because the sounds just don't match very well yeah fixed it another trick in music to make things sound real fat is to add the octave below so so there's a real difference between those so I've added it here the one here and here sound really different they sound a little bit lower yeah that's so much better I'm starting to regret my decision of not using the piano for the chords and then the synth for like a lead but I think I can also use some like open high hats too so this is a very subtle change but [Music] yeah that works way better can we use them on our heads does that work it does do it do it do it edit I keep using that stupid piano get out here you know what be gone be gone goodbye I'm now down to using just two instruments it's a really nice hit makes feel good huh oh oh wait a second I think I've got what I want I think sometimes it's just easier and better to just leave it as it is so this is what we've got here we go then it would just loop again there's one bit here that doesn't sound right though I think I might be this let's take out this that's better but like this would be one more here and one more here once you get the controls down it's actually not too bad but let's see here we go [Music] not bad I honestly don't know where else I could add to this so my final song made in fortnight in one hour and 45 minutes is this ok final final final final final version and then we're done here you write a little fish let's go [Music] that's it that's my song you can bow you can clap if you wish overall I think this is very very cool for them to not only add in music blocks but also have them like two full scales different instruments we need some more instruments though because that red one is pure trash but overall I'm pretty happy obviously I could keep on going on but I've already spent almost two hours on this bad boy and it's only eight
