I Made a Minecraft AI That SAVES You

i made a minecraft ai to save you if you try to hurt yourself in every way possible for those of you dream fans out there this is basically ooga booga but reverse later in this video i also bring in several other youtubers to give it a try and it was hilarious for those of you interested i will release this plugin for you guys along with the manhunt ai the instantly reached 100 000 subscribers we've nearly doubled since the last video so feel free to subscribe if you'd like to help me reach that goal sooner so yeah we're gonna make a minecraft bot that tries to prevent me from killing [Music] myself so the first thing we need to do to create our man safe bot is to make a cool skin for it since this is inspired off of mcburgeon's man's day videos we're going to make sort of a bionic mcbricken and why not take some influence from okabuka's skin so here we have our man safe bot but right now he's kind of dumb because he doesn't really do anything yet so i guess we could start by going through every way someone can die in minecraft this should be pretty easy and oh my let's begin with fall damage in order for us to know when someone's about to take fall damage we'll need to check if the player is falling onto a block yeah you're welcome but in actuality that's really all it is i get the y component of the player's velocity make sure it's negative and make sure that the player is at least four blocks above a block but right now there's still one problem you could take fall damage from the edges and corners of blocks and since you'd be technically in a different column man safe boy over here will water bucket the wrong block like an idiot in order to fix this we'll need to track four points instead of one and always refer to the highest one okay so now everything should work perfectly what oh wait falling is faster than walking so sometimes a man's safe boy might be a bit late to fix that we'll need to use ender pearls because pearls do fall faster oh wait they don't well imma make them fall faster since throwing an ender pearl is projectile motion we can't just have the ai through the pearl in the direction i want to teleport to because the pearl's freaking curve down so we're gonna need to do some vector calculations in order to determine the launch angle given the start and end positions we'll simply use these two kinematics equations substitute t into the second equation for the first rearrange and take the arc tangent after doing epic maths for longer than i'd like to admit we finally have a system to throw pearls at the perfect angle every time just to make it a little bit more annoying to try to jump off clips we're going to make the bot place cobwebs when you get too close to a cliff i did this by creating an octagon of test points around the target measuring the distances between the points and the surface and if enough of them are wide enough you know what happens next boy stop it okay so now we can see that we're officially done with fall damage but the bad news is that we still got like 14 more things to check for luckily fall damage was actually the hardest one by far the remaining damage events can be checked for either by placing blocks destroying blocks or smacking bad boys without any crazy movement calculations now with everything said and done man save boy is complete and now for the moment we've all been waiting for all right horse you can enable him whenever oh [Music] oh oh my god okay dude oh you already targeted it dude that's good he's sacrificing himself watch out make sure he doesn't try to drown under the ice why are you giving him ideas oh no he's dead yes i can still win this what am i supposed to do oh i'm out of here don't let that demon bot get near me dude right next to you oh my gosh oh my god they hit me real quick oh my god oh my gosh wait what there you said no oh my god he's too slow oh my gosh he's speeding up yes wait yeah [Music] [Laughter] please at the same time oh my gosh he's crazy [Music] we should just sit back and watch as usual okay i have time i have time you can do something right this is so unfortunate this is so unfortunate oh my god let's go my gosh dude you guys only won because you got carried by that bye what even is and what's the problem with that yo if you made it here you're an absolute legend that's all i have to say
