[Music] while I finally did it I completed a dream of mine that's existed since about 2007 or so I've been able to try out not only the MSA 380 but also in the first class cabin childhood me probably wouldn't believe that I got the chance to do that but after saving up some Capital One credit card points for almost three whole years I was able to transfer them to my Emirates account and purchased this 16-hour flight to San Francisco for 155 000 skywards points and yeah yeah I know the suite has been covered in probably a million YouTube videos by now but like the people watching this video I've been part of the group that watches almost all of them anyway so I figured adding my two cents on topic wouldn't be a bad thing last note since I truly had to take it all in on this flight the video is a little longer than normal so feel free to use the timestamps and the chapters below to sort through it all and find exactly what you're looking for Emirates calls Terminal 3 home at Dubai's International Airport along with United and Qantas and just before reaching the main check-in area there's a specific area for business and first class check-in for the Airlines based in terminal 3. one thing I will say is that the private premium check-in Wing isn't the most private if you think about the amount of business and first-class seats in each Emirates A380 and triple seven aircraft and multiply that by the sheer amount of flights they have here it does make sense why they have to have so much space but it is bigger than a lot of entire terminals I've seen at other airports in my life in all parts of the airport there is a specific dedicated check-in area for flights going to the USA and Tel Aviv due to requiring an extra level of security and screening to those destinations after checking in and getting my boarding pass however I am able to walk to the back of the terminal where there's a dedicated security for the passengers checking into the business and first class wing after security and immigration what I didn't realize initially is that there are different Pathways to different Gates by default I walked up to the B Gates but there are also trains to this a and seagates the B gates are the ones attached directly to security and house a large number of flights I couldn't quite figure out if there was a pattern of which Gates served which destinations but I saw mostly Middle East and European destinations in the B Gates along with fly Dubai flights but if you're aware of the pattern and how Dubai organizes their flights go ahead and let me know in the comments this large terminal has a ton of shops and a grand feeling to it due to the vaulted ceilings and wide lined hallways in the levels above the main hallway is where we're going to find the Emirates first in business class lounges as well as a Transit Hotel [Music] foreign [Music] we're gonna head upstairs on the escalator to visit the lounges and today we're only going to be visiting the first class lounges but if you are interested in seeing the business class Lounge for Emirates go watch my second flight Dubai video covering the 737 Max 8 and you'll see what that looks like now it's also important to note that Emirates has three sets of lounges here in Dubai one in the a b and c Gates according to the desk employee the B gates are the main and busiest lounges but the a Gates have the biggest and most extravagant ones you will see here though that even in the first class Lounge for the B gate space never really is an issue suspended above the main part of the terminal has endless amounts of space with whatever you'd like to do to kill time [Music] you'll also notice that it has the same amenities almost as the larger Agate Lounge which we will head over to next so stay tuned for that foreign you'll also notice plenty of spaces that offer a place to smoke sleep rest or charge yourself and your devices as long as it isn't right here on this bridge over the main terminal walkway inside the lounge they have different kiosks for different foods like Japanese for example which does have mostly Sushi and different seafood options they have international which includes items from different parts of the world they have a cafe where you can sit down to grab a coffee or a little pastries to go with it a sit-down restaurant which is good for those people who maybe want a more classic dining experience an area known as the health Hub which includes different healthier options and even a wine tasting room which was close to this time but includes a tasting room where you can also purchase bottles of wine what you see here is a bunch of food options laid out for people at the sit-down restaurant what you'll notice is there is a menu for people to order from but there's also some buffet style grab-and-go items if that's more what you're looking for at the sit down restaurant and all that ends with the dessert and cheese sections so another area where you're going to find a good amount of cheese but also some sweet and savory items if you're just looking for a nice dessert to wrap up your meal here foreign something unique about the first class lounges here in Dubai is the ability to board directly from the lounge other than that however I feel that there are a bunch of similarities between the business and first class lounges in the B gate specifically with the main difference being just that the first class Lounge is much less crowded this was not the case for the a-gate lounge however so without further Ado let's go find the a Gates where amongst others flights to America depart from from the B Gates you'll see a number of signs guiding you towards the agates which involves what seems like a million different escalators or elevators and a train while the terminal's main walkway itself in Terminal A may not feel as large as Terminal B part of that reason is because rather than the lounges straddling the floor and giving it a big vaulted ceiling the lounges are the entire floor so if you're in the main walkway it does feel a little bit cramped or claustrophobic but once you're up in the lounges it does make them feel a lot bigger and you will see that shortly upstairs we reach the grandest of the first class lounges starting off with the grand entrance with counters of Staff members welcoming you into this Grand space foreign ERS you'll see that there is signs for gates in each Direction the lounge has two sides with generally the same content on each side so with gate labels you're able to figure out where you should hang out in order to be closer to your boarding gate [Music] there is a map as well to help you navigate this Lounge since it's bigger than some whole airport terminals looking at it you'll notice what I mentioned earlier regarding either side of the lounge having almost the same content the first thing I noticed walking through this Lounge at about 3am is that it was extremely empty not a problem as I could wander without weirding people out as I found that nothing makes people more uncomfortable than cameras in airports the first area that I came across was the business center one of two in this specific Lounge to be specific in here there's a number of computers to get work done as well as a number of areas to conduct meetings either one-on-one or in a bigger group if that's what you need [Music] in addition this room as are most of the rest also comes with an espresso machine for you to drink some coffee while you work just like the other Lounge there are Pathways across the main hallway in some parts but unlike the other Lounge the signage for the gates are located right inside the lounge as opposed to just outside making it easy to assure you are at the right gate come boarding time and at the far end of the lounge is a wonderfully decorated seating area and Buffet it's not the formal sit-down dining which we will take a look at but it does allow for a good place to relax and eat some food with plenty of tables and Outlets the buffet has a great selection of quick grab items this includes first a cooler area of cheese fruits and nuts this is followed by a wonderful focaccia bread including the side of olive oil and vinegar next was a selection of cold entree plates this brought next the machine for hot water for tea coffees and hot chocolates followed by of course the wonderful Arabic coffee and dates lastly was a selection of desserts including a number of pastries and baked goods thank you I decided to set up camp for a while and get a bite to eat while it was still pretty empty and so tables were pretty easy to come by I was able to charge my devices before going to the buffet to grab some food I ended up getting a good assortment of items from the buffet starting with a Caprese platter on which I added some balsamic from the cacha station along with some mushrooms some salmon Pokey with a caper Berry on top some focaccia bread and cheese and grapes all that along with some Arabic coffee and some coffee sweets to go along with it directional signs located around the lounge also helped me find the formal dining area which included a number of sit-down tables I elected not to eat here but it did look nice and even when it got busy there was still plenty of tables open for seating just past that was the counter for requesting a shower which I did take advantage of before hopping on my flight a little further when we find the quiet room for those looking to sleep or relax outside of the main portion of the lounge there are different types of loungers in here all are quiet but have different levels of lighting and privacy rest assured if you do want to sleep you will be able to find the right spot for you [Music] foreign without a place for a smoke and that's what this room is with stained glass windows and wood paneling on the walls continuing our Loop though we find ourselves almost back at the entrance to the lounge but first we pass once more through the duty-free store located within the lounge past the main entrance however and now on to the other side first you'll see another identical duty-free shop after that is another wine tasting and purchasing room just like the one we saw in the B Gates followed by one of the buffet dining options which includes a lot of what we found in the other large Buffet area only that this one is far smaller there is a couple different smaller buffets separate from the large buffets at each end of the lounge unlike the other side this side does also have a kids playroom for little ones to expel their energy before getting on a long flight just past that we reached the other end of the lounge where we find another Grand Buffet area just like the other side with the same food options on this side we also see another check-in desk to register for a shower Suite just past that is another set of quiet rooms and something that I did find fun was back near the entrance there's a wall of newspapers and magazines from around the world so you could take your pick and learn about all kinds of regional news from different places around the world around the lounger boards which show all the flights and Gates they don't tell you the gate until about four hours before departure but I was just given mine so at least I knew which side of the lounge to kill time on next I wanted to indulge in the free spot treatment that was given to first class passengers I went to the map in order to find it where it said it was right behind me however currently behind me was just the duty-free shop after that I decided to explore and try and find it where I walked left and right just seeing signs pointing me back and forth until I finally gave up and asked someone when they finally told me that it was actually located upstairs just outside the business class Lounge once inside they checked my boarding pass to make sure that I was a first class passenger and then I was offered either a 10 minute back or foot massage I chose the back massage and was given one of the more painful deep tissue massages of my life but at least it was free I also could have purchased more services if I wanted to after my spa the sun was fully up and I was able to see the view of the A380 field ramp right outside the windows thank you because of this I decided to get one more light snack before going off to take a shower while I indulged in the views of the ramp and the active runways walking down this super cool hallway I was finally able to reach the shower Suite that I had reserved the shower Suites are actually pretty great size and come with all the amenities that one could need to shower along with charging ports if you do have an electric razor or if you need to use the hair dryer [Music] oh [Music] after my shower however it was finally time to board and it was a real luxury to be able to board straight from the lounge the only issue is that since you're so far from the window you can't get great views of your airplane here you can see ours to the left and to the right is the identical aircraft going to Los Angeles all that while we are suspended above the economy passengers Down Below on that lower level after scanning my boarding pass at the dedicated first class boarding gate it was finally time to board I went down the elevator that connects the lounges to the jet Bridges but going down a floor I was able to reach the level for the upstairs Jet Bridge economy has two jet bridges on the lower level and then since the premium cabins make up the entire Upper Deck the lounges for both first and business class only need to connect the singular Jet Bridge for the upper deck [Music] right about now as I was walking through the jet bridge and got the view of my airplane was when it finally sank in that I was climbing on board the Emirates A380 the airplane that I had always dreamed of but only ever seen in pictures finally I was on board and escorted to my seat my seat today is going to be 2K which is a window seat in the first class cabin and it would be the seat I would call home for the next 16 hours immediately the crew was incredible by far the best I've ever had the Purser came up to introduce himself personally but also a couple of the other flight attendants were very happy to strike up a conversation with me especially when I told them it was my first time flying Emirates and especially Emirates first class Sonia is Unfortunately The Only Name I remember but that's also because she was incredible throughout the flight always assisting me with things and having excellent conversations also taking a picture for me that I was able to post on Instagram thank you [Music] I have to say I was bummed because originally this was scheduled to be in the renovated cabins so I was nervous that this one would feel outdated slightly and while it isn't the newest product the second you get on board it's still a hundred and ten percent stunning with minimal signs of aging throughout every detail on First Impressions I was amazed at the amount of free items that come with the suite from snacks to drinks to amenities and more although I guess it's not technically free because it's definitely built into that ten thousand dollar price tag and now to take a look around this beautiful seat starting behind the seat and working clockwise around the suite the fabric on the walls of The Suite is a comfortable felt over your left shoulders you're going to find a reading light but perhaps the more impressive thing is an individual air vent as well on the left armrest is a small cubby although I couldn't figure out what someone would use that for in addition to that is some basic seat and door presets as well on the other side of the door is your literature pocket where you'll see that there's a spot for the safety card the in-flight magazine the air sickness bag and especially the complementary headphones which were wonderful so you can use those on the flight later next to that is endless space to store all of the luggage you brought on board including a rollerboard carry-on with the luggage there you'll still have so much space that you can fit a smaller human under the counter still it is important to know that there's no overhead bin so all luggage must be stored down here luckily however there is a buckle to keep luggage from moving around once you're in flight back up above the counter there's another reading light but I used it mostly to just illuminate the tray table [Music] below that is a few flowers that were actually real they're always fake so this was definitely a surprise on the counter was a goodie basket with some fun items that make it so you can not go hungry on your flight which is nice on these Ultra Long Haul flights although they gave me so much food that I never even touched these but they were great snacks at work the next week also is the famous drawer with the Emirates notebook and Pen personally I'm just curious how many people use these while they're on board the other set of freebies on the counter which is in addition to the amenity kit which we were given is another set of amenities that can be used mostly to get ready for bed above that is truly the largest Ife screen I have seen in my entire life I mean look at the screen it may not be the perfect measurement but I can fit eight and a half hand widths across the screen which is literally bigger than my bedroom TV at home also along the countertop is your Universal charging port if you're using a computer on the tray table it's actually in a really good spot so you don't have cables going all over you next to that is one of the many storage spaces around the suite I didn't use it because I wasn't quite sure of what would be best for that spot that I wouldn't accidentally leave behind also as a lot of us know the right countertop has the famous mini bar Rising with the push of a button and stocked with water and soft drinks including glasses since drinking out of the can directly couldn't possibly be done by us first class people with the other button we can open up our tray table which just like the TV is the largest tray table I have ever seen on board an airplane there's also a large cubby behind the mini bar that can be opened and has a crazy amount of volume although I didn't end up using it I also didn't really see it until much later in the flight on the right armrest we have the plug for the noise canceling headphones given to us with the suite also the iPad size TV remote that we will look at more later along with the Ife and even though the TV's touchscreen and we have that large remote we also have a normal size remote in the armrest for those who may not want to juggle a larger iPad behind that is another storage cubby which I did use throughout the flight because it's in a nice and convenient location and lastly behind the countertop in the rear corner we see the bedding waiting for us which surprise surprise was also the best bedding I've ever had on an airplane now that I was done fully geeking out over the seat I was brought some Arabic coffee and dates by Sonia which as always was absolutely incredible while waiting for everyone else to board I also wanted to go explore the famously large laboratories on the a380s first class cabins of course Emirates is extra special being the only one with an onboard shower which we will definitely see more of later in addition to the shower there's a large sink Basin with a giant mirror with great soaps and Bulgari colognes also coming with washcloths instead of normal paper towels I do also really like the large panoramic view of Dubai along the walls of the lavatories as well [Music] toilets covered by the same seat material as the rest of the bench but under that is the actual toilet seat cover next to the toilet is a display with the amenities meant mostly for shower time across from the toilet is a large wall of mirror and also a whole lot of extra amenities for use in the restroom mostly to help you freshen up a four or after bed now back in my seat I tried to get a good view of both engines on the wing outside but unfortunately as is the problem with the 747 Upper Deck as well the gap between your window pane and the exterior window pane is so large that you can really only look straight out as opposed to looking at more of an angle foreign about 10 minutes late we pushed back from our gate and taxi to the runway which was made even better by the A380 aircraft cameras which can be viewed on the TV the iPad or the smaller remote we were also chasing out the other California bound A380 to the runway making it a fair and even race to the USA's West Coast I also got a view of my first ever A310 in person which belonged to Iran air tours thank you foreign [Music] [Music] foreign foreign foreign once in the air it was time to dim the windows on the A380 we don't have typical window shades but rather electronically controlled Shades that come in two levels we have the first one that comes in to filter out the direct sunlight and then comes the actual blackout curtain with that said I wanted to try out what has been regarded as the world's best in-flight entertainment system which starts with the best headphones I've used on an airplane in terms of sound quality noise cancellation and comfort level foreign and now for the ice system which stands for information Communications and entertainment and has long been the world's best in-flight entertainment options in the world the large screen is a touch screen but due to how far it is for me I opted to use the iPad remote for controlling the screen the iPad is removable but is locked for taxi takeoff and Landing as you can see with the symbol up at the top right showing it now being unlocked so I'm able to finally remove it and use it in addition to that we also have the smaller remote that can be used supplemental to the larger remote and the touchscreen TV as we fly over the Caspian Sea the first of the Ife categories is information in here you'll find mostly things about your flight including the map flight details and you'll also be able to read about Emirates and the local items and activities as well in addition the last section titled today's flight has a lot of statistics about the flight in addition to that that's also how you're going to access the in-flight cameras and the air show which is basically your moving map the map feature is basically like what you'll find on most Airlines but the style that includes all the different views that you can choose from foreign [Music] next up is the communications section this section includes items such as instructions on how to connect to the in-fly Wi-Fi instructions on the in-seat power instructions on how to use the USB cable in order to listen to your own media and a seat to seat chat which I did not get the chance to use on this flight [Music] the last section of the Ife is the entertainment where they really Shine for example here's a look at the TV shows where you can see that there are five different pages of genres and categories further opening up one of those categories you'll see even more pages of TV shows just going on and on for each category each show with a whole bunch of episodes so you can watch your favorite show for hours makes me wish I had more than 16 hours in this seat for the movies it's more of the same bringing Pages upon pages of genres followed with Pages upon pages of different movies within each genre personally my favorite thing to see is the Harry Potter movies considering if you average them up it's about two and a half per movie which could kill 20 hours of flight time in addition they do also offer a live TV option although I personally prefer being able to pick from the options of on-demand shows that were available if it becomes overwhelming the good thing is that you are able to search for any of the programs within the entertainment system pretty easily alternatively you're able to save things to your favorites making it easier to find them later on I went through the system before departure and favorited all the things I would want to watch which made it much easier once we got up in flight after the ice system other random features on the device include door and seat controls making it easy to control everything in one place as well as a basic remote control with basic functions as well [Music] now when it comes to Wi-Fi Emirates does have pretty good service it's possible to connect for either the whole flight for twenty dollars or 30 minutes for ten dollars so really if you plan to use Wi-Fi it's probably in your best interest to purchase the whole flight we were then handed a menu for the on-demand food and wine the menus had what seemed like Endless Options of food and drink it started off with the drinks due to Flying to so many dry countries they offer a great selection of mocktails much like guitar they also have some wonderful cocktails smoothies and teas including their excellent signature Rose ginger tea the following Pages expanded on the alcoholic offerings as well then came the food options starting with their incredible caviar option which I was excited to try this followed by the different offerings by course starting with breakfast and then lunch and dinner separated by appetizer and Main Course the next page started by discussing the dessert options including both the sweet and savory options the right side is more for quick items throughout the flight if people get hungry between meals the wine menu on the other hand has individual Pages dedicated for red wine white wine and the dessert wines [Music] finally after we were done with the departure phase of our flight it was time to close the very large doors to my Suite I've used a few closed doors now at this point and the Q Suites have high walls but these are just ridiculous it was by far the most private seat I have ever had on an airplane it truly felt like being in my own world these doors can be pulled shut manually but it is easier to use either the buttons on your armrest or on the remote control now the amenity kit came in a couple different pieces in addition to the Bedtime amenities on the counter first we have this Emirates tote bag inside that tote bag was a set of very comfortable moisturizing pajamas that were offered in different sizes along with a set of slippers the actual amenity kit came in a Bulgari bag that looked like it could have been a thousand bucks at a store with a nice leather exterior metal Bulgari logo zipper and carrying strap the interior had a nice fabric lining with a few separate Pockets with elastic which can be used to hold some of the items that were kept inside of it inside the kit were actually fairly normal products for an amenity kit such as a dental kit hair brush tissues razor shaving cream and deodorant but the best items were the ones that came in the Bulgari drawstring bag inside that Bulgari drawstring bag were a cleansing wipe lip balm lotions and the Pista resistance was a large Bulgari cologne while I waited for the meal service I decided to make use of my personal mini bar by drinking a Pepsi in one of the glasses this is when I thought I was seeing someone else from The Suite in front of me that was when I realized that it was just a mirror and my sweet was still private and there wasn't actually another person recording every little thing through the gap after solving that mystery it was meal time starting with a great cup of coffee and a bowl of nuts next with the plate and Cutlery we were handed a Caprese salad sort of dish served up in a wine glass this was all just a preface the part I was most excited for which was the caviar service which was not only served with a pile of the best caviar I've ever had but also came with a number of sides that complemented the savoriness of the caviar all this with one of the bread baskets that they served with each and every meal then came my appetizer for which I ordered the meze platter with plenty of different items and pitas to use to eat all the sides and toppings it was great but because I was starting to get full and I still have my entree coming up I ended up only finishing about half of it I also ordered a wonderful cucumber mint drink to go along with my still water finally the Entre had been served I ordered the bajarat spice beef tenderloin which was cooked better than any beef I've ever had on an airplane and all that on top of roasted chickpeas besides some roasted veggies after dinner they came around with a box of Turkish Delights they were about 20 different choices and because there was too many I couldn't select which ones I wanted so I asked the flight attendant to pick out her favorites and that I would just try those my favorite was the long red one which had a pomegranate type flavor and then we wrapped up our meal with another hot towel after the meal service wrapped up I decided it was a great time to get up and explore a little bit [Music] the first thing that I noticed was that each Suite had a coat closet accessible from the outside as well as being another way to reach items that were on the floor of The Suite on the inside [Music] I also wanted to see what the middle seats were like supposedly according to our flight attendant our flight was full but a two-person reservation missed their connection leaving these two middle seats open you can see that if you're traveling with someone it can be fun when you close both doors and end up with essentially a two-person room to yourselves although the beds do not conjoin like they do on Singapore Airlines another thing that I always enjoy on Double Decker airplanes is checking out the stairway and how decorated it is and personally my favorite is still qatar's A380 stairwell what Emirates does do well is the mini bar at the top of the stairwell which is kept stock with all kinds of snacks and drinks for the whole flight this is separate from the formal bar at the back of the business class cabin which we will check out before this flight is over but then it was time to change into the PJs and they are comfy this shirt pants and slippers were all extremely comfortable and it made lounging out in your seat an even better experience back in my seat I realized that the little lights embedded in the carpet give it a great Ambiance at night I also had endless room for my feet considering that I couldn't reach the end of the suite and there was so much space under the counter you could still fit a whole person under there see then it was time to fully set up for bed using the iPad you can adjust the seat but there are also presets and if you find a comfortable position by adjusting each piece individually you're able to save that setting and recall it later on the wonderful flight attendants were very quick to notice that I was prepping for bed and offered a turn down service to make the bed for me once she was done I had my own of one of the largest beds in the sky not only do they give you a real pillow and comforter that don't even feel like anything I've ever seen on an airplane but the mattress pad was almost a memory foam material that made the bed comfier than my bed at home to make it even better since there's so much space below the counter there is plenty of room for my feet and I never felt cramps sleeping on my back or my side I also observed that like the Asiana A380 first class the ceiling was covered with these little lights designed to look like a starry night sky above you that combined with the lights in the carpet made it seem as if you were floating in the night sky which made it very easy to fall asleep so with that good night for just a minute I'll see you guys soon best part of flights this length is that you really have enough time to get a full night's rest and still have time to take advantage of all that it has to offer although I would still spend days in the seat if I could I decided to try one of their snack options after waking up so I grabbed the menu to take a pic to call for food the flight attendants told me to ring the call button anytime I feel weird pressing it because I was always told not to Growing Up So this may have been my first time actually using that call button and the responsive flight attendants were at my seat in 23 seconds according to my timer [Music] thank you I decided to order a poke Bowl as my snack and as it turns out this flight actually ended up running out of pokeballs according to one of the flight attendants those Californians love their poke bowls what can I say [Music] perhaps the best thing about this meal was that I was given these awesome Emirates branded gold tip chopsticks [Music] another small cabin detail I noticed was that the restroom sign showed which of the three restrooms had showers and which one was just a normal restroom speaking of the restrooms while being in there I realized that there's a full TV screen in there set to the map page so while you're using the bathroom you can keep track of exactly where you are this was also when I realized that while I had been asleep we had flown right over the North Pole another feature in the restroom that I realized was just below the tv there was a small screen to adjust the floor temperature so it could be warmed or cooled especially helpful after my shower when I had a warm floor waiting for me [Music] shortly after departure from Dubai a flight attendant came by to ask when everybody wanted to take their showers I scheduled mine for two hours before arrival they scheduled the shower so they can make sure that they have all the supplies that you need ready for you and to make sure that all eight first-class passengers aren't rushing to the showers right before landing about 30 minutes before my scheduled shower slot I was just sitting around watching TV so I asked the flight attendant if I could take my shower early and she told me to give her five minutes to get it ready shortly thereafter I went in there and she was able to explain exactly how to use that shower basically as long as the bathroom door is locked and the shower door is locked it will be on once they arm the system here you can see the gauge showing how much time you have now it was time for the most once in a lifetime experience in air travel taking a shower on an airplane I flew Q Suites on essentially the same flight length but did not in any way get off feeling 100 fresh and ready to start my day which is just the most incredible thing after sitting on an airplane for 16 hours I went to the shower amenities and grabbed the items I would need and set myself up in the shower you only get five minutes of water so in order to really enjoy the shower you can use the on off button to pause the water while soaping so you can fully use the water you need for five minutes of which you can monitor the time progress on the scale below the water nozzle foreign [Music] hours of sleep a healthy snack and a shower it felt as if I was in my own home and ready to start my day by this point we were finally over the United States and it was time for breakfast I started off breakfast with just a couple plates of assorted fruits well I waited for my main breakfast course I enjoyed the view on my window of the Cascade Mountains of Washington Oregon and Canada to go along with my breakfast I decided to try the Emirates signature tea which I feel like was one of the best teas I have ever had only behind pwgts which are always my favorites for the breakfast main course I chose to go with the overly sugary option like a typical American a french toast with candied pecans and whipped cream on top to be honest it is like a dessert but if they're offering it I can't turn it down it was delicious though I had one last stop before landing and that was the in-flight bar the first class drink counter was cleaned up with Just Flowers and tea but my flight attendant friend Sonia was happy to escort me to the back to the large Lounge at the back of business class back here there are plenty of places to sit around the bar and some counters to stand and enjoy a drink I decided to wrap up my well-rounded breakfast by ordering a Jack and Coke they weren't able to make me that but they could make me a Jameson Pepsi which wasn't quite the same but I wasn't really here for a specific drink really I was just here to enjoy the bar foreign [Music] walk through the one two one business class cabin I got back to my seat and it was time to prepare for landing starting with drawing up the window shades the crew then came around with a pre-arrival box of Turkish Delights one of almost all the different types they had on board all in one box that I took with me and enjoyed later on The Descent Was Made Beautiful by starting over Reno and Lake Tahoe continuing across California to the coast over downtown San Francisco and wrapping back around to land in a rainy SFO all made better with a supplemental view from the cameras mounted on the aircraft as we flew through the freezing conditions however it was interesting watching the lens pick up ice and then the relative wind blowing all that ice away [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign thank you this was probably the saddest Landing of my life since it meant that this once in a lifetime opportunity had come to a close it was a dream about 18 years in the making and so I was just happy that it eventually came to fruition I can honestly say that Emirates first class is a hundred percent worth the hype I would love to try their business and economy classes but I can say that after every video I've watched about Emirates first class and every advertisement that I've been seeing for the last 15 years that actually being able to experience it in person is a whole different experience I know that one of the biggest complaints at this point is that this cabin has become outdated and that the new cabin is much more worth the money well I am impressed with the pictures of the new cabin I don't know if this cabin feels outdated once you're actually there as much as I would love to one day experience the new first class Emirates has rolled out I'm honestly not sure when or if I'll ever be able to experience this type of flight again considering it runs for over ten thousand dollars and it took me so long to save up enough points just to do it once but be sure sure that if I am ever able to get into the new cabin I'll be sure to bring you guys with me in another video in the meantime however I thank each and every one of you for stopping by to enjoy this experience with me and stay posted for a good load of new videos that I have coming up soon as well as always safe travels and I'll see you all next time foreign
