I explored a haunted tomb in VR and I regret it

my mans how's it going got very good news my good friend robert is finally out of prison nice i went they took him down for a selling uh legally selling alligators out of his basement or something i don't know i leave a comment letting robert know that you missed him say wow robert good to have you back sorry you went to prison something like that anyway so we were playing this game and uh you explore an ancient egyptian tomb in vr it's a very spooky monsters around this monster right here it pretends to be one of the people you're playing with yeah and then it just sneaks up on you and kills you i don't want to spoil too much but this is wow this was one of those spooky game we went into this completely blind yeah i didn't look anything up just neither did he she went in and uh yeah here's how that went [Music] okay so we uh started walking up to this uh i guess the entrance was like this just pit in the ground a big dark pit we walked in oh oh you hear that in the cave oh yeah oh that's good i'm gonna flip this lever right and drop the little yellow then it seems we've done trick little look the keep this geiger counter on oh it is dark down yes the dark one oh before we go you want is what is this you didn't see this black ghost no what are you talking about you started it by you you put this thing on fire and it went in okay well let's just get the sword i hear it again had no idea what was going on here so i just uh picked up my torch and you know we kept going kept looking for stuff in this tomb we came up to this uh pit and the first thing i do you throw my torch down there yeah look at this there it goes i'm glad i did that because now uh now i had no torch in the dark tomb you see those spikes on there yeah this game puts traps all over the dungeon they are everywhere there's boulders there's spike pits there's the rooms that you walk into that the spikes shoot out of the ground there's giant like blades that swing from the wall this place it is not safe my man it's not safe at all there's a lot of ways to die down here but the dumbest one of all is walking into a pit full of spikes you can see it's just just don't walk in the pit look at this thing oh that's the obelisk of no enter did you just did you just fall you just okay but after i died i had a there's two doors in front of me i could choose to go back in as a friendly zombie and help robert or i could go back in as a a mummy and hunt him down but here's the thing since we went into this game blind robert had no idea about this twist yeah which one do you think i picked holy crap what was that noise okay i wasn't just some idiot screaming down there there's a voice filter effect so when brawler hears it doesn't sound like the way i just sounded there all right crap what was that noise so for the next like five minutes i was just walking around down there you're making weird sounds like just listen to this sean i'm assuming the only thing i can think of is that it's kind of like phytophobia and you're like walking around is that shawn john is that you shawn are you down there john that's got to be sean i refuse to believe that something else that's got to be you sean johnny down there sean [Music] so you sean sean it's gotta be that's gotta be you right that's that's definitely you sean you're walking like an idiot that's you john that's you john does didn't see the thing coming after no no i just saw you freaking out about something no it was the mummy you know the mummy you lit on fire at the beginning yeah it was that it was that walking at me and it was walking at me like it was you i swear to god that was you no it wasn't how would we go robert i just heard what is that garbage i was like it's got to be here or something because the way it came at me was like that was you it was yeah there was no way i was letting robert know about this my new priority my new priority was to do it to him again [Music] i'm looking at robert's video for the first time [Music] look at the legs [Laughter] look like okay there was no way i was telling robert about that i wanted to uh i wanted to do that to a man a few more times so we went back into the the mine or wherever we were going the tomb of the monkey is what this one is oh yeah hello yeah the big monkey let's get this thing lit what is this like a goat or something like that i see a blue light down there you see that little blue light looks like a um those levers that we pulled in the other oh yeah oh okay slim downstairs okay so this is just like the other place yeah four ways to go yeah so we started exploring and uh we we came to our first trap but this time no problem just a big boulder didn't walk into it let it roll down no problem that's a massive there's gonna be there okay yeah see the boulders come down you gotta watch it there's gonna be like a tripwire or something yeah you lured out wear out the boulder okay we got a spike pit right here something [Music] [Music] look at the big chest over there how do we get across there there's a massive spike fit there [Music] it's gotta be like a secret letter or something yeah we had no idea how to get to that chest so we ended up just leaving and uh exploring more of the two see here's the thing about this game you're supposed to be collecting evidence and figuring out what type of ghost is hunting you so you can get access to a room where you get like some sort of artifact that you escape with we we had no idea what we were doing like look at this i'm just taking random pictures yeah and then right here we're climbing into a sarcophagus or something for some reason i i don't know why we were doing this maybe we thought we could hide from the goat i don't know eventually we got out and just kept going came into this room where look at this like zombies activated or something look at the brazer oh whoa look at that that is that's where we want to go straight ahead try your flashlight in here look at this i was looking good he's gonna like you're gonna try to hit you with his sword or something oh there's another lover right there okay oh it's a okay okay all right torch torches oh there's two of them there's two torch torches oh you laid them on fire on fire that's one we killed him pretty easy and uh just kept moving on eventually we got to this hallway giant swinging blades remember i said there's booby traps yeah here's another one swings around and oh look at this robert got tagged and he uh he died which meant that he now knew my secret so when you die you become a zombie okay robert i know you're in here i chose it too i don't blame you robert reveal yourself robert yeah i can hear you yeah here you come i come on robert show me where the gold is robert okay that uh that was not robert that was that was the thing that's hunting you that's when i realized this game is utterly terrifying when we got back to the lobby i set the uh privacy to open and within like three seconds these two random guys joined hello how's it going how are you drawing hey how's it going hey how's it going oh hello hey hey guys how you guys doing hey hey going on in here i got a question for you guys you guys watch river monsters no i've seen it before though you like it it's like a show about fishing jeremy wade pretty good have you guys do you guys know how to like put your evidence and stuff in uh no we we just keep walking into spike bits yeah okay we played two times in total and died within five minutes so hey these guys knew a lot more than we did i didn't even know that there was an evidence book that you're supposed to like look at this you're supposed to like fill things out there's like a whole walkie-talkie system and there's all these different tools you can buy on the table we didn't know any of this so we just follow these guys inside and uh they showed us how you're supposed to play the game you open up tombs collect gold you go around looking for evidence of ghosts you mark it down in your evidence list until you have enough stuff to figure out what type of thing is haunting you after about like i don't know 10 minutes of walking around the tomb the only evidence we found was uh destruction and you don't you have no idea what it could be if it's just you need to figure out more stuff so we kept walking around looking for more evidence oh look over here i got someone over here don't walk in there don't walk in there whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa what do you mean walk in there there's spikes everywhere oh wow can we make it past though is it like a way to make we don't it past that detector okay we have to get a metal detector after this it's like uh mommy came back alive so that was reanimation our torches kept blowing out which it means disturbed torches i think someone's flashlight went out so we logged uh electronic disturbance that gave us enough evidence to uh i think we just ended up guessing to be honest it was it was between two of them and i can't remember which one it was but we still needed to find this uh like blue lever but you know i'm a man who's very impatient so i said you know what let's just let's split up i'll probably find it quicker we've gone every direction have we gone down there down here whoa ipad over here going this way i'm going everywhere so the blue lever is going to be anywhere that we've been before because they're stuck in here yeah i'll split up and look for this lever if we don't take a terrible idea in three minutes let's be back at the radio okay [Music] oh that thing killed us killed us big time we ended up going in and doing like 10 more of these hunts and not a single time could we ever make it out of this this place alive but there was one round in particular that was this one of the scariest experiences i've ever had playing a game sean can you get that letter real quick the red one this leather yeah yeah i don't see if this gate opens oh it opens oh my gosh guys i can't get it oh there we go gold loves oh scary man tell your lights off oh my god [Music] [Music] okay yeah we're good we're gonna go quick the red light or the lever by the start actually voices voices voices we got voices for everything [Music] i heard water here here nothing in here okay this is a there's it's the blades yeah i went right through it i mean that one yeah mommy that one too a lot of puppies no gold in this one yeah we gotta get out of here have you found more levers nope no no [Music] heard spiders or something oh what is this oh monkey that's the big monkey found some [Music] this way [Music] throw it throw some stuff together oh [Music] nice you got it sounds okay do you want me to open this open this airway all my tools are gone i don't know do
