I Contacted Marcus Rogers and This is What Happened...

hey what's up everybody this is an impromptu interview but as many of you know a couple of weeks ago i put out a video regarding the false prophecies um regarding some of the events that happened in the united states a couple of weeks ago and uh one of the people that i mentioned by name in that video was a young man by the name of marcus rogers and then um say about a week later or so john mccrae from what do you mean and i did a live stream where we further talked about false prophecies and i also mentioned marcus rogers name again but in that live stream i said that i wanted to reach out to marcus rogers and i wanted to try to forge a relationship and i wanted to be a man of my word and so i want to tell you a little bit about my conversation or my attempt to reach out to brother rogers now essentially when we talk about marcus rogers and there's a lesson here i think that we can all learn uh from this but really i had two choices choice number one was to jump on the bandwagon and bash this brother and put him down and drag his name through the mud and let me just say from somebody who has been down at some point in my life from somebody who uh has made mistakes in my life and i've been ostracized i've been talked about i've i've had people you know drag my name in the mud for different things it doesn't feel very good right so i had that choice i could have just been like hey you know what this brother is a false prophet he's no good god doesn't have a plan for his life and all of these things or i could have reached out to the brother and really tried to form a relationship with him essentially what i want you to get from this video is this i could have built a bridge towards him or i could have built a barrier towards him and i want to draw your attention to something in the scriptures that i really really want us to all get and that's in acts chapter 9. so you may recall that the apostle paul had a history a past of persecuting christians persecuting the church and so after he had his damascus road experience where jesus basically became the lord of his life he had trouble trying to integrate himself into the christian culture i want you to read about it it says here when he speaking of paul came to jerusalem he tried to join the disciples but they were all afraid of him not believing that he really was a disciple so you can imagine here's the apostle paul who wrote more than half of the new testament had this conversion experience he tries to come in and say hey guys yo what's up man i'm paul the apostle i want to hang out with you guys i want to be in the in crowd and they were like nah bruh i'm sorry man look we heard about you we know about you we've seen you right we've seen you persecute church the church and persecute christians like we don't want to have anything to do with you we're going to build a barrier towards you paul but i want you to notice there was one man who believed in paul and his name is barnabas look at the next verse but barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles he told them how saul on his journey had seen the lord and that the lord had spoken to him and how in damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of jesus so do you see this here's paul being ostracized because of his past because of mistakes that he's made by church people people in the church but barnabas believed in paul barnabas saw the best in paul barnabas hoped that paul was going to be all that god had called him to be and so because of that barnabas took paul alongside and said hey i want to introduce you to the church i want to introduce you to the disciples barnabas decided to build a bridge towards paul when everybody else was trying to build a barrier towards paul and that's all i'm trying to say y'all is listen i am in the process right now of building a bridge towards brother marcus rogers you'll be happy to know that we have exchanged phone numbers we've exchanged text messages those text messages have been positive and this brother is receptive to my presence in his life as far as i can see so my main point is this you and i are going to meet people every single day and we may not agree with them we may not see eye to eye on them we may have concerns about them and by the way let the records show i still have my concerns about brother marcus rogers and some of his past videos hopefully we'll see some differences coming in the future but all of us are going to meet people where we're going to have those those feelings right like i don't know of this person and you're going to have to make a choice the same choice that i had are you going to build a barrier towards this person shun them talk about them push them out of your life ostracize them ignore them or would you do what jesus would do and instead of building a barrier you build a bridge towards this person and try to forge a relationship with them and maybe just maybe allow the lord jesus to supernaturally use you to make a difference in somebody's life so that's my word for you all today um i'm probably not going to make too many more videos about marcus rogers because at this point it's between he and i in terms of the relationship that we build but i just wanted to come on here and say listen you can build bridges towards people you don't have to bridge you don't have to build barriers towards them so thank you all so much i hope you got a little bit out of that and um brother marcus if you see this just know that i love you brother i'm praying for you and i'm here you got my number and um let's forge a relationship man and uh let's get to know each other and iron sharpens iron and brother i love you in christ and i pray that as we uh develop this report in this
