I Closed Half of Yoshi's Tropical Island (Mario Party Superstars)

today we play yoshi's tropical island in mario party superstars but half of the island is closed so we can't access it the right half of this island is currently under construction you have to stay on this side of the island that is correct you can't use these gloves to get to the second island either do you promise to stay on this half of the island in that case we'll decide [Music] and the star being on the right island is going to be very interesting oh wait what if someone gets a gold pipe and teleports you straight to the store what would happen if someone teleported to the clothes island with a golden pipe and toad has got a fantastic question here and i hope that we do see that in this video so peach starts off one thousand plus away from the star but she rolls just to one okay so the start is already coming back to the left island but if someone lands on another event space the star is going to move back to the right island so right now it's good for us that this star is there but now the others can also purchase stars so let's see what's going to happen here luigi lands on a lucky space in front of the lucky space he gets seven coins okay very good for him he's up in first place now and what about us give me a humongous roll a three that's not very humongous but we do get three coins for landing here luigi okay and he also rolls a one all right so if there's a bonus star for most event spaces peach and waluigi they've already landed on one event space each and it looks like toadette is back to the right island right now and we didn't even get to see that you're not allowed to use the swamps yet you're actually not allowed to use the thwomp you guys have to see what happens okay but our mini game is snowball summit hopefully we can do all right over here okay great because you know what luigi did get plus seven coins from the lucky space so it's good that everyone else is getting points now it's more balanced and i'm in first place all right peach please go ahead and roll one thousand plus to the star rolls in eight and look at this she just heads up you don't even have an option to use the thwomp luigi 1000 plus to the star rolls a six oh a bowser space though uh oh uh oh what's it gonna be bowser mini game okay so if we don't do well enough then we lose coins this is a little scary okay it's this one we have a chance we don't have a hundred percent chance of surviving but if we can survive this mini game that'd be great let's see let's see okay goodbye peach who's next where are we going next where are we going next where are we going master cpu right now the others are hard cpus so unfortunately for them they lose 10 coins each okay but hopefully i can show you guys this okay so one thousand plus away from the star we roll a five so look at this i'm not touching the controller we just run right through there we don't even have an option of going to the right over there we are just forced to stay on the left island everyone is forced to stay on the left island except for toadette i guess toadette and bowser they swap back and forth when someone lands on an event space okay and waluigi is continuing on with these low rolls over here so far he's rolled up one every single turn of the game oh blender chest that can be very very scary oh no okay there's everyone versus luigi in this mini game and he has the hardest difficulty cpu so this might be scary quicksand cash okay nice it is a cash mini game so there goes bowser jr going for the coin but then he gets sucked in okay so the more money we get the better oh boy i would have loved to get that one get those yeah there we go get that one bro good job bro what's next yeah good job getting that money back bro okay wait wait let's split up good good good okay we want to stay as split up as possible get that broke good job bro man well luigi's really being a good bro over here get that one peach yes bro good job and give me that one nope nope no no that's too far i'm sorry oh boy okay at least i got that one let's see okay not bad we get 32 coins each luigi gets only seven we dominated pretty badly over here that's a lot of very nice coins for us luigi's supposed to be the hardest difficulty cpu but he's been pretty unlucky so far okay peach are you gonna buy something nice at the shop now okay you're rolling just a one you know what it's almost like everyone's rolling low on purpose because we could only stay on half the island so we don't have to travel as far what is this two people rolling up one in a row i better not also roll a one don't give me one i want a big number okay uh not much bigger but okay great and a bowser space well you know there might be a bonus there for most bowser spaces so that's actually maybe all right okay what can it be don't be bowser revolution don't be give half your coins either let's see what is it that's the revolution oh great oh great that means everyone's coins are going to be evenly distributed now luigi's very happy about that i'm the richest character right now so that's the worst for me because i lose the most coins and luigi's the poorest so that benefits him the most well we all have 40 something points you have 43 coins not that big of a deal and waluigi gets a three what's going on the first two people rolled ones and then the second two people rolled threes we're seeing a lot of really low numbers this board i'm kind of surprised okay now it's going to be everyone versus me in this mini game one versus three if i could win this that'd be great look away oh boy oh boy it's gonna be a tough one oh no i didn't get anybody okay oh man i was trying to fake right to make them look somewhere else oh man i was too slow i was too slow i wanted to at the very last second try and catch them oh man this is not good [Music] no no they looked away oh no okay now it's gonna be very very difficult if we want to win this we're gonna have to catch multiple people together i should have looked down okay now the only way i can win is if i get them all together so far i've got nobody literally nobody the cpus are way too good oh that's so sad and that actually puts us into dead last place now man we went from first place to last place very quickly over here all right what are you guys doing now 14 from the star rolling up four okay but at least you're passing by the shop are you finally buying something yes 12 coins on a custom dice block for princess peach and from the lucky space she gets a warp block that'll be kind of funny it'd be kind of funny using a warp vlog since everyone's on the left island but there might be some very good times to use that like right after you pass by the star is a perfect time to use the warp block and luigi gets a custom dice block and it'd be funny if he also got a warp block he's like he's just copying princess peach exactly he gets an item back okay so he gets two more items let's see that's actually pretty great look i'm the only one that doesn't have any items at all right now okay another custom dice book and i think his other item is a mushroom right yeah that's some great stuff for luigi luigi's in an amazing position right now okay let's roll a three what's with these tiny tiny rules i'm actually gonna go for a double dice block instead of a custom dice block because maybe we could get a nice big number because there aren't that many spaces on the board since we're all stuck on the left island so let's see what happens we get a warp block okay nice nice nice i actually don't mind getting a warp block here since it's the left island only otherwise i wouldn't care too much for it but that's actually all right okay the cursed ice block is used on luigi but he has three items that could cancel out the effect of that so that doesn't matter too much okay this guy rolls a three oh man that means that this star is going back to the right island so luigi's actually probably very happy right now that he has the cursed ice block active on him my goodness okay and we have a four player minigame what is the mini game going to be maybe another coin mini game ah not paris i'll plug it that's too bad okay let's focus on luigi first since luigi is the hardest cpu he is the one that i am the most scared okay so let's see oh that isn't luigi okay but we did get a hit so that's done the game this game is going so incredibly quickly and it's kind of funny that the game says 1000 plus away from the star when you can't reach this star because yeah right now it's impossible for us to reach the star no matter where we go okay and peach passes by bowser over here loses some coins and gets nothing in return for that but she is going to be landing on a blue space over here hidden block maybe or no no hidden block that's good okay luigi you probably want to just roll normally why in the world would you use your mushroom that is a very very silly thing to do maybe luigi's like i'm a 1000 away from the start i need to get a big number if i want to reach that okay but luigi pays 13 coins to bowser over here and he gets a cursed ice block back okay and you know what i'm actually kind of surprised that there are no stars in the game yet okay but luigi gets 10 points for passing by there he possibly gets another item let's see a customizable does he throw away his cursed ice block for that or does he keep it yeah he throws away his curse nice block he has three custom dice blocks okay i guess i'll just roll normally this turn okay and we get just the one very nice amazing what is with these tiny rolls today okay and what do we get we get another wart block okay and what about waluigi he's still not using his chest saving his chest maybe he's waiting for someone to use a gold pipe but wait a minute i think this means that i currently have the lowest rolls possible yeah because waluigi is ahead of me so if there's bonus stuff at least space is traveled right now that would go to me okay we've got a bonus mini game everyone versus the master cpu two bit or losing oh boy and this is such a such a very very very very scary one we want to not get popped go what if i just go like this so that's 20 coins for luigi that puts him into first place we are in third place going into the final five turns over here so who's going to be given a gift it might was me give me a gold pipe a boo bell oh man okay let's throw away a warp block of course but you know what oh man i kind of want to save my bluebell for when we can steal a star because that would be amazing if we could steal a star but if i don't use the blue bell right away then oh and peach is using that in literally the perfect spot yeah and great she swaps with me but yeah if i don't use the blue bell then maybe waluigi will steal it that's something that i have to be careful of let's see where's peach going okay she's right before bowser hey what about luigi custom dice block what do you want to roll he really wants it to i guess that's a lucky space yeah it brings him to a lucky space okay and he gets a cursed dice block you know what i think stealing coins right now might be a good idea i really wish that i could save this and steal a star later on possibly okay i'm stealing from luigi though because i am a bit worried about waluigi in his plunder chest i don't want him using his plunder chest and stealing my bluebell that'd be very sad okay how many coins do we get 12. okay that's all right not a bad turn that actually put us into first place okay and we roll a three what is with these threes that we keep rolling what is going on over here okay but we get ten more coins from the lucky space if we get a two next turn then we can pass by the koopa troopa i just want to pass by the shop and buy a gold pike now okay and he is using his plunder chest this turn but he's stealing a custom dice block from princess peach and what does he roll he rolls a 10 wait that means he probably passes by bowser right is he reaching me he's not reaching me is he oh my goodness paying 20 coins for a cursed ice block not a very good deal in my opinion and where is he going okay he does land on the versus space he's right behind me all right let's see how many coins are we gonna put in just 10 points okay not a big deal but if we do win that would be very nice [Music] and the game is the final countdown this is going to be an absolutely terrifying one especially with how difficult these cpus are okay let's see where are you guys going get me away from you get me out of 18 each so waluigi's kind of broke right now okay and what is our mini game now ice rink rinse i don't know if i could win this one you know we started off this game great but it just keeps getting some minigames very nice okay we are in a nice first place lead over here but i don't know if we can maintain this that's this scary thing okay only four turns are left you know what i might use my double dice block this turn okay peach gets a seven does anyone have anything scary okay nobody has a warp block so you know what i'm just going to start heading towards the shop i want to buy a gold pipe if we can access the star on the right half of the island with the gold pipe that'd be great because i'd love to show that in a video hey luigi please go ahead whatever you'd like to do please do it customize are you going to roll the one or something else he wants a two again what is going on this is such a strange game it's almost like the cpus are confused with what's going on okay so we will use a double dice block i'd love to reach the shop bring me to the shop seven seven double sevens all right nice so you get an extra ten coins that's pretty cool and we also get ten coins for passing by the koopa troopa over here we are getting a lot of coins right over 100 coins already this is pretty good okay and we just head by here oh my goodness we just reached this shop okay and i'm of course buying a gold pipe over here there we go oh my goodness that was quite the lucky turn we got the we got an extra 10 coins because both numbers were the same we got 10 points for passing by the koopa troopa we just reached the shop we reached just far enough to get it and we got a gold pipe now how's waluigi you can afford another startup well not another star you can afford a star oh he lands on the event space so okay that means that the star is back on the left island so i'm not going to use my gold pipe yet if the gold pipe switches to the right island when it's my turn then i will use the gold pipe otherwise i'm going to wait because i want to show you guys what happens if we use the gold pipe to access the closed island flash forward oh great yeah there's no way we're winning this one the cpus are just absolute masters at this they're just absolute masters at being there right at the end they're so good at timing give me that am i in second is peach in first let's could do over here but i've got to do it okay there's about a one in nine chance of this happening first of all i need to swap with luigi otherwise my plan is ruined okay my plan is red i was hoping to swap with luigi and then i could roll a number that would um make me reach the star but now that plan's impossible okay great and we avoid another lucky space okay well luigi go ahead you're 10 from the start oh wait wait uh but that doesn't matter yeah i was thinking if you had enough coins then he could have rolled the 10 then he could have used the gold pipe next to her oh looks like he wants to maybe do a luigi though waluigi versus luigi okay and he's risking all of his coins against the master cpu who's going to win this let's see yeah and he does lose his coins he picked a fight with luigi but luigi won and he has 69 coins left now okay what's our mini game hot rope jump oh my goodness there are so many difficult mini games today okay at least we are on the inside oh man i can't reach the star it would make sense to use the gold pipe just so that you have another item used and there might be a bonus star for most items okay he rolled a nine is that going to bring him to an event space maybe if it does that's amazing because then i'd get to show you guys what happens if you use a gold pipe to reach the star on the right island if not then i'll just put a clip of it on screen okay he's up to 69 coins now after getting some points from that koopa troopa but yeah thwomp stole his half okay nice so he finishes with 69 points okay so i do have to use the gold pipe here okay so i'll show you guys on screen what happens if you use the gold pipe to go to the right island what ends up happening is after you get the star you just immediately come back to the left island so it looks like on this board that we are playing over here the right island really was closed like nobody went over to the right island for anything even though there were some opportunities to make it over to the right island like it could have been possible if someone landed on an event space and then use a gold pipe but let's see what happens to us okay so we get 10 coins from the lucky space over here that's quite nice so i am in first place but it all comes down to the bonus stars now if our bad luck continues okay and uh this guy really wants a six for some reason if our bad luck continues oh great okay well he only has six points even if we lose the duel it's not that big of a deal yeah if our bad luck continues then luigi will probably win more bonus stars than us and he'll win the game otherwise hopefully we can have some good luck and we can win okay let's see what kind of duel are we having okay we're having the space dual hopefully we can do all right here let's see let's go down oh man i was watching him i'm like is he just gonna go right into it what's going on hey but we're all right we're doing all right here squeeze up there squeeze down there squeeze up here nice go a bit down there go up there go hard down come up here uh where do i go there squeeze in bro good job and if we can get through here if we can get through here yeah we hit nothing at all so that means that we win the race very nice i was sure that waluigi would go into that first one like why is he getting so close to it what is going on okay at least that was a very nice duel win at the end and let's see what are you getting now bro from the lucky space too bad that he couldn't use his gold pipe that's actually so sad for waluigi he spent all those coins on a gold pipe he actually would have been able to buy a star if he didn't buy that gold pipe because he would have been passing by toadette there can our mini game is pushy penguins i would have loved for it to be pokey pummel so i get a shot at redemption okay so let's just be careful let's not get pushed off by these pushy penguins over here let's see where can we break through okay we can break through like this oh and you know what the big penguins have very strange hitboxes sometimes the way that you could squeeze through them oh did someone fall there wait did luigi fall first yeah luigi's in fourth place right now it looks like hey let's see where are we going though where are we going there we go okay easy easy mini game very nice victory for us now hopefully our luck can continue over here please tell me that we can get some of these bonus stars what's the first bonus star rich bonus okay that's probably going to us let's see that's that's almost definitely mario yes thank you thank you thank you so much thank you for giving me that luck and what's the second bonus bowser space bonus okay luigi landed on one did i also land on one is it mario and luigi get the bonus stars luigi and mario okay very nice so the mario brothers are the only people with stars on this board so waluigi's actually in last place hard cpu hard cpu peaches third and then luigi's going to get eaten up goodbye luigi [Applause] thank goodness for that luck at the end oh man wow even with the double dice book that we rolled double sevens we still only had 42 total spaces traveled i really recommend
