I built the perfect 100 Baby Challenge house in The Sims 4

so tomorrow on twitch i'm going to attempt to speed run the 100 baby challenge i plan on streaming for like 12 hours tomorrow and i will not finish it in fact i'll probably do a really bad job and have like 10 babies but i'm gonna try my hardest to be successful so i want to like set myself up to win and there's this kind of sneaky work around you can do with tiny homes in the sims because as many of you know tiny houses especially micro homes are like kind of op you get like double relationship gain double skill gain your sims are always happy there's just so many perks to living in a tiny house like your crops even grow twice as fast so you have this chance to make a lot of money and be really successful in the sims but obviously it's hard to have eight sims in your household all living in a tiny house but there's a way we can sneak around that and i'm gonna do it so basically when you set your lot as a tiny home you have 32 tiles and that's what counts as a micro home that is not a lot of tiles to have eight sims living in like you could totally have one regular sim just like one adult live here that would be perfectly fine but to live with eight sims in this not so feasible however you can make fake rooms and build fake houses and that works just fine so if you look at this that's a fake room the game doesn't see it as a room it doesn't count as any tiles but if i wanted to i could still put a roof on this and i could still live in there it's kind of glitchy with lighting and stuff but this is the workaround this is the cheat this is how you make a fake tiny house that the game thinks is tiny so you still get all the perks but it's not actually that small so i want to make a tiny 100 baby challenge starter home i've done this before but it was kind of ugly so i'm going to try again we're going to do a do-over i'm just going to grab a random sim so that i can set my budget oh the vampire aspiration sometimes i click on things and i'm like why did i pick that one of all the things i could have picked i picked that one oh that's unpleasant weather that's for sure no i'm gonna give this guy i think like 18 000 simoleons feels like a good place to start and we're gonna try to make a house that has all of the things that are necessary so what's our list i think number one we need lots of beds double bed for mom probably like five or six single beds for the children two or three toddler beds space for at least three bassinets skill building items for everybody i'm thinking like a tv we need a big table so they can do their homework i mean we've got a lot of things to cover with this house i want like an inspo pick just because it's a sneaky work around cheat doesn't mean it has to be ugly it does have to be one story though we can't do two stories it won't work okay like look at this house right this is doable and there's not a huge foundation either let's make this one okay well at least something similar to it it's not gonna be the same i wonder what the floor plan is gonna look like i feel like with this kind of house you probably shouldn't build it based on a reference picture like you should probably build it based on the floor plan okay what if we like build the whole house and then do our sneaky tricks to make it smaller but we build the house first oh i think it needs to be wider than this okay i guess it can be fully across the whole lot right and then there's going to be like a fake porch this is going to be so interesting to try and furnish no it's fine it's going to look really good i'm not even worried about it you shouldn't be there but like that's kind of what i'm thinking right i kind of wish it was a little bit longer this is ridiculous we haven't even started the hard part yet like the hard part is gonna be us trying to figure out how to make this into fake rooms we're still too busy over here making real rooms oh you know what i just realized this is a starter home we gotta be careful with money i wasn't even thinking about that oh no oh oh right this is a starter home yeah okay i'm gonna figure out the back afterward i just i want to do the floor plan first and then we can sort out the back okay so what if it ends up looking kind of like this this is like the toddler room this could be the kids room and we could always make this one a little bit bigger we don't have much money left i need to be careful four beds four is probably not enough oh dear this is why i should have built it from the floor plan okay that could be an interesting layout that would probably work and then the toddler room would be this one i mean you could also probably get away with just having the four beds for now and that could be a bathroom this is gonna be ridiculous oh okay now i'm faking it here it begins okay so i'm thinking that perhaps that becomes the parents room mom's room there's an extra bathroom there at the front we have kitchen living room here dining table like this this will work this layout will work and then the bassinets will go in the mom's room that's fine i might make the kitchen smaller we might need to um lessen up a little bit door is expensive what other front doors could we use that are like less expensive oh that one's kind of cute we could use a little door and that's only what 50. okay maybe we put the same door off the kitchen okay let's leave it at that for now because i don't want to spend too much money on windows now we got to fake the walls so what we have to do is delete the main floor and then you put the fake wall back now do you see why this is a problem because then the lighting gets really weird why does it look like that oh no do we have to scrap this idea why why that's so mean is it all gonna look like that come on don't be ugly don't be ugly oh that one this one's fine the lighting on the walls is fine why is this wall glitch do we need to fake it because i'll fake it i don't mind and then like what wood floors do we pick oh those look acceptable actually something about that is like not that bothersome supposed to be a lot more yellowy than that but it doesn't look too bad okay i mean look at what it's supposed to look like different but not my problem see it's only 37 tiles right now i wonder if maybe we'll be able to make this into a room somehow like maybe we could cheat it i don't know oh i wonder if we could i wonder if swapping this would be beneficial to us look i wonder if maybe the kitchen being here because it's smaller stick the dining table back here the living room can go here instead that might work out better we can always like move it around i'm just trying to think of ways that we can save like the bathrooms do not need to be real rooms it's only 20 tiles we successfully managed to cheat the system and now it's zero tiles okay so do you see how like this it's like shadowed that's why the flooring is looking weird because it's got this weird shadow on it because the lighting is glitching in these rooms because it thinks the floors are outside when obviously they're technically inside but not maybe the brown tile would be best that color that like weird muted icky color reminds me of the sims 3. and i mean that in the absolute nicest way possible it reminds me of the sims 3. yeah what if we did it like that that's only two tiles we have to play more tiles but i wonder what if the bathrooms were the only real rooms cause then the tile wouldn't look weird in the bathrooms the things that we will do for these rooms to not look funky oh what if there was like a brick floor in the entryway that's very trendy you must admit i don't know i'm just trying to think of ways to make this easier we don't have a lot of money left i'm gonna end up spending all my money making the outside look nice and that defeats the whole purpose of this build the entire purpose is to make sure we have a nice baby challenge house to make the game easier let's start by putting all the necessities in the house like we need a bathtub that's a necessity and then ideally we can go from here and start adding more decorations i'm gonna put two toddler potties because i found that it's very helpful to like potty train them both at once if you have two toddlers i don't know what color scheme i want but we'll figure that out okay we appear to be experiencing some slight money problems it seems i have spent a little bit too much money on the exterior of this house i only have four thousands of millions left it's just because the house is big there's a lot of money on walls and like this this is a 34 simoleon fence i can get a cheaper fence but i like it there save 27 simoleons see like that is necessary we need a computer toddler beds are expensive this is terrible okay we need that thing we need that thing in my experience a toddler slide is a very very useful item to have access to i've played a lot of the 100 baby challenge and let me tell you them being able to work on all of their skills is very useful how much do doll houses cost perhaps that one's only 125 oh this one's only 170. we can get this dollhouse at least the children will be able to use these things too where am i going to scrounge up money from for this what have i done i haven't even painted the walls yet i guess what if okay i made that into a room by accident but we'll be able to fix it it's fine we make i don't that's not gonna be functional if i make the budget twenty thousand simoleons then my house will actually be finished and i want my house to be finished okay parents rooms done okay okay maybe that's better smaller table less chairs that works that's fine but then there's this extra space that i don't know what to do with maybe i'll paint the outside of my house i really want to use probably way too expensive wall coverings all right i'm gonna admit it oh no that's probably painting the inside walls oh god this is gonna be so expensive i want some sort of cheap brick no not that kind the house in the picture has stone but stone is expensive and that's not that pretty oh i don't know i don't know how i feel about it oh this stone's only two smallians this house is like darker than i wanted it to be this isn't what i was going for it started off so like cheery this isn't right this isn't gonna work that's better and then we can use a bright door this is just so ridiculous i'm spending so much time on it and it's like not even gonna be good no toilet paper just for the record we cannot afford toilet paper it is not gonna happen we also can't really afford like rugs in the bathroom or anything like i was gonna put them but it's not gonna happen i'm using the cheapest beds now why does this wallpaper look like animal crossing i have never noticed that before 750 simoleons left how can we make this work i think we really need to have like some more decorative objects i'm going to look at the eco lifestyle stuff because a lot of it is really cheap think like a 65 simoleon shelf you know like that would be good for us then we can feel like we have furniture which i think we need oh that kind of works there's more color that's 300 this one is oh okay the desk and the table are the same price why don't they have like cheaper ones why don't we have tables that are big and cheap well that was only 290. this one's only 240. i like the island but can't afford it that's the kind of thing you can invest in if you have a little bit more money later on it's not in the budget right now outdoor light okay we need to think about like skill building and money we need to figure out what the goal is here because initially i was thinking we were gonna have my sim be a painter okay i moved a lot forward one tile but um i'm not i'm just gonna go back it deleted my walls so i'm just not gonna deal with it anymore i'm trying to figure out like i think that gardening is a good idea for us so i put some garden pots what let's do the landscaping we're getting some debug landscaping what kind of trees do you want to use cause like there are lots of options some a little bit bolder than others i think this tree would be a nice a nice one try not to clip though yeah let's use this tree and we'll get we'll get a few of them yes okay i want our backyard to look really nice and like cozy if that's even possible because we only have 500 simoleons left i still need to buy a trash can don't let me forget but at least the landscaping is free because we're doing debug landscaping so we have time i'm slowly but surely filling it out the back of the house is ugly i wish that we could get some columns i don't know i just want to like finish it but we can't at least the landscaping looks pretty at least it's like nice and luscious if we can't have a finished house at least we can have some nice finished landscaping because it's free and we're cheating i'm gonna use the cheapest trash can i need to um save myself some money i'm gonna get the cheap one i don't know about this i think it's a little bit extreme what i've done here that's my cat she's playing with her toy if you hear any weird noises it's because she's playing with it and we gotta show off over here okay i put terrain paint underneath the plants i also put a little flamingo in the front yard because it was free and in debug so i was like yeah let's use a flamingo alright what else can we do we have 400 simoleons left to figure out something else 350 you cost 350. you don't even have an interior trash can there's not even a trash can inside this table's only 45 so i'm gonna use it because then ideally we could get there's gotta be some sort of decoration we can afford this is only 20. this is so sad i would do anything to be able to afford like slightly more how about no patio light cause that's 110 simoleons i want something like in the kitchen so badly just just something in the kitchen there are not enough skill items in this house like there's there's toys but there's not enough things for teens to do i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i just i deleted the i deleted the walls around the door to try and save some money look at the difference between what the floor looks like when it's in that's the same swatch oh my god okay like what if there was like tile underneath the front door that's not that unusual to be honest with you like people do that can i stick the easel in the mom's room although there's there's not space for the oh wait what if we swapped it so that the desk was in the hall i feel like that uses the space better and then we tried to get the easel in here because like there could be bassinets i don't know like there lined up there you know we can just leave the mom's room like that and then i have 400 million that's enough to afford a couple more things for the kids to do like can i afford an instrument oh a crafted violin is only 125. a regular violin is 425 but that's an easy like skill oh my god is that worth it it's an easy skill so like a teen could use the computer to build a skill the kids can play with toys to build skills and ideally like by the time you would get to the point where you have teens you'd have a little bit more money to buy more skill things for them so the the parents can make money with the growing and the painting you don't need the planter boxes but i put them there for like decoration because you could just plant things on the ground and that would be cheaper but at least this way there's like stuff outside you know what it's good 1999 that's my birth year 19999 was not my birth year you know what i mean i think there might be some glitches with this with like heating so you might need to grab a thermostat too but that you can you can figure that out or you could like live in oasis springs so it's not snowy but i think on that note we figured something out the house is not that bad looking i'm kind of sad that this nice house
