I BUILT MY DREAM STUDIO!! *its absolutely perfect* | HOME STUDIO TOUR

ooh today's going to be a good one today we're going to turn this room my studio to this look at it it's awesome oh and i said today but this took way longer than a day this took like weeks it's done i want to show you guys the process let's go so as you can probably tell from the state of the room we already did a little bit of work we came here yesterday we emptied out the entire room all the music stuff literally everything that was in here is now sitting right outside in the garage i actually had shot some like really cool clips of us taking stuff out it was pretty cinematic there were some like nice moments with my dad but because i'm a really smart person i deleted my sd card yesterday so they're all gone forever you're gonna have to take my word for it i'm just gonna tell you about it that it's all into this room it's like there's so much reverb in here we realized that all these spots right here and there's a bunch of them all around the room uh the wall was kind of like crumbling it was like coming off the actual like bricks we decided to just rebuild it make it all like smooth and ready to be painted on which is where we're at right now so today day two we're gonna paint the entire room i'm excited first things first i need a different t-shirt this is one of the good ones it's a little better [Music] dude shout out to my uncle for helping me today look at his outfit that is the best outfit [Music] this color is so cool [Music] today is floored [Music] it's 6 49 6 50 p.m we are almost done but we're still going we're almost done there's just like a little piece right here we're gonna try to finish it tonight no matter like if we have to work until midnight we'll work until midnight but i don't think so we're almost done here let me show you all of this is done we just have that little piece right there okay so the floor is basically done we just have that little piece right there shout out to my dad that's been working on the floor with me for like two days um since i have some extra time let's try to build this guy so it's actually the next day last night i wanted to build the first one of these little drawers i finished it forgot to record it but the good news is i have a whole other one so let's do it [Music] i don't know if i'm the only one but there's something like really like almost therapeutic about building ikea furniture i don't know what it is it's just really satisfying all right the only thing that's left is the drawers it's almost done so right now it's still pretty empty except for the table i'm gonna go ahead and fill it all up with as much stuff as i can there's still some details to do like there's some plugs here that we're gonna like build a thing to cover them up there's just some things missing like structural things but for the most part we're done this looks sick this looks insane i love it all right i'm gonna go ahead and fill it all up i'm gonna teleport us to like a couple days from now and i will give you like the full tour of all the different sections all the different parts i'm so stoked cut to drone footage it's done here check this out one more time one more time so good well it's done or it's not as it's gonna get for now obviously over time i'm gonna do a little improvements it's never going to be truly done but it's as done as we can get for right now i swear to god you can see like my hair grew everything it's been forever it's been like two months in a second i'm going to take you guys on a pretty in-depth store everything in here as a function the room is not huge so i wanted to pack every corner every single inch with something with some meaning with some usefulness with some functionalities something that i haven't talked about yet and so many of you guys already asked me whenever i posted snippets on instagram or anything like that is how much money did you spend to get this room to like to redo your studio the answer to that is very very little i think i spent like 1500 tops i didn't really buy any new gear so everything is what i already had i just bought that monitor right there we're gonna get to it i bought some like about the flooring about the paint about like the supplies to build it but i didn't really spend that much money at all speaking of money and gear i got a perfect segue into something cool for you guys so cymatics is just one thing that i wanted to tell you guys which is the function of this room before we get into it i need this room to serve three main purposes the first one is making music everything related to that beats sounds like just making music the second purpose is shoot videos these youtube videos so i need to have a lot of good angles a lot of controls over the lights and the third one is live stream so i need a good internet and i needed some like like a little setup for live streams basically so check this out one thing that i can do with this room is completely change the vibe of it just by switching some of the parameters around i built it in a way that it's completely under my control for example i can do this what you're seeing right now but i can also do this or this or something like this or this or this which is kind of like how it was at the beginning as you can see i can pretty much do whatever i want it takes two seconds everything is controlled from my phone or from this little light remote and it's just super easy and convenient for like a video room all right let's start the tour shall we let me take you off this tripod and let's go so for this part of the tour i'm not going to do a lot of cuts i'm going to keep it pretty raw and i want to do this like first person like view so you guys can kind of really feel like you're in here i want it to feel like really immersive let's start from the desk i actually got the idea for this desk from kyle beats but there's a lot of youtubers that have the same exact setup which is two alex ikea drawers and this uh countertop which is actually a kitchen countertop called carlby in this walnut finish i thought it just looked really cool the alex in blue kind of matches the wall so i thought that was dope and it just looks insane it's my favorite part of the entire studio right now i can keep everything like super neat i have so much space i just love it so i have my usual monitors right here the simpson resolve a5s then right here i have my audio interface with this beautiful little guitar amp that donner sent me down there's this company that just sent me that they sent me that guitar they sent me that bass ukulele they just sent me a bunch of stuff so shout out to donner um this thing is really fun i got my remote right here the one i was showing you guys earlier for the lights so if i just have natural lights this is what it looks like right now the curtains are open uh but it's pretty foggy outside so there's not a lot of light and then i can turn this on i can change the temperature of the light i can do all kinds of stuff from this remote it's just really handy really nice to have this big led panel just kind of lighting up the whole room there right here i have my midi controller the alesis q49 is the same one i had before i just put it in the middle before i had it on the side and i had the push right here i actually haven't found a place for the push i don't know where to put it yet but we'll figure that out later for now keyboard is more than enough then here's this incredible monitor that i bought is the lg i don't remember the name of it but it's like the super widescreen 21x9 i never had a monitor like this and i really love it i put it on this like mount arm thing where i can like move it around especially for when i do like live streams and stuff i can put it on the side and have my macbook in the middle and i can have the double screen this thing really changed my workflow super happy i got that i love it then we got keyboard and mouse nothing special there um here i have this guitar which i put on the wall as the donner guitar i was telling you guys about pretty cool i like it i like it a lot one thing that i wanted to have for the studios of everything like really close to me everything is already cabled even when we're gonna get to the drums and stuff everything's got mics on it so literally from sitting right here i can record anything in the room i can just grab a guitar plug it in play i don't have to do any setup it's awesome i love that the back here i got this cool plant with the base ukulele i think that's going to go on the wall as well maybe right here i'm not sure yet but for now it's down here i got a light here that i used to kind of like change the mood of the background some sound panels here i put a dart board because i found it when i was like tidying up and why not let's see this is going to be it's going to be embarrassing ah now pretty bad if we keep going to the right we have the main door nothing special there and i have this little corner where i have all the stuff that i haven't figured out what to put yet i got the push i got a bunch of like midi keyboards i got a snare i think i'm gonna buy some sort of shell thing and put them on there i don't know yet this this corner is still a mess don't look at that let's move over to the piano this is the same piano i had in here before it's a piano from like i believe the early 1900s maybe even late 1800s uh so it's dope it's a little bit out of tune but it works i love this piano i inherited it from my aunt and it's just a dope piano i have it already miked like i said there's no cable running yet but uh this is going to be always mites so from sitting at the computer i can just press a button and i can record the piano right here has some stand stuff that i haven't really figured out what to put yet i have a microphone i have this light which i don't really use anymore oh yeah let me show you this for the windows we didn't know what to do i didn't want like regular curtains i wanted something that was easy to close and open up so i can simulate night time i can simulate daytime so we did this like weird velcro thing i put velcro all around the window so right now it's open and velcro to the side but i can also really quickly close it velcro it to the bottom and boom i can make it pitch black dark in here like two seconds if we keep turning around here we got another door which goes to the secret room of chaos it's a k it's a mess in here let's let's get out right over here we have this little thing that we built uh it's made of wood it opens up so you can get to like the router and like to the electric panel but it's also nice and covered so you don't really see it right here i velcroed like the battery chargers i have some more that i have to put on but i'll get to that uh later and we're just gonna keep going to the right we got the drum set right here it's a little bit big for the room like there's not a lot of space here to walk but i just love having this thing set up miced up i can just sit down play record i can do whatever i want i ordered some new symbols and some new drum heads so those are going to be coming in soon then over there i'm not even going to go there it's the guitar stuff so i got a bass amp another bass amp guitar amp this is all the like guitar live instrument section so even if somebody comes in we need to record like some guitars i just plug them in there we play somebody wants to play drums like everything is already prepped to go into the studio so i like having this like line right here it's like live instruments studio i love that then all the way up there on that shelf i put all of my drone stuff so it's just the batteries the drone a little plant just nothing special one thing that i did a little bit but it's not perfect yet is cable management there's a lot of cables coming out of like back here and it's really hard to hide every single one of them but the good news is that from the front you can't really see them you see them a little bit down there but not really all that much so that's fine i got one more light over here which is the one that lights up my face when i'm actually making the videos so if i'm sitting down right here at the desk i got that light lighting my face i got this one light in the room and then i got the screen and the keyboard and everything and there's a beat what beat is this what was i even doing [Music] hey [Music] nice so yeah i mean that's pretty much it i showed you guys most of it there's some other like little secret things going on like right here i have velcroed some airpods that just charge up all the time i got my phone charger i have everything like super like tuned in perfectly tuned into what i need the studio for i really love how this room feels like made for me like i custom made it for myself so it's got everything that i need where i need it when i need it easy to reach i love it well i know this was a little bit of a different video i hope you guys enjoyed this like more open format but i wanted to show you guys the entire process uh i'm really happy with how the studio came out i'm excited to get back into making regular videos vlogs be making videos tutorials all that usual stuff so that's gonna resume like now finally and yeah i hope this video
