I Built an African Wildlife Park in Better Minecraft! 💜

here in our a bit of Minecraft world we live very close to a savannah with heaps of cool animals so I want to turn it into an African Wildlife Park the animals I believe are from the naturalist mod and these heaps like giraffes and lions and zebras so I want to kind of learn more about them I don't know if we can breed them or what their mechanics are but we can kind of do some Googling as we go oh here's a rhino well that's a good start we've already got you for our Park buddy I don't really think we need to contain him cuz he's just always around whenever we here oh but he does go on a lead that's good to know I really don't know what Rhino's eat a carrot sir no okay we'll look up some info about our friend here later but for now I want to venture further into the Savannah and see what animals we can bring back so let's go off in this direction and do that there's already a zebra okay there's heaps of animals the thing about the zebras is they actually run away from us I think they work like horses where we caname them from riding them enough it's just get be a little bit more difficult oh my gosh come here why are you so fast can I creep up on you oh maybe this is the way no okay come back you're annoying me I don't know how are we going to deal with this guy we've successfully chased him back to our house oh here we go oh oh no come on no there still not friends i s it's been like 12 attempts or something we we did it okay we've befriended a zebra I even brought a saddle for this I definitely want a couple more though at least one more and maybe we can breed them he's so cute though is it just me or is this zebra really fast I think he's fast but with a terrible jump speed there's another one I did it okay and we've got one more sadle luckily this shs actually look so cool they're fancy What's this zebra like oh this one's really slow the other one was so much faster this is like walking speed can you at least jump no they seem to be bad jumpers well let's bring you back home and I'm actually kind of scared for these guys when we get mobs like lions are the Lions going to want to eat them I think for now we'll put the zebras somewhere really safe like maybe in our house just so that nothing can get them you're not going to get are you no they make funny little noises I didn't know that zebrra sounded like that oh it looks like it just became winter as well so I guess we're doing this in Winter a winter African Wildlife Park it's a strange combo okay they don't fit in the door they can just go outside okay looking at the wiki for the zebras it says they are faster than horses in water specifically and they should breed like horses with golden food so I've made two golden carrots oh yes they seem to like these they're doing a happy dance and there's a baby you are a very erratic mob and to that let's go find another animal for our Wildlife Park I'm hoping the animals will all be sort of nearby so we don't have to drag them for Miles I don't see anything yet except oh there's a fox that's not really a savannah animal I don't know what that's doing there and also there's whatever you are it's a mher I remember we found one of these and then I T it to a post to go get I was going to bring it home later and then I forgot about it so hopefully that little guy is doing okay oh hello duck ducks are not really the vibe we're going for either but you are a lioness wait you are so cool where's your pride I've seen a couple of lions before but they were worth others do you like ra meat here eat the meat no okay maybe they're happy to do their own hunting if we can't breath the Lions of meat we definitely need to find more Lions I wonder if she got separated from her Pride the wiki on this mod says that they can happen while they're hunting there's a giraffe in the lake oh my gosh oh there's one here okay we are getting giraffes next also I heard that you can ride them for 30 seconds if you feed them oh my gosh I can't even see my face we're on a giraffe and we can control where it goes w this is cool we should probably ride at home like this what direction is home this way I love this so much this is so funny and okay well we're on the edge of the Savannah you can just go over here you are so cool okay well we'll go get the one that was in the lake I don't know if they'll be able to make it up on one wide staircase give it a go let's see oh he's doing it let's go two giraffes in the snow yep that's totally normal and we can breed these two with hay bales to make a baby oh look at the little guy he's so cute we'll go in a slightly different direction now to see if we can find any other animals over here maybe some more Lions there's another jff up there but lions or something else would be good oh even more giraffes and there zebras there's an elephant on our mini map in the top left they seem to be rarer or we haven't encountered as many anyway I'm so excited though there might just be one but we could have just one elephant oh my gosh did you hear they made an elephant noise they make such fun noises hello he looks kind of angry okay the wiki says they can't be breed and fun fact they run away from bees hey I'm dressed like a bee ooh I'm scared but the real question is can we leash it no oh here we go he's on a leash there's nothing else in this vicinity except llamas and bees funnily enough let's just try to take you home then don't worry we'll avoid the bees okay here you go buddy I hope you like giraffes and as well as the elephant I have tied up the local rhinos just now so so far we have giraffes elephants rhinos and zebras also our baby giraffe grew up he's kind of just wandering around because I ran out of leads which also means we don't have leads for lions or any other animals so we should probably start on the Wildlife Park we can gather more animals afterwards but we definitely want to do this over here in the savannah and I have no idea where to start okay maybe we go from kind of the edge of the Savannah and just start clearing a bunch of trees and flattening some land and here we are forming where the path will go as well as the first couple of animal pins okay we're having a little break time partway through we've had three lots of pillages and I did a bit of an oopsy if we come just a little bit over here and you look up the top Raiders remaining I accidentally started a raid in my base we're not actually dealing with it though I'm just hoping it's times out cuz we do not want a modded raid right now that is not what we're doing this episode but so far this is the entrance to where the Wildlife Park will start we have an enclosure here and most of them still need glass and I also realized that I don't know how high up the animals can jump so we're going to taste it with this one I'm assuming the zebras will be fine in here but can the giraffes just kind of step right over it I don't know but aside from these two half finished pin we also have a half finished one over here and one over here this one's a little bit smaller so I was thinking the zebras might be good for this but before we figure out how we actually need to make these walls why don't we test a couple of the animals in them we'll just see how high say a giraffe and an elephant can climb well you'll be easy to contain if you can't even go one block come on they seem like they can't escape same with the elephant he's not budging that's good news Z we'll just do the like this we just need way more glass so I think on the map we'll just find a big area of sand I think this looks promising and dig a lot of it out so here we are collecting a few stacks of sand and I've been smelting it all up we have a few staks in our inventory and that should get us started for now so I think it's time to finish outlining these animal enclosures [Music] so here we are we have a total of six enclosures which is enough F elephants giraffes rhinos zebras lions and one more mob I think the next thing to focus on though is the foot path so we need to make this out of something there's lots of cool moded Granite variants so I kind of want to do Granite we only have a little bit though so next we need to go mining I'm thinking we'll just go to our strip mine okay yeah so we've got this little area to start with and we can just keep going around our strip mine and looking for spots of granite so now with all of this Granite I need use Granite for anything but we have some cool options in here and I think it's cool to stick to these brown tones especially for an African Wildlife Park so we've got this and maybe we could texture it with some BRS maybe so end up with something like this that looks cool I like that we just got to make them all like this we start with the occasional of these bricks we've got this cute little bird hanging around us maybe we should T some birds and hi them around the Wildlife Park it could be really cute [Music] after completing the path I decided to make a little entrance area using Spruce [Music] Anda and here we have a little entrance to the Wildlife Park I've got a little sign Maple Wildlife Park cuz our area over there is called Maple Treeway but that didn't fit so it's just maple also Winter's finally over look at this the snow is all gone but I made this like a little ticket area so you get emitted once you've got your ticket and then this is definitely starting to look good with all of these paths as well got lots of little path areas coming off at different spots and now we just need to add all of the little decorations and details I don't even know where to start with this okay well I really like these benches so I was thinking of adding more of them in here we have some in spru although I don't know what should be better I don't know maybe a bit of both I've also brought a lot of flowers with us so we can turn these little nooks into a Gardens oh and I left this as well for a garden and a tree so we can do flowers around the edges and a tree in the middle maybe we go with something other than AAA maybe a jungle tree I don't have the sapling me so we'll come back to that one we can also make sign posts and lamp posts let's try one here and I've got these which I've never used before oh there a cool yes big fan we can even write on them okay I'll do that once the animals are in the enclosures so we can put which animals are in which direction that is so cute though I love that does it need a little thing on the top should it also have lamps on it or maybe the lamp post is just a whole separate design somewhere else we're also going to add some final decorations to the animal enclosures and then we'll be ready to put them all in [Music] [Music] [Music] okay I think I know what one of our final animals will be for our smallest opin we've had this little guy hanging around as we've been building isn't he just the cutest he's a hog it kind of reminds me of of Pumba from The Lion King but he can go in this little side pin here and hopefully we'll find another one too can you jump one block seems like you cannot it looks cute in there though and I've got these little signs so we'll name it Hogs and hope that we get another one oh there's one over here by the fox and the Enderman I think my favorite thing about these guys is they're not aggressive cuz I have played a mod with very similar ones that were aggressive but if anyone wants to to play with these animals I think they're all from the naturalist mod all of these ones okay according to the wiki first of all they're actually called BS but we can breed them with carrots potatoes or beetro the wiki also said they're neutral mobs until you attack them and then they'll relentlessly attack you let's get some be tro for them and we have a baby Bo now we'll go find our final animal lions and we found an actual pride of Three Lions I'm so excited look at this guy with his big man so from what I've heard they all follow one of the females around which is designated the leader or the alpha is it you okay maybe it's you it's kind of hard to tell okay they don't seem to be following anybody we'll just least you all and cats don't like water let's see if they can swim fine oh they can and we are in they seem happy in there though I love them and them that is our African Wildlife Park done let's do a little tour so I can show you in free cam this is what it looks like and then if we go in from the entrance we have our giraffes immediately on this side and our rhinos over here they're kind of at the back and if we keep going I did tame a couple of these little birds to sit around I think they're so cute and we've got our signpost I planted a tree here and we've got some little Ventures but as the sign says if we go left we get to the Hogs over in this corner little family here with their baby then in the middle pan we have our elephant over here and of course making our way up here further we have our zebras and lions so here are the zebras and of course the Lions so that completes our Wildlife Park and our episode for today but thank you for watching and I will see you in the next one
