I Built a QUARRY in Survival Minecraft

I'm lacking materials and while mining them takes way too long I found a different way today I'm going to attempt to make a quarry what is a quarry may be asking well Corey's a machine that mines out a massive area while collecting all the materials it also loves causing problems there are all kinds of problems that occurred while I was building this so make sure to stay until the end of the video without further Ado I think I can begin a lot of people who build cores usually do it in the Mesa for all the Terracotta I don't have a big enough Mesa around for a quarry so I think I might need to go find one I can't find him oh there's one I have a problem I don't have a quarry to build I was browsing the internet tested a couple of Quarry designs and one design sticked out more than the others this vertical duper by this guy this design is simple to build and seemed to work the best out of all the other quarries except there's one downside the roof sucks wait actually no I can't put Pixlr on it because the blocks get shifted around instead of being pushed that roof should work okay I need pixel art my channel Banner is the perfect size to fit but dactis is going to be helping so I guess I need to include him too so uh I made more channel art I really hope this is gonna work okay I have a query I can use I just need to build it I have an idea where I want to build it so I think I just need to clear out an area to do it I've got some planning to do this core is going to have four different trenches it's gonna have a front trench two side trenches and then a trench on the bottom I think I'm gonna start with the large trench at front I kind of want this trench to have smooth edges on both sides so I'm going to build this smooth trencher twice just to make it look a little cooler but first I need to clear out all the water to do that I'm just gonna grab a bit of sand from the end and then just fill up the river with sand foreign [Music] clear any water if I need to [Music] [Music] it's so slow to reach level 11. now I just need to do it again great [Music] well isn't it beautiful that's gonna be one out of four trenches now I need to do the side trenches these only need to be three blocks wide so that should be easy right except that they need to be a thousand blocks long oh my God that's so much water how would I possibly drain all this water well with one of my terrible ideas of course okay if I place waterlogged stairs on the sides then they should not get blown up and then keep all the water in I can already see this being a really bad idea [Music] okay I managed to do both sides all I need to do is build a dinky little TNT duper and we should be all set wait a minute I don't have materials here it goes now all I need to do is make sure it doesn't blow itself up this actually might have been a terrible idea there's so much water [Music] it's been a couple hours I think I might have miscalculated yeah see the trench needs to go lower there we go first trench finish now I need to deal with this on the other side okay I just started it and forgot how terrible of a job I did on the water clearing I should probably redo all of this foreign [Music] I removed all the stairs and cleared all the water properly now this should run a bit more smoothly maybe well it's that time I need to rebuild this stupid trencher but this time I think I'm gonna automate it [Music] that should do it now just need to help I built it low enough okay that that was rough those two trenches are finished and now we need to do the bottom yeah dactus here has been building this bottom tunnel board that we're going to use to finish up the last trench first we need to make sure it works okay I pasted it in my taxes built uh he only missed three blocks and it's all fixed now so now it should work properly I hope [Music] okay second time to charm [Music] okay now I just need to do this 999 more times [Music] Holy balls this is massive okay all the trenches are finished which means next up I need to construct the Quarry I'm gonna do this in two separate parts firstly I'm gonna construct the actual mining portion then I'll build the roof and this is going to take a lot of material so I guess I should probably start Gathering them first on my list is slime I only need around five shulkers of slime blocks luckily I built this slime farm a while back I think I'm just gonna go gather the rest of the materials yeah I'll see you in a bit [Music] foreign [Music] all the materials for the mining part of the choreo collected but before I build the Quarry I need to address an issue that could become a massive problem in the future immovable blocks worries can't deal with the movable blocks because they can't be blown up or moved with pistons meaning that I'm going to remove them all by hand luckily I have an alright computer guys I think I broke it okay I got it to work I pasted all the land in and now all I should need to do is remove all the movable blocks and then put it back in the other world and then it should have an overlay of all the blocks I need to remove oh it worked perfectly now all I need to do is find all these purple spots and execute them [Music] now hopefully all that movable blocks should be gone hopefully which means we can now build the Quarry [Music] foreign [Music] of the Quarry this is the part that mines out all the blocks and then stores them since this is all built the next step is the roof the roof is necessary for lightning which could break the farm also it looks freaking sick this is going to be a challenge because me and Dex are going to be building pixel art on the Quarry I've never really built pixel art in survival these are the materials for the roof as you can see there's a lot wait a minute oh okay I'm just gonna start with the concrete because it should all be in one place yeah no it's not [Music] here are all the materials I moved them all to the site so I can use them oh I guess I need to do now is build the roof [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] oh my God that looks so cool we complete the roof which means the Quarry is finished yeah I need to build a storage system okay I'm here in my test world and I want to make a storage system that will collect all the materials while being efficient I may need to do some math this is an 86 hour Quarry I'm going to be using double speed choker loaders which we'll be able to handle around 18 000 items per hour meaning that out of those 86 hours each double Speed Loader can handle roughly 1.5 million items okay I think I'm just gonna build it here I have a sorting system that can sort out all the items I've calculated the amount of shulker loaders based on the average materials in the Quarry also I don't need 6 000 shulkers of Cobble so I made these burners here that should take care of that it's also in a loop so any materials doesn't get collected can loop back around and get collected yes you need to go gather some more materials [Music] I think I'm just gonna make that just build it [Music] okay here's the sorting system before I could figure it I need to build the item stream I'm gonna need some ice two shulkers of glass and two sex coral and slabs hopefully this doesn't take too long to build because I want to get the Corey up and running today [Music] foreign [Music] that should do it if I Chuck an item in the end here it should end up on the other side okay there it is the last thing I need to do before running the quarries configure the sorting system this is gonna be pain because I need to gather five stacks of materials for every double Speed Loader I four double speed Lotus for terracotta meaning that I need 20 Stacks terracotta foreign system's all set wait no I need shelters this core is going to collect in the neighborhood of 8 million blocks not including the stone so I need probably a little over 4 500 shulkers I honestly don't even know if we have enough oh I think I'll just get thick shulkers of shells making a little over 5000 shelters which should be plenty oh I'm so glad carpet mod gives us stackable shulkers or else I'll need to filled 96 double chests with shulkers and that should be it core should be ready to begin but before that I'm gonna make backup okay in three two one oh there it goes it broke we're back in the backup fix the what that's a lot of blocks I don't want to move them at all us having all these materials is a huge deal because some of these blocks here can only be obtained by hand and we have a lot also I forgot that drip Stone breaks from Pistons so we didn't get any other than that this was a pretty successful Quarry I feel like we got pretty much all the materials that we were expecting and it it just
