I Recreated HYRULE CASTLE in Survival Minecraft

this is Zelda tears of the Kingdom this game came out around a month ago oh and that's Hyrule castle one of my favorite castles of all time what if I built that to celebrate the release of Gears of the Kingdom I'm building Hyrule castle in Minecraft why you may be asking well I've wanted to do this for Years also I'm bored now in order to build this castle Minecraft I need to find what this Castle actually looks like pictures are terrible I have a faint idea of what the castle looks like I'm gonna go off the castle from breath of the wild because then here's the kingdom the castle is kind of floating in the air that just makes things harder now I don't think spawn is a great place to build this so I need to find an area of land to build this on give me one minute okay I've got three potential spots in mind the Savannah statues backyard or The Frigid ocean yeah I think it's gonna be the frigid ocean because it kind of looks terrible on the other spots okay now we need to find the location there'd be somewhere in the nether according to my calculations which probably are not very reliable I should be in the right spot what and there's the ocean just one tiny problem though this Castle is so massive that's kind of too big even for this area and because of that there are islands invading the Castle's personal space that's unacceptable here's my genius plan I'll start out by outlining the castle marking out its shape then I can clear out what is needed in order to make it look somewhat normal I'll start with the outline as expected it crosses over in the other land looks like I have some terraforming ahead of me good news though it mostly involves removing land so I won't need any extra materials and no I'm not terraforming under the castle because I don't want to [Music] wow that still looks terrible that should be the base of the castle complete not to move on to the exciting task of gathering materials for this Castle material wise is Castle so massive and detailed it needs over 500 000 blocks I'll be starting off with the stone in order to gather these materials I'll be following the material category strategy which basically means I'll gather the materials and categories at a time making the material Gathering phase as fast and efficient as possible [Music] foreign [Music] terracotta complete yeah I just chucked all the shulkers in the middle spawn like any other normal human would let's get the leaves out of the way because this Castle has a lot of custom trees and bushes that I didn't want to stop thinking about luckily I have this spruce tree setup that gets Spruce leaves quickly and efficiently foreign [Music] snag some concrete while I'm at this as well [Music] it's time for wood ripped wood okay this is taking way too long wait a minute I've got a terrible idea oh my god it works okay stuffed all these logs into my trusty concrete converter man that worked way better than the concrete converter in the end yeah I don't even try that this material Adventure has been taken way too long I don't even have half the materials yet don't worry though I won't bore you with the details time for me to embark on a heroic journey to gather the remaining materials facing mobs Ravines and lag spikes in search for the building blocks of Hyrule Castle all right that's a live Spike [Music] thank you I kind of came across a tiny problem you see I need over 5 000 brick blocks and a crap ton of dirt if you don't know how to get a brick block you need four bricks which are smelted from four clay balls which are gathered on the bottom of lakes and rivers yeah sorry I'm not Gathering 20 000 clay Balls by hand luckily 1.19 came with a feature where all I need to do is simply take water bottles and dirt make mud and then place it above drip Stone and eventually I get clay it's fairly easy to automate except for the fact that I need a lot of drips done meaning that I need a drip Stone Farm yeah okay I'll start with the drip Stone Farm thank you and there's a drip Stone Farm well that's farming up I need to fix my dirt problem since I made the Quarry I would have enough dirt except that that's a massive meatball with a mustache made of dirt dirt from the Quarry yeah we don't have any dirt of course it has a broken dirt farm in the middle which was supposed to make all the dirt back that was used for the meatball that never happened my only chance at getting all the dirt I need is fixing the dirt farm I held this off for as long as possible for many reasons I have some troubleshooting to do [Music] thank you [Music] wait a minute oh that's funny seems to be a block in the way of the tree growth seems like that could be a slight problem that looks like dirt to me the way this Farm works is it uses Stone generators to fill the bottom with stone turning the stone into Moss then it grows a big spruce tree turning the Moss into possible podzel gets collected and then the cycle repeats now I need to wait for the dirt because I need dirt from here to get clay speaking of clay I need to build the clay converter give me a minute thank you [Music] and there's a clay converter for this thing will work though I need to place all the drips on because that's what actually turns mud into clay you weren't paying attention that's why I built the drip swim form [Music] finally I'm done with the clay converter now to use this thing all I need to do is gather dirt and start inputting it into the converter if I truly fix the dirt farm there should be plenty of dirt for me to use oh I'll be right back okay after a little bit of trouble I got the dirt all I need to do is place the dirt until the converter fills up whole thing does is it slowly moves the mud across the platform with drip Stone underneath converting the mud to Clay over time once the mod goes through it gets converted to Clay and that's directed to a TNT chamber where it is collected for me to use for bricks I took so much longer to fill than I should have now I just need to continue this until I have 12 chokers of play balls [Music] and that should do it just gotta smelt it all up I feel like at this point I would have been faster than mine it all by hand oh well last material I need is dirt yeah more dirt the dirt Prime should have been running this whole time so I should have a fair amount of it ew spent three days of material collecting and Farm building and I can finally say that I'm done collecting materials and then I can start building except there's one problem materials are at spawn the build sites over a thousand blocks in that direction I need to move them over there [Music] got all the materials here now it's build time I'm gonna do small chunks at a time starting with the base of the castle and I'll work my way up foreign [Music] I built everything under sea level first because there's a cave here in the middle that needs to be drained best way to clear out water is to make walls of sand and then use sponges to put out the water should have enough sand in the end to do this and that's funny here we go again [Music] could be all the water cleared now it's what you've all been waiting for I'm gonna start the cave system oh [Music] perfect that should be the Cave System complete now under the interior in breath of the wild the interior is a little bit beat up since it was taken over by Ganon personally I would prefer the castle be all fixed up so I can get the full Hyrule Castle experience that's exactly what I'm gonna do foreign oh man this looks amazing personally I feel like this Castle is a lot cooler without all the wreckage from Ganon anyways I think I'm going to start on the outside shell now I might just finish off the castle if I feel like it all right [Music]
