I Broke MY Poppy Playtime Chapter 1-3 SPEEDRUN WORLD RECORD!! (100% No Glitches)

and we're definitely not getting this in under an hour uh but as long as we get it in half you you know what actually wait wait wait stretch goal here all three speeduns combined under two hours for all chapters obviously no deaths in this one would be ideal let's look at what the speedr runners have done 2 minutes and 59 no hey everyone it's your friend think noodles and welcome back to Poppy playtime I thought we might want to Revis is at the story of chapters 1 2 and three in order but I wanted to make it a little bit interesting I wanted to challenge myself to try and get spectable speeduns on all three chapters it's been a long time since I've played chapter 1 and chapter 2 so I will be rusty we're going to start with chapter 1 and I want to look at the speedrun records and and see where we should be aiming yeah here we go so current patch no major glitches and what what 559 dude to get in the top 100 you have to get sub seven minutes okay well uh it does look like we've got our work cut out for us we start the timer as soon as we can interact with the game go okay oh man okay so this is actually changed it's yellow whatever red yellow pink green instead of pink green yellow red uh this I think you can like Fast Forward yep okay that part I know is the be is the beginning that changed a lot and it actually uh when I was watching poppy playtime speed runs uh that's what changed them the most dramatically is that beginning it like shaved a minute I missed minute off of everyone speedruns because you had to sit through that whole like I I remember speedrunners sitting hey Huggy wuggy bro give me five uh like sitting through that animation uh on how to use a grab pack just like doing nothing um and I felt bad for them and I I just messed up like I've already lost the world record time you know what no I I'm going to call this my world record it's my personal world record that's a thing right I've never done a speedrun before so uh whatever I get is going to be my own personal world record yeah that's what I'm saying oh nailed it let's go okay dude wait we're only a minute and we're already here oh I gu why these people are able to do it so quickly don't even try it with me steam I know you're there um now on this one it's a short speedrun hopefully oh this part's uh random so this is the RNG that you hope for that you get a good spawn on um on the location of these things that you can see them right off I see one I see two that's some good stuff there except oh my goodness you're an idiot get that okay get that now I I want to peek do I oh oh yeah you go too far here right this is probably the most stressful speedrun because it is so competitive uh because yeah you there's like very few things to interact with uh and mistakes you can make oh my that was well it wasn't really a mistake I don't know why it didn't hit um now we're just going to ride this out and I'll probably talk through this whole one but in some of the other ones I probably won't uh because but I can't pause the speedrun so there might be some silent Parts in the other speed runs uh for chapter 2 and chapter 3 where I'm not talking constantly like I am here although I am pretty chatty so I may mhm okay so right up here this is the well there's two spots where there's skill but um with with knowing Huggy wuggies Chase which I haven't done in months maybe even a year so I don't really remember it and also there's a jump on here that I've never done before and I missed okay and it wasn't that one it's right here you can actually do this if you do it right okay oh I did it I did it okay huh yep so you don't have to pull that platform it saves you time Time come on and then actually if you land on this sign here I've seen them do it yep it doesn't break your legs go go go go there it is okay it's powered go go go woo we're doing all right 4 minutes and now we wait this is just like that hand coming toward us everybody has about the same wave time got to wait until this gets all the way to the end here although if we move this stuff out of the way and we got nothing else to do right uh if we move this stuff out of the way just so we have like a clear path every second counts guys um but yeah if I can grab it like this uh straight path to there okay we'll try that might want to get like a little bit further over just so I can get this as soon as it comes yeah right there that one's going to slap catb in the face as soon as it comes out and this is yeah this is a part where I actually I don't have anything to talk about so we just talking I said so we got here at 4 minutes right uh when I was it when I pulled the levers and this takes a full minute how did people get sub did were people getting sub six or sub seven I think sub seven to get in the top 100 sub six somebody got I don't know how like because well I mean I don't know how long Huggy wuggy Chase is ah oh man I let him go way too far there okay go go go go go go go okay come on let's go let's go let's go come on and there we go triggered him at 5 minutes 30 okay I do not remember this chase that well well I mean I remember some of it so yeah we're going to go did almost I mean like I did almost everything perfectly and yet I'm past 7 minutes what come on what did I do like differently that they did right I I mean did I yeah look at this this is such a long soon as that goes in yeah load again you see the and and it's going to spawn them somewhere else right I want to see a legitimate one where you're not using like using up the the the save like that right okay so I'll take that 72468 for chapter 1 now we got to try chapter 2 and it's it's been a while and I didn't play it nearly as much as I played chapter 1 I remember things I did I did play this with mods quite a few times uh so I do remember most of the puzzles but I'm not going to beat it in seven minutes and let's check what the records are so we know what to shoot for I do know that the first time I played it uh it took me three videos I I split it into three videos cuz I didn't get Early Access and it took me combined about an hour and 45 minutes and then I put it all into one video and I got it it was a little bit over an hour like an hour five or so and and so I think we're going to shoot for under an hour but let's see what the uh the records are 2 minutes and 59 no okay so that's out of bound oh no we want to do 100% okay 16 minutes wait oh out of bounds no major skips okay now we're talking 31 wow really dang okay look right here we're just gonna we're going to beat this guy 1 hour 31 minutes I've already actually beaten that with that 100% run that I was talking about but yeah let's let's shoot for ooh that that might yeah let's try and beat this one but definitely uh as long as we go under an hour and I don't die I will be happy under 5311 that's the stretch goal and go okay I'm going to go backwards cuz all the speedr runners do this it doesn't matter like I think it saves you like half of a second but I guess when you're doing like a thre minute out of- bound speedrun it matters woo it's been a long times since we've been in here oh and they do this thing with their frame rate which I don't understand but it like makes this go really fast so they can like swing themselves more quickly uh increases their walking speed come on come on come on I'm already going slow like I feel like they've already gotten all the barrels we don't do we Okay you suck see that would if I was one of the the those speedrunners I I would have already abandoned this but uh at least I haven't missed any swangs all right so uh might as well grab that whoa I just shot that pillow straight across and that's what they use with like their frame rate they use that pillow to make themselves go faster I don't really know what happens now we got a poppy speech right yeah I remember this chapter I I sorry I didn't to scare you I was just trying to get the scenes this part dude this part you don't have to do the cut scene let's go listen I'm going to need you to trust me the timing so conven I need you to trust me whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa oh uh this oh I got to go left uh and I think I go around this yeah I think it's like um around this go around here this one like took me a long time the first time but I think do this yep jump and nailed it let's go all right dude oh okay so we're at 3 minutes I don't know if that's good or bad oh dude I that feels like it's good 3 minutes we're already meeting mommy longlegs I feel like that is pretty fast we'll be able to tell uh isn't this exting puy yeah yeah yeah exting see this is a cut scene that you can't speed up you can't skip it uh and it's kind of like a I don't know if it's a killer but this this uh cut scene is the same length for everyone and it adds probably a full minute where you you can't advance I am yeah I'm not going to be able to talk through all of these speedr runs but we have to keep the timer running so hopefully my editor can like uh keep the timer on screen but like zoom and make things interesting while we just sit here and listen we've seen all this before geted mhm I ain't afraid of you while still alive and we know that she actually does that uh poy told us in in chapter 3 we know now that she's already done that in the hour of Joy they ate us got it okay so yeah and it look four four so that was like a minute and 20 seconds okay so I've seen speedrunners do this you can actually hit this if come on ah so you can actually hit it oh I did it yes I'm a speedrunner now so you can yeah you can hit those switches from behind uh now that is how they are uh advancing through quickly um even even with a no glitch run because uh once you get the green hand from musical memory here you can you know the train code right you know it's uh what is it like red yellow red blue uh and and and and Kissy like the the order I think it's bunzo kissy something I can't I would know it if I saw it and then you just guess the numbers one through four and if you guess right then then you just had a speedrun and if you guess wrong well then then you can keep guessing a man still got lag spikes I remember that lag Spike let's go through here come on get it there we go uh okay let's get our hand here come on nope ah it doesn't matter cuz you have remember like the first time being like Oh my goodness they're going to kill me uh but I'm actually pretty good at this one recre think the only time I've ever like died to bunzo buzo will slowly is when you a I think when I wanted to see his jump scare cuz you can even make a mistake and he won't kill youly try for no mistakes toward you faster yeah yeah yeah we know we know your test is over the test will become more difficult as it continues with longer patterns and quicker sucession that's all oh good luck well actually that was a full minute no wait but we still have um mommy longlegs comes too right here so that's been a minute what just happened amazing oh the lights okay mommy hasn't seen the place I've been running in years Mommy can only imagine how excited buzo must be it's with like Massacre okay we got to hit the thing and I never know where it comes from I'm sure speedr Runners know exactly where it comes from but it goes clockwise ah come on yes okay got it so 11 so what did we started at 7 minutes 15 so this is like I mean basically five full minutes by the time this part's over Splendid job deed deed to give you part of the code which we already know this part right like she doesn't give us the number the number you wait until the very end it's always the same this is oh yeah that's the pattern so it's bunzo kissy the G could last a little long is bunzo kissy something Mommy right mommy knows other way and then red yellow red blue and then yeah a combination of 1 2 3 4 let's go um okay come on here we go now the vent the vent oh oh oh we're doing really well because this is right where I I ended my first video on chapter 2 like right as I was coming through the vent and it was like 32 minutes long we're at 12 minutes and 30 seconds that's almost three times faster it's at least twice as fast um and like I know well I mean I know the whole puzzle here if we go over here we can actually I think we can you can reach this from the other side like the one in the ah come on there we go nope come on let me try yes see you don't have to go all the way up there okay now um no I want to use this one uh I got to try my best to not get stuck of that thing other than just slow us down and look at this look at this 15 minutes so now come on I missed so now technically we could try and guess the code right cuz we got the green hand and I've done this before where you don't have to beat all the games so I could like do this this no uh no uh yeah like that and then red yellow red blue and then I could have guessed 1 2 3 4 and we could have had like a 15 20 no well it's pulling the lever but if I guess the code right unless I I'm going to just throw one out uh 4 231 we'll see if that is right at the end uh but we could have had like a 16-minute speedrun just now but probably not and it's all down to just literally guessing and being lucky uh but that's how they do it that's how they get those quick speed runs welcome to W right anybody in here this Advanced test is designed to assess the extent of abilities a dual pal grab pack will be provided to you for this test a around you are 18 sizable holes an adorable Huggy wuggy toy could appear out of any one of these holes you know um these ones are so hard to see I remember the first time I played like the up ones like with the way the lighting is oh that's short way shorter than I remember uh those ones are hard especially when the lights go out like did they go out now or when it actually starts oh no they stay on so they P back when they got to but not this time aha have fun that's short too okay yeah see now you can like it it's still really hard to see with the Bloom from the lights like the ones that are closest to those lights are really hard we're just going to have to use our ears I remember playing this the first time come on let's go let's go here we go there we go uh I failed on hey hey hey come what did uh I failed like three or four times so we can't catch her all right we got to optimize Barry here no mistakes we got to go straight through green hand is the is the Superstar here and and she's gone hold on I'm going to pass that up for it turned let's get the yellow one we still have to hit that a suck at the yellow button okay then all the way down and then you can wait and you can actually grab it as it falls off you don't have to have it go toward you it's a little bit quicker yes nailed it let's go all right now this we actually do have to hit the left button I I almost don't remember the combination this is going to be luck dude uh I know we have to the left button at least let's see probably yeah we want them lined up come on uh there we go okay now left left right yes I got it I got it come on come on come on come on come on spin let's go that was basically luck I should have like okay whatever it doesn't matter come on come on come on come on yes okay so 30 minutes and we are at the mommy long oh no wait oh this puzzle this is quick this is quick though it's that um it's that puzzle oh it's quick I remember it so I got to swing across here and then oh you only want one of these I think it's this one otherwise it locks us off okay here we go and um wait let go okay let's go quick ah oh dude hurry hurry this is time you got to do it all at once now I got to wrap both of them wrap wrap hit it yes oh man so now we're at Mommy long oh yeah there we go yeah uh well not quite Mommy Long Legs oh this is the Mommy oh yeah right this scared me so much you to play Yeah so basically we're at Mommy Long tase at 30 minutes this was such a good animation one last game it's hide and okay start counting let's go let's go you can jump these stairs here um so it's a lot quicker but a I jumped too far okay jeez gez uh like on the left yep it's still here okay put it in here I never noticed that it makes that beeping noise it's iconic right there we go get it going get this out of the way now I've walked through the fire before I don't think it can kill you yeah I think it's okay I'm pretty sure it's okay I've done it but yep okay nailed it let's go okay oh and then we put the gear in and then we pull the thing here we go um okay let's go so now we trigger mommy oh and then we got to hide and then we trigger her again um for the final Chase come on let's get in let's get side wait what I can't oh there you got to grab the inside oh it doesn't matter cross my arms it doesn't matter it's fine okay and then we have to wait for her to leave I'm sure that speedr Runners know exactly when to leave but I don't I just want to make sure that we're come on that we're good okay now my favorite like chase scene in any game ever I think we have to pull this to get her to move let's go there she okay there mean we if I hadn't made a few of those mistakes I might have been able to get top 10 like a few mistakes like especially the one with like the pulling thing uh okay so what time for chapter three now it took me over 3 hours the first time as you guys know like I feel like as long as we get half that under an hour and a half we're definitely not getting this in under an hour uh but as long as we get it in half you you know what actually wait wa wait so we had what did we have 40 minutes plus 7 and a half minutes stretch goal here stretch goal is all three speeduns combined under two hours for all chapters obviously no deaths in this one would be uh ideal uh and a normal goal but stretch goal all three under two hours let's look at what the speedr runners have done and we know yeah the out of bounds like you can I don't even think you can do this anymore 9 minutes 45 seconds same dude uh let's go 100% 38 no no no no no that's out of bounds H okay so look at this so no major skips in bounds 5957 so if we can get around an hour that'd be amazing we want like to get all the way under so 47 we need to be like an hour 13 to get that stretch goal I still don't understand how these people are doing it in 36 minutes that's just seems impossible at least for me let's go okay ien started the timer yet because we uh this is cut scene you don't uh start a timer until you uh actually have control and then you stop the timer as soon as it's all cut scene so um I don't remember well okay it's fine I know when this one this one starts right at the bottom hey buddy okay like almost parkour thing here you can actually get it off of this little bucket here or whatever it is piston so you just stay on this one and as it starts to go up you can actually go through this door here I don't know it saves like 1.2 seconds you can this I like you can hit uh and I see speedrunners do this you can hit the handles with your hand and opens the door it makes sense all right here we go dialogue because it like keeps going and then there's this this long break I never understood that I feel like this should be well timed because we're already a minute through so this is at least a two minute if not three minute cut scene and dreams or it is only through hopes and dreams that we may create a better world one where our children need not be afraid one where they are protected
