I Broke My Back!!!

I could go to that prison yeah that Batman went to and just do it the old-fashioned way with a little smash you poo [Music] [Applause] hello friends salutations that's from Charlotte went ahead so today's vlog was unexpected so I went to the doctor today because my back's been hurting for about six weeks mostly when I sit and then stand for a while it's really stiff and stuff but this has happened like the last like several years where like hurts for a couple weeks and it feels better but this time has been about six week and has gotten better so I actually got an MRI yesterday just to be safe and then when I went to the doctor's today I have a herniated disc so this white line should go smooth all the way here but it's bulged in right here because I have a disc that's protruding out so Jason just to get back surgery yep how many surgeries of our family had in the last six months I had shoulder surgery so that all this had to in November you had one in November and now this one best case scenario that part that was protruding out that I showed you as part of the bone they'll just shave it because it's on that sciatic nerve which is causing all that pain and stuff so if they can shave it that'll let the nerve stretch out be where it should be worst-case scenarios they have to take the vertebrae out and infuse the other two together I really hope they don't have to do that because one is a same-day procedure it would take about a month of recovery and we're filming right now so that wouldn't be too bad they could just push sketches that I'm in hopefully to later in the season the other ones three months recovery and takes a lot more physical therapy and stuff and I think that would be like the end of shoulder angel if that one happens that we'll just have to find a new shoulder to Angel a new wayward soul there's two silver linings one is that Batman also broke his back I know his was from a rock broke his back over his knee yeah that's what happened to you but remember if you've seen Dark Knight Rises that has to like lay on that rope and then he like hits his back in because the vertebrae had jetted out because Bain is smashed over his knee that's pretty much what I have and I'm sure like I could go to that prison yeah that Batman went to and just do it the old-fashioned way with a little smash you poo and then I could climb out of there and then be that much stronger than I could come back to Studio C the true hero I guess I'll do it the boring way and just get surgery so it's a bummer because it was completely unexpected hopefully this will get rid of my back problems that I've been having I'm honestly just glad that they have found something I know from experience so back in April I separated the cart lid that joins your upper arm and your shoulder blade your scapula I separated it away from my shoulder blade and they couldn't see it on the MRI and they told me that all my arm pain that I was experiencing was like ginger imagination like I was making it up and I insisted that they give me surgery I like forced them to within when they went in there they were like oh we had to put three screws in your arms so my hope was that they actually did find something on the MRI so then at least we could fix it because he's been in so much pain for those of you if you have lower back problems go check it out because if you catch it early enough you can do a shot that will just like naturally kind of expand your back so that sciatic nerve the pressure goes off because mine like the bone is sitting on the sciatic nerve I wanted it to do it earlier listen really gentle bagging me she was like Jenny please let me go to the doctor I really feel like I need to get this done and I just said no tough luck yeah just suck it up rub some dirt in it good Iceland obviously it was the exact opposite of that but to be fair like I've had this problem before and it's always gotten better so I am glad we did the MRI because I could have just kept on wallowing in pain so hopefully we get it taken care of it does put a damper on things Jenny's brother was saying there's this family called the bucket list family now there's actually good friends with them but they go around the world traveling and showing their adventures and stuff we could be like the medical list or the ouch it family or something see how many ailments we can operate the tree the thing is like because I was pretty sad today I come back alive I was pretty bummed because I'm like man this is going to mean that I'm not going to be in as many sketches probably for season eight of Studio C it means there's you know a long recovery there's going to be I just don't like sitting I kind of go crazy if I'm not moving but the nice thing about the Internet is one of the very few nice things about the Internet is there's so many people that are suffering so much worse so it's easy to like get down but you see all these people that have like amazing attitudes despite trials and stuff so it's like well they would probably give you know their right arm to have like chance at having a surgery to even have access to medical care is like you know when the 30% of the world even has like adequate medical care so there's good things not that I'm trying to be like Oh holier than thou but I think it's good to realize that life could definitely be a lot worse for example tomorrow there's going to be a kid at the shoot were filming tomorrow and it's a make-a-wish theme his wish was to be in a studio see sketch and the kid has cancer no one should get cancer but especially kids I feel like but this kid has cancer so it could be a lot worse but I hope tomorrow he can have a really fun time at the shoot and we'll try to make a special for him like I said it could be worse that doesn't mean it doesn't suck because we day it could be it could be a little better but we'll make it through Jenny let me go that's why I'm wearing this towel because Jenny let me go to the rec center sit in the hot tub while she chased Sallis around the rec center what's so funny I feel like you just give their impression that leg I just like control your life like Jenny let me go specific Center Jenny wouldn't let me go sit fuck now there did it I encouraged you to go specific there no I meant you like me in like a good way it's like that's like how guys say like all my life my wife let me go to the football game it's like it's like a good thing it's not like a negative thing I was really grateful for I was able to like do this like weird squat everyone was looking at me weird because I was like squatted in the hot tub like this going back and forth he was in a like a classic birthing position and so people probably thought every like a freak because there's like five other people in the hot tub so I was like I don't care this feels good on my back speaking of which I think we should do the to the Jason reax videos to the hottub sketch I think I should do react to the hot tub sketch there are so many good behind-the-scenes stories of that so anyways we'll do that sorry this hopefully this vlog isn't too depressing but this is what's going on in our life so we thought it'd be weird to ignore the fact that I have to get back surgery and that I broke my back it just kind of seems par for the course in our family she likes someone's always getting surgery or has some sort of ailment or something or other I told Jason today like if one more thing happens to us not Alice because that wouldn't be funny but like feel like if one more serious thing happens stuff like it'd almost be like funny almost like how many give up one it's not funny but it's like almost comical of how much stuff we've had going on it's kind of ridiculous but we've been given a lot of blessings to you and I feel like with everything that has come out everything's turned out as best as it possibly could this will be all good so my question of the day is if you guys like you don't have to because it's really personal question asked if you've ever had something like really really bad happen whether it be a physical injury or an emotional or spiritual but what are some of the things that you guys do to when you have those things what are some things you do to help heal like for me I like to turn on the office is one of my favorite TV shows and when I'm in a lot of pain it's just like it's very nostalgic and I just love that show I like to eat my comfort foods like pizza things like that which Jenny is always really good about babying me and stuff I'd be interested to see what other people do to like find that like when you get bad news what you do to help kind of begin the healing process or even from my perspective like what you do when you're someone close to you is going through the healing process that's true because I feel like we've been on all sides like we've been we've been the person that are in trouble and we've been the person that's trying to support somebody else and yeah so if just whatever role that you feel like you're in if you feel like you can share thanks guys I was going to do the lemonade one right away I promise I'm still going to do the lemonade stand but your obvious reasons it's taken a little bit of a little beat all right so we're going to get all the things done that we said we
