welcome to this guided hypnosis session I'm Andrew major clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist now I've created this relaxing session especially to support you as you Embrace New Beginnings in your life maybe it's time to let go of the things that hold you back unwanted habits behaviors or limiting beliefs or maybe you have new goals and resolutions in mind for greater success now with practice and repetition this guided hypnosis will help you move forward with greater ease confidence and self-belief helping you to stay focused without self-doubt and worry in a few moments we'll follow the same process as we do in the therapy room bringing you back to a state of full awareness at the end of the session but before we begin it's really important to understand that when we're going through change or we're beginning something new Stress and Anxiety can really get in the way so if we want to create change in our lives our careers our relationships or our lifestyle then we need a calm mind and a clear perspective to maintain focus and move forward consistently to achieve that success now Stress and Anxiety doesn't like change the Primitive parts of our brain encourage us to go back to Old Habits coping behaviors and old ways of thinking so when we want to change maybe we want to start exercising we want to lose weight or start a new career or just learn something new we need to develop healthier patterns of thought that align with our conscious desires and when we do we feel braver stronger and we have the courage and the confidence to see things through so by listening to this guided hypnosis it can help you relax your mind and body together relieving anxiety and stress gradually whilst the positive suggestions can help you establish more confidence and self-esteem to take action and move forward with Clarity and the more you listen the deeper it works remember please do not listen listen if you're driving operating Machinery or doing anything else that requires your full attention only listen when you can bring your full attention to a relaxation so as we begin just find a comfortable position somewhere where you won't be disturbed and maybe you're lying down or maybe you're sitting back in a chair but just be comfortable and take the time to get relaxed and as you do just Begin by closing your eyes ready to go into hypnosis and just keep listening quietly to the sound of my voice and as you do I want you to concentrate on your breathing taking a deep breath in and just holding it in for a moment before breathing out slowly just allowing your whole body to relax and as you rest there you can become aware of any possible store tension that you'd like to let go and just as soon as you're ready you can choose to let them go with your breathing and this may be the time when you need to let yourself begin to find a way to rest right now building your calm and do you know that you have that calm and confidence deep down within you settling yourself down calm and confidence drifting up to the [Music] surface so I'd like you at first to let only your eyelids rest now letting every tiny muscle and every nerve ending rest and let go don't worry about the rest of you just concentrate wait on letting your eyelids rest that's right making them more comfortable now let the feeling of comfort spread Right Through The Eyes feel the comfort and know it's safe to enjoy those feelings of comfort now and as you listen to the sound of my voice and as a calm feeling is beginning to come upon you so you you can begin to feel the Comfort spreading further and every place that it touches in your mind and your body you can notice that Comfort spreading calm and now your eyelids are really resting can you notice the different parts of your body beginning to feel more comfortable now and now I'd like you to allow that that relaxation to deepen you allow no tension to come into you at all you can allow your mind to clear totally of all worries and concerns and I want you to know that all forms of tension that you may have had are all lifted from you and you will feel very very [Music] relaxed now you can allow your inner mind to show you standing at the top of a fine marble staircase with 10 steps leading down there is a firm handrail and here you feel safe and secure nothing concerns you nothing bothers you at all and in a moment you can walk down that staircase face and as you hear me count off each of the steps you can step down one step doubling your relaxation with every step you take 10 doubling your relaxation going deeper nine deeper still eight letting go of tension as you relax and go deeper seven doubling your [Music] relaxation deeper still six aware now of your breathing and how comfortable it has become five each gentle breath relaxes you you relax more With Every Breath You Take Four deeper even deeper into a wonderful state of relaxation three doubling your relaxation going even deeper two the deeper you go the better you feel and you go deeper the better you feel one almost all the way down into total relaxation zero now stepping off the bottom step and you find yourself in a place that's comfortable and safe for you to be a place place of Safety and Security no stress just a calm peaceful place nobody wanting anything nobody expecting anything as you drift deeper now what have I told you that every step you've taken every challenge you've overcome and and every effort you put into your journey has made you a [Music] success there have been many times in your life when you've shown resilience determination and an unwavering Spirit proving that success is not just a destination but a continuous fulfilling [Music] Journey so just take a moment now to really recognize your achievements so far and allow yourself to reflect on how good that makes you feel absorb those feelings of Pride because it is that sense of completion of satisfaction which is so important to your well-being in life because when we motivate and we achieve our goals it makes us feel truly happy truly satisfied and fulfilled and it is that sense of happiness that sense of satisfaction which helps you create the positive changes you're looking for in the future so you can hold on to those feelings as a reminder as a motivator for the future know and believe whatever your mind can conceive your mind can achieve whatever you believe you can achieve you will achieve and this creates space in your mind to allow positive thoughts to grow and as this happens you can feel your mind opening up to New Opportunities and this gives you the opportunity to become more aware of some of the wide ranges of resources which are yours which are within you have always been there and are there for your own use and as you become more aware of these resources you believe in yourself more every day and you realize that you're capable of making the proper decisions and having the confidence to carry them through you have all the capability all the capacity to make new and good things happen each day with each new situation you tell yourself I can I will I can I will and these words go through your mind reminding you to do the things you want to do those things you need to do with a calm open mind feeling at ease and confident within yourself and it's a beautiful feeling and so as you continue to relax you can also be aware of how easy it is for you to communicate with that innermost part of you that is the very essence and substance of the person that you really are here you can address all your hopes your Ambitions and know all of your strengths and capabilities you have been aware now for some time of your own inner advisor and have begun to listen more closely than before to that voice within you that really does give you good counsel that part of you that knows all about you and recognizes too those factors that make you the person you [Music] are this is the part of you that can make all of those changes you wish to make in the way you've been thinking and in the manner in which you resolve all situations changes for the better have been occurring within as they are occurring now some you're already aware of others will be recognized as you find new and more positive ways to deal with all situations and all people you no longer accept the negative view to you the glass is always half full negative thoughts negative emotions are a thing of the past they are damaging to you and in accepting a negative you always hurt you yes you are hurt yourself whenever you experience a negative thought or emotion your subconscious mind is ready and will help you instantly turn your thought around to one that is beneficial and serves your best [Music] interests and your feelings of confidence and calm grow stronger and stronger with every passing moment see yourself now asserting yourself as that calm and confident person as you make your decisions reach your conclusions to the importance and action required you are now that comfortable and calm person who is confident with the knowledge that you carry within confident in your own abilities as you exercise your calm orderly approach to everyday tasks and as you do this others appreciate you more and their confidence in you grows stronger as you exercise your special qualities acquired calm confidence you will experience more each day the satisfaction and self- pride that go hand inand with your new confident Manner and those things that in the past cause you concern are now easy and of no concern in fact you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy they become for you now accept the things do not need to be difficult to Warrant Merit each new task each new challenge is now a pleasure because you're aware of the simple truth truth the truth that you're at your best when you are relaxed and the most that anybody can expect of you is that you do your best a mistake is simply an opportunity to do it better next time you are now that person whom you wish the world to see aware now of your true value as a unique and special person person looking outwards from yourself to those around you aware that you have all that you need to be certain that the decisions you make for yourself are the right ones for you and those who are close to you you now take the decision to be responsible and caring for yourself for you know that this is the way you can be at your best and give of your best For Those whom you love and care for and as you do this your true personality will shine through others will warm to you and your bonds will grow stronger as your relationships grow and develop you are calm confident self assured and so you now choose to switch your focus dissolving negative belief systems which might normally hinder you and allowing those negative patterns and programs of the past to just dissolve now and in your mind's eye you can actually see those belief systems turning to dust turning to dust and just blowing away away in the Winds of time becoming part of your past no longer a part of your future all behind you as you release those ties which have bound you you can now be aware of that pleasure you find moving towards your goals so that all of your efforts become a pleasure so that all of your efforts are colored with with those feelings of satisfaction and achievement the anticipation of success is almost as sweet as the achievement of those goals and you find it easy to motivate now as you recognize that even working towards a goal can be a pleasure in itself even the anticipation of success is a sweetness all of its own because when we're on course when we're already in the process of manifesting our wishes and our desires then we feel strong and empowered and once this is clear to you once this is understood then you're so much more willing to embrace those opportunities that present themselves confidently without doubt and and you know that you can make good decisions about which of those opportunities you choose to pursue without doubt and you know that you can make good decisions about which opportunities you choose to pursue you choose to trust yourself to credit yourself with the recognition you are able to Choose Wisely that you are able to discern that which serves you from that which doesn't and so you know beyond doubt that you can trust your judgment trust your own feelings so you know when something feels right for you so that you know without doubt when opportunities arise whether or not they're right for you and you will trust your decisions with increasing confidence as you find more and more that each decision you make leads you on to greater and greater happiness greater and greater success and now whil you Ponder on those thoughts I want to tell you about the bird in the cage the bird had lived there for a very long time often it would look through the bars of the cage and out of the window to the meadows and the trees Beyond it could see other birds flying free in the open air and it would often wonder how it would feel to have the sun on its back the wind in its feathers to swoop and to saw and when the bird thought of these things it could feel its heart beating with excitement it would sit taller on its perch and breathe deep into its Bird's belly sensing the thrill of possibility sometimes another bird would land on the window window sill resting from his travels and he looked inside at the Caged Bird The Traveler would put his head on one side and ask itself how such a thing could be a bird in a cage unimaginable and it was at these times that the Caged Bird felt the most miserable his little shoulders slumped and it felt a lump in his throat and a heaviness in his heart heart one day the owner of the Cage Bird accidentally left the door of the cage open the bird looked through the door he saw the bird swooping and soaring outside the sun on their backs and the wind in their feathers and it felt a stirring [Music] Inside the Cage Bird noticed the window was open and its heartbeat even faster it considered its options it was still considering them at Sunset when the owner returned and close the door to the cage the bird for whatever reasons value security over Freedom you now look to your future in a way that tells you that things will go well that you will succeed that you are special attractive intelligent and capable and and in this way you program yourself to succeed you now look to the Future and see only good things and good people are happening to you as you move forward to grasp opportunities seeing those opportunities clearly intensely aware that all your worthwhile goals are achievable you have all the confidence that you need to build upon all the capacities and capabilities to be that person you want to be special and exciting you and you alone have your best interests at heart you now take control of your life now you are taking control you trust your own judgment in all things because you know that you and you alone have your best interests and those who are close to you within your control and it is with profound satisfaction now that you Undertake and commit yourself to your own best interests utilizing to your Highest Potential your capability your special qualities accepting your feelings of self congratulation as you achieve your worthwhile goals you have all that you need to be successful and you can be more relaxed and more comfortable in every situation positive thinking can become a habit for you for habits are created through repetition the more you employ your positive attitudes of mind the stronger that habit can [Music] grow and with your new sense of confidence comes an amazing sense of motivation and freedom you begin each day with a new sense of urgency feeling energized and focused you trust your abilities knowing that you can do anything that you set your mind to you feel a new sense of optimism and hope as you realize that you Des deserve the best that life has to offer because you now use your gifts and talents to do those things that you need to do those things you want to do with a new sense of comfort and calmness you go forth now into the world looking forward with a new and determined optimism you have all that you need to be successful and you will succeed because this is a new beginning for you and you will succeed very soon maybe sometime in the coming week or perhaps even tonight I don't know exactly when but your subconscious mind knows you're going to find yourself feeling different about your life and this feeling is going going to generate a whole new way of thinking for you and you'll find yourself looking forward to each and every day being more and more motivated more and more determined to enjoy each new experience and each new day as it comes and these suggestions are firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and will grow stronger and stronger with every passing moment and I'm wondering which aspects of everything that's happened in this session will be most pleasing most satisfying to you and even the most surprising over the coming days and weeks ahead and perhaps you're wondering too and this sense of curiosity will increase over the next few days and weeks as you begin to find your noticing many positive changes in your life every day now and I can only imagine how good that will feel in a moment it will be time for you to gently awaken feeling aware of how good you feel so rested and refreshed all of those parts of you working together for your greater good a wonderful sense of satisfaction so now just feel the energy coming back into your body moving your toes your fingers feeling that need to have a good stretch all that energy spreading to every part of your body now and when you're ready opening your eyes feeling fully alert focused and
