Huge War Bunker FINALLY OPENED After Decades of Being Sealed - H.M.S Wildfire

places I don't know that that actually this is a pretty good one to have a look at because this is the film gas filtration unit of this particular bunker so you can see where it's a multi-stage filtration unit yeah I mean I don't want to stand well actually I don't know that's why this metal plates here so you can stand on it and die over the vent oh look isolate your switches just so that does this open now it's pretty locked out now I can't really open that but we go through but ya know let you can see direction of turn of motor and ya no no this is what the hell ah this there's still tons yeah move the guard out of the way yeah [Music] they really built this stuff to last and that would have been madness oh yeah yeah if you automated system is filed they could sit here and hanging crank at home you know that is very loud blow that that is very very loud you could just be pumping asbestos as yeah let's have a look through see what's up here this is probably another shaft oh yes so that given it there's no steps that would have been ventilation hence why there's all this network around it just put a pump there either in or out given that there's a ventilator sorry filtration on the side here and this would have been sealed up um that would have filtered air either in or out oh no look for filters I can't read them oops moving to figure that out post edit but are you what's in there because wow that oh yeah that insulation Alima having 867 I will share 67 so this was still in use for quite some time Wow I get moaned out by our viewers that we don't show this stuff well catch up with everyone else but as we say there's so many side rooms in this place we're not going to be able to go into every side room because we would be a rule night and we uncharacteristically normally the way we work is we first and do photos like the but with this place we had to do photos first and then we're filming afterwards we have already been through yeah now we just can't do it the other way around because we had to make sure the photos were done first because the place is yeah we've been this is just far more intricate yeah so I think what we're gonna do I mean we'll give you some history on the places we go around but I'm gonna I'll flash up a quick map of the place now but I'll also put a link in the description so that you can see a bigger resolution of the image so you can you can see for yourself how the place is laid out and what it's for so you can try and see what the different rooms are for because what we're gonna go into now is the main is the main problem which as you can see it's very very big no Stan are the original fans on the scene it oh all from the Second World War but unfortunately this room did suffer some vandalism a couple of decades ago because the plotting room table here was intact and so was a lot of the board's unfortunately as you can see got pretty burnt out oh yeah well we'll go downstairs and we'll show this signage in a minute but I let a little bit of it survived yeah they did you see how we go down there but what's unique about this I mean some of the tunnels we've been down when look at the size of the network yeah it's absolutely stunning the the size of the pieces of metal they used to reinforce this absolutely ridiculous yeah got absolutely massive nuts these guys there's so much of the old equipment here I mean this was never part of this machine would be my guess six volts and then isn't there's a switch there so I don't want to turn it too hard I don't want a brake kit there or they big capacitors on the end yeah the transformer well done this is gonna turn into one of those isn't it but it's just all these little bits telephone and comms lines you just don't see along this but yeah unfortunately a couple of decades ago this place got hit by vandals pretty hard a massive fire in this main room but we'll move through will move through storage cupboard that's bogus they even bolted it to floor malice I know this place it just has wicked nuts cielos oh let's go down let's go down into the plotting room first and we should show you some of the things that have survived well not that yeah I mean but that's pretty dangerous to go up there given how deep we are on the ground it's not really worth it but what's quite nice as this has survived original so I find that interesting they've got they've got like a serve ability ranking so a new serve ability would be one how badly damaged the ship is yes Wow so they put the bottle yeah no so basically there would always be a constant pressure or vacuum in these tubes and they'd send messages throughout the bunker using these that's incredible that's well spotted badger honestly you this must be one of the earliest examples of that yeah this vacuum tube yeah yeah well so yeah civilian shipping basically and pender shipping anyways these are the only ones that survived a lot of a lot of the things in this place got burned out quite badly and fortunately no they were from the windows it's no they're from the windows well most of the glass and the floor would have come from up top because all of those would have our glass panels in them and obviously I smashed out when those people are starting to fire so yeah yeah alright Dan tunnels we fell off yeah that's cute game is it this way we want to go the other way yeah oh yeah now we've got check out that either I mean it's worth going into at least one of these slide rooms I mean to me yeah I mean as I say I mean please refer to the map in which we put the description in the link because there are so many of these side rooms that we simply can't you know trying to walk about we can't identify them so they would have been you know for so we keep going there's nothing new this one but yeah you have at least got some of the original silent signage conference room yeah which means down there but again this place is surprisingly it's not as big as it looks well taken yeah it is big but it's not massive but it is very easy to get lost down here because everything kind of looks the same granted you're not lost belong no oh well the doors still got opsroom yeah somebody something there but oh yeah no one writes that before they've still got arrows dictating what ways out or something maybe we'll go that way in a minute that's going this way ah here we go is this the yes okay so they would have had a lot of people working in here mainly women and all of this is communications and you can see where their stations would have been and they've got terminals there for their telephones and power and light sockets as well yep it's really quite good yeah maybe yeah I mean there are original photos of this I mean you have a little google around you'll find them and even in those original photos you'll see this this partition wall here that moves I mean I'm not going to try moving so that's probably pretty stuck and I would have been the main supply shaft got main ventilation running down the entire length yes I know that's not where time dig in oh yeah I mean yeah I mean you can see that yet the ladders up here but this this lot wasn't here originally so so I'm a Bradford just climbed the bloody thing but yeah all this scaffolding spoon afterwards so if you were to climb this you just be going up the ladders down oh it's great fun way yeah well good I'll tell you one is it just well this concrete shaft what does that remind you of it reminds me of the Royal Marines the refugee but with stairs yeah so you can see where they use the same different kinds of you know construction technical don't worry yeah that's been so they've been digging it goes down in layers that's really cool right let's say yeah you climbed up yet it's good laugh regardless I've already determined that this was the diesel storage for all of the backup generators that just go did you want to tell the camera the edge won't say
