HUGE FAIL: This Cursed Recovery Broke ALL Of Our Equipment

yeah a little bit of a pickle so we took our snow cat up and we were able to move it a little bit with the help of the boom but it's just too much for our small cast a 30 000 pound telehandler yes yes our snow cat is eight thousand pounds hey it's so Kitty compared to this yeah ours is it's like a kitten yeah a little love child of this so he called us obviously they've got a telehandler client or a friend of yours whatever up here uh it's buried and we got a lot of snow this winter and telehandlers don't do well in deep snow So the plan is to just use brute strength of the Beast drag it Down the Mountain Road get it out for them they got it out a little bit yesterday but it looks like it's in a little bit of a pickley spot now yeah yeah so we we got it unstuck and we got it restuck yeah and then it got it stuck more and that's when we came off the mountain called Dave so we knew we knew our limit yeah well good because we don't we just keep going until we have to leave a machine if I had this I would I wouldn't know my aluminum yeah you'll like this thing uh so we're gonna drive up real quick right now and check out the road see how far we get up we've got a turnaround spot up there my snow cats up there and we'll go up to that parking lot check it out kind of assess how to get there and then from there there's snow all right let's go check it out yeah [Music] [Applause] the neighborhood and then just heard about another vehicle or something up here that's stuck so we're gonna be helping the neighbors with that and uh and the tele-hander down anytime we're the Beast here I can plow and kind of make the road a little bit better for it which I'll probably do in some spots but for the most part that thing's just got enough brute strength to just tug this thing out since this is drivable it'll be able to help kind of crawl itself through so uh that helps a ton biggest thing is just making sure that uh it doesn't want to slide off the road because it's going to be just getting drugged through all this stuff so we're gonna pick up the arm you wanna pick this up real quick for me it's not moving yet hydraulic fluid go a little bit and then we'll doubled up where was it down there yeah well yeah it feels the old crap box got it out here but it couldn't get no further maybe or may not have used this may have helped itself but I couldn't have a tough on this hole we tried yeah no it you have it a valiant effort and then we decided to call you they don't have the power to pick up the front and pull itself right yeah yeah it doesn't have that suck in power so it's not one chain flip the other one so thank you they won't need a chain who's running at you it's your way around the telehandler [Music] [Music] [Music] the pin just slipped up now one thing he wants push it back with uh with it because you're pulling the arm out we're going to disconnect from the boom and go right to the Mainframe so that we're not pulling on the Hydraulics because it's I stand next we're gonna double up the ropes so we're gonna put two 20 Footers right next to each other in d-rings and get two inches of pulling power you got a pole yeah [Music] and that's no good [Applause] foreign just wanted to turn that tire so we're going to need to get it straight go talk to hillbilly [Music] looks like he's Gonna Roll but he's probably not it's just going to slump off the side um basically just need to get him out of this hole a trail uh bigger the ropes here believe it or not this is a lot of freaking weight on this thing so uh one wrong move and the Rope to get caught on like a sharp edge or something so it's taking our time to make sure that's done right you know by power there's all you man was all I just I went like this and said go and it went [Music] foreign [Music] that way stuck that direction and it pulled you right off meanwhile you've got to be kidding me we've come up here three times it's that big rut I was trying to stay out of it the track came off no way well let's get out and assess the damage [Music] just when we thought the recovery was over that is not looking so hot that doesn't look fun but what why did you do that because that rut caught it nothing broke it just pushed the track off because that rut so deep make the phone call hillbilly what your rut made a fling a freaking track off hold your brakes and stop Dave [Laughter] well right now Dave's stuck we're trying to get him unstuck no way well uh the other snow cat threw a track he's just grading off the road here to try to make it so uh he doesn't sink as far as he did Dave the update is the harness shorted out the snow packed up did something on the main harness and it's all fried the main power that's going off to the machine I can only see one end of the wiring harness and it's all burned so it got so hot it melted the uh uh uh all the uh insulation off the wires it goes in you got it off the battery because main positive goes to the starter starter all the way down harness inside caught on the other end and it's all fried the main tower uh uh that's exciting try cranking it nothing problem with the main fuse on that line will this even operate no power nope all right I'm gonna I'm gonna plow through here and try to open this up a little bit it's in a matter of about 10 minutes all hell broke loose Robbie was trying to do donuts or something and pop the track off um actually what happened was we were dragging a telehandler and it was leaving like three foot ruts because that thing's just a pig and so he got kind of caught up in one of my reps and it just got his track at a weird angle and then the telehandler just decided to quit wiring harness burnt up I think it's from the turbo so we'd get Robbie pulled out get his track hopefully back on put on a grease gun so it could be a little tricky um but we haven't we have this big snow cap so pick it up drag it over here and then we'll go down the toolbox the telehandler and see what we can do there here's our Knight and Shining Armor and he's pushing snow as he comes he's got the chariot [Applause] it should because this is what happens when you have what happened that's not where that goes pop a track oh my help that that rut I knew it that's why I was trying to straddle it and it sucked it and just ripped well just came right off I don't think anything's broke let's hook up to your front and then let's just drag the track behind me yeah I'll pull you forward sideways yeah let me um I'm gonna plow this out a little bit and then let's come up and hook up to your two d-rings up in front of my bucket okay and then I'll just pick you up and drag you all right oh foreign [Music] [Music] Robbie's snow cap we've laid on this to pick it up get it nice and level so we track back under there and then um we're gonna grab some tools and head over to the telehandler to see if we can get it started again if it doesn't want to start we might have to [Music] if it doesn't want to start we'll have to see if we can Freewheel the hubs and just tow it down dead Beast has the power to do it I actually probably would prefer to pull it dead rather than uh they're driving because it was just all all in place you've got to get the snow cap fixed first this is insane we're stuck the telehandler is stuck oh man so what's happening here is Dave's making a ramp [Music] okay so we don't have locks [Music] I'll set it back down and let's I'll pull the snow back and let's dig around with the shovel yeah get that nice and cleared out we should be able to have enough room to work so yeah [Music] [Music] I forgot the tools so we just had to drive all the way back down to the bottom four miles Bud's down at the semi getting the tools we're gonna bring them up load them on the snow cap go back up to the top get Robbie's track on and then figure out what to do with that telehandler because getting dark here and gonna get interesting so foreign [Music] good news we got that start bad news that track didn't put itself on it didn't put itself on until we start digging it sinks and so now the tires are sitting on dirt we just need to lift up a little bit if the telehandler was there and can come on the back and just lift up a little bit I think if you drag this down there yeah yeah if we got a stuck over there so we've taken the wires and we have a like a we had some crappy jumper cables we cut the clamp off and it's holding the wires together and it starts all right so [Applause] foreign [Music] hopefully this is it to this point then we have four more miles just leave it okay so um let me uh I can push anything with my blade a little bit [Music] you're gonna have to try to come into it and left it while we all kind of push okay hold on hold on hold it come down a little I think if we get it on the front one and then lift the back okay go out a little more out down roll go up boom out uh tip it a little bit wonderful we've left it with the telehandler if the Hydraulics will hold it come back up a little what are we doing so close but so far um um foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] huh more rigging hit Pay Dirt pretty much our option right now [Music] right now the telehand was just kind of hanging and it's not coming out with a couple of other without a couple others which aren't currently available so I'm not sure what the plan is with that but I mean at least it's off the road [Music] oh we broke the main hydraulic the main hydraulic yeah supply line this big huge hose [Applause] oh yeah can we try to get that thread out let's put some tools looks threaded to me let me fire it up again real quick without turning the auxiliary hydraulics on and see if it uh supply pressure to that or not oh man well now something else where'd you learn this trick the farm as a farmer fix right here the thing it wouldn't have stopped turning ah just don't understand why it just wanted to go straight off the side of the road so bad well we're coming around this sharp turn right here well I mean the whole time it kept going down the side of the road don't don't look at it yeah maybe okay and then try to back up a little bit okay everybody out of the way let's just watch see what happens foreign we're walking down the mountain we're about three miles up right now and uh blue line of snow cat don't have the parts to fix it lock the trail so the people above us that came down to give us a ride can't actually give us our ex they can't get around the snow cat and we got to get it fixed because we're blocking the trail guys best pizza I've ever had how's your yeah household Pizza on the mountain fantastic yeah it's pepperoni with little flakes of snow on top of it oh hey it's me again let's head back up the mountain for the I don't know how many times it's been a lot of times though we got Parts pieces tools equipment fluid snowmobile an extra truck an extra guy let's go get the snow cap and what time is it it's like two or three a.m we all just went somewhere in the semi and came back and all kind of fell asleep for a second and Nate doesn't know what year it is should be good and you got a bud it is approximately 3 18 A.M and we're going to rescue his stuff Ford Ranger Tommy one and only we have 14 gallons of ATF all right all right I better get it wisely better get us down I brought Bondo I'm gonna plug that line off with Bondo maybe I'm gonna use brake cleaner you can clean the oil then we'll get it all cleaned up I'm gonna try to get a bolt that'll fit in it I'm gonna use Bondo and tilt this off and if it blows out like a missile we'll do something different [Music] it's all clean more fluid because the hose will be a bigger diameter than that metal insert yeah you get something down before it and it hardens up well so this has a like a wall on it in there so if we just pack it full and then put the bolt in it it'll harden up to blow out it's gonna have to blow it all out we got a hammer we can pound it in say we twist it in let's grab my big napex pliers Let's Twist this in with do you have putty in it no no yeah the thread and then we'll Bondo it only pushes this thing nice it has like 400 PSI or something oh so I think it's not need it yet and we're threading it yeah there we go that'll almost do it Dave this is like yeah perfect size so I say I'm going to cut some threads we're going to jam it full of that fiberglass puts it back in it won't come out of there that kind of heck no even if it's slow leaking no as long as it's not spewing twirling it back up get this unhooked and get it down the mountain look what happened to that ramp and the tiller went up dude that's massive let's take a shaft down look at that I know I'm just gonna bottom This Thread out and then we'll back it out that's right let's give it a shot you want to try it before we do it well we ought to put some Teflon tape or something so it don't leak let's do the Teflon I like the Teflon either black cape I don't know if it's coming out it'll come out well you're holding it in the wrong position you need to be put here give it to me I'll push down I'd say oh that's like dang tight I was going pretty tight yeah I think teflon's gonna do the trick and just as well what year is it yeah like 2042 what's today it's like what day of the week is it the eighth day of the week these two are just zombies look at that we're threaded holy crap we're almost all the way through it's like a pipe cap too this might be easier than we probably go up and clean up the road at least to where we we tugged it clean up the ruts clean up the dirt here cover up that dirt make this basically snow again and then head down and then we'll 30 in the morning repair with a big Bolt foreign [Music] [Music] ran out of fuel out of fuel no diesel of course [Laughter] um we're like an eighth of a mile from the truck and we just ran out of fuel in the snow cap I mean it's literally just one thing after another today that just on top of everything else we run out of fuel oh should we run into Ferry and grab five more gallons it pumped up son would poor little guy are we siphon any out of the semi yeah if we have a tube we gotta we got a hose a favorite part of this day Little Nate just just a chipper guy not today he's bad news Nate today it's like a trumpet around he's like stomping on the snow foreign good call if it doesn't start the battery switches are right below the seat oh you're right just left just go run I don't have never
