How wide is TOO WIDE??

Thanks for the lens Canon I'm just gonna Just gonna leave it there should be fine I'll just let them know, I'll text them And let them know it's there Should be fine Yeah, should be fine Look at this guy! Look at that! Brings me coffee! I know I want to try out the 11.. What is it? The 11-24.. The 11-24 11-24 f4 Everybody's been telling me like "dude, you gotta try it" I'm just gonna pull up my vehicle here And I'm going to wait right outside the the front doors of Canon Until they bring me set lens You watch. They'll come they'll come Just waiting for my lens.. Waiting for my lens I've been waiting for you for ages There you go Right to the truck Watch it. It's flappy in there Okay hang on Oh god Uhhh look at that element! Okay so I wasn't using the 24.. lens very much at all Like I used it a couple times but it's just like, you know what I'd rather grab something that I could, you know use and utilise more on a lot of the things and types of photography and cinematography that I do So, I hit up my friend to Canon and I was like "I need to try the 11-24 So they hooked it up I got one on loan right now It's to test it, to see if I like it So, what should we do? We should go film stuff that's wide angle Or like, I kinda want to put this lens through its paces a little bit Ans show you guys a little but about you know, why.. I mean it's 35000 dollars, canadians So that's like, that's... That's such an expensive lens And I kinda want to know why it's so expensive and if it's cool, and if it's good And does it suck And is it amazing and I feel like that's what I kinda want to do right now So let's go do that Hang on a second Okay I'm back I did a little bit of shooting with this lens Heres' the thing I want to love this lens Because, everybody I've talked to has been like "yo, this lens uhuh This lens is money And it looks amazing. It's heavy, it's super heavy Cause there's so much glass in it You can't put a lens filter on the front But they've actually made a little spot on the back where you can put like some sort of filter mount on the back I've never seen this before so But there's a little sloth for a filter to go in the back Interesting Anyway The first experience I had with a wide angle lens was a 16-35 and I had that on a full frame 5D Mark II And when I saw a 16mm on a 5D Mark II for the first time I was like "woow wide angle is life!" I'm gonna shoot everything wide for the rest of my life It's just so good. And I did! I went on like a huge wide angle kick for like a good year And then I bought the 14mm lens and that lens is insane and incredible as well Then I switched to a 24 and now I'm back to using a 16-35 And I thought, I've got a really exciting project coming up at the end of this month That I'm just ... to tell you guys about. So I though You know what? I would love to road test this to see if it's something I want to bring with me on this project But I gotta say I'm not sure why everyone loved it so much And if anybody in the comments If you guys used this or if any of you have it, please comment below And let me know why you love it and what it is about it that you love so much
