[How To] Wash & Go on FINE Natural Hair:: FIRST TIME EVER! + TIPS

[Music] [Music] okay G hey guys welcome back to my channel recently fast today we have a special guest that we're gonna do a wash and go on her hair for the first time we washed with the tgin curls and roses line she has fine hair we're not sure of the porosity level but she has medium length fine hair and her curl pattern it's probably a little bit looser I am so excited for you all to see you know what this wash and go looks like I'm even excited for her to see what it looks like Oh in herself because like I said she's never worn a wash and go before and we're just talking all about products and how to pick out products and all of that so I hope you guys enjoy okay guys we're back so we have a special guest today she's gonna do a watch and go for the first time and we're using kinky curly products we just finished putting the knot today leaving all over her hair we did a deep conditioning treatment with the TJ and curls and roses and then we did shampoo with the tgin cousin roses as well so right now I'm gonna go ahead and go in with the kinky curly custard this is so good I do like the curls this is turning out really good very easy like super easy you could literally do this in the shower if you wanted to cuz so I did decide to put the eco styler gel on top and that's because we want to really make sure that these curls stay so that's after you wait right through with the kinky curly okay what do you do to help with like the shrinkage part as you can see I'm really worried about that point I don't know want it to be right it is so the good thing about it is these products like the gel is wearing your hair down the raking as you're pulling it down you know all of this is helping to elongate your curls okay and then once we dry it under the hair dryer that's also going to help to freeze your curls in place mm-hmm and then once it's all dry we'll go in with the blow-dryer and stretch out your roots okay and so I'll use the tension method which is how I like to stretch out my curls what do you color your hair yeah I'm afraid to do anything to my hair that's so perfect this is natural natural yeah I don't do you saw that definite something about this product yeah I'm loving the curls okay guys this is what we working wait in the back she just we just finished the whole back of her hair you can see it's moving the curls are clumped and defined perfect show you guys we were pleasantly surprised in the bag hopefully I'm able to capture that but we're here section by section this moisture the leave-in conditioner is doing a really good job at keeping the moisture in right there so now we're going in with the kinky curly custard let me show you just about how much I know there's a lot mm-hmm okay about just you know medium medium side let's see if you can see that oh yeah you can't perfect so because we have this size section I'm probably gonna add more but this is what I'm starting off with just to see and the double is to make sure that all of your hair strands are getting coated so if I feel like the roots oftentime need a little bit more it's enjoy then I'm gonna probably just put a little bit more on there but you can see how it's already helping to define her hair so I'm not I'm not gonna apply any more kinky curly that was just enough I won't go ahead and do the eco styler gel and so I like to concentrate the eco styler gel by your edges I mean by your roots and then smooth it on down just because we want your roots to be too late even though we're gonna lift them back up once it dries but I am just smoothing it all into your hair and I can feel it it's not taking long for it to coat all of strands and you can see the difference too so it's giving it a crisper hold and so as it dries it'll also dry like that and this is what we're gonna separate these big clunks are what we're gonna separate and you're really looking for definition and volume right yep okay all right so that's just with the kinky curly as you can see it still looks really good and the eco styler is not a necessity like you could probably try and just do a wash and go with a kinky curly and still get good results only reason why I'm adding the eco styler gel is because it's raining this stuff out okay so yeah you guys look at those curls they're just so easily defining oh I'm so excited do you feel like this is something you can do at home yeah I don't like it but you know how it is when you go to somebody and it's just like I made it seem so easy you get home it's just like okay but they only did this why can't I achieve this thing look that's what I'm a little nervous about so once we get to this side I might let you just try to define it you get the bottom part yes you are yes we don't have to cover it up cause this is real fixable yeah if it's just using more product or you know you getting a feel of how much product to tears [Music] so on this side she's gonna try open so go ahead and section off your first section what you put this in my go mm-hmm so more water make sure you get in your roots okay there you go yep okay so that's the water curly is that good uh Lissy Lissy so just rake it through make sure you're getting your ends and the roots okay this for me mm-hmm mm-hmm do some more yep and make sure you're getting it on the ends I would even concentrate it on my aunt specifically when you put like you ain't showing it is no okay that's for me do you feel like all of the hair is coated I feel like I don't look like yours yet okay [Music] Bob you just don't look like maurices that's so funny so one thing would be more water and more product okay mm-hmm what do you think just I don't feel like your word we haven't played the gel on you okay I'm gonna have a whole attack and so here's the thing when you're doing it so now you know when you did it the first time you probably could have played like a more well there yeah like for you to feel it there you go and now just and don't forget to concentrate on the ends like you gonna stop leaving these ears oh yeah okay perfect see there you go no no no it feels like more exhaust so one thing is when you're raking the product through I just like to kind of claw and that helps to form the curls it's it just like that and so when your client minions that's how you'll clump what's together that's how the curls look like so how did you I'm here feel nice boys moisture let me feel it really quick ok yeah feels good oh it just a tad bit more water just making sure it's wet enough that's right so that the product is sliding through and it actually helps to activate it to Samantha Jim how much did you use it is mm-hmm more than it yeah cuz I just did one I would do a little bit more there you go because we're using medium sized section so make sure you get the hose actually right you know where you go mm-hmm student learning she's like me I see how those hands i licking okay what do you think I think it's looking like the back a little bit it is let's put a little bit more on those and stuff that's one thing I could just see it kind of opens I get there's a lot that's perfect okay are you happy okay G you could do this at home that was how do you think that wind I think it I can do it I think I can do it that's good that's that's that's it that's all we want to hear before so you can see the curves what do you think do you think is shrunken up to the part that you were afraid of no it's not too bad I just wish this of course this I was fuller but like you said it's gonna get a little bit more when I'm gonna dress but the length right now is not bad okay so we'll be back she's gonna sit under the dryer and then we'll come back and show you all and what it looks like from under the dryer as we stretch and fluff alright guys so we're back this is mostly dry so what we're gonna do is I'm going to go ahead and try the inside so it's not dry like along the bottom part so I'm going to take the blow dryer and I'm also going to stretch it while I do that before I get started I just have a light oil that I'm gonna put on my hands and kind of rub as I'm trying to like break the cast and so like just rubbing your finger down the Strand it's gonna help to separate it and it's gonna take away that crunchy feel without taking away the definition or creating phrase [Music] all right and I want to do this on low heat to start off with because I'm drying it and then I'll go in with [Music] [Applause] [Music] let's see so the more you see it kind of getting longer mm-hmm we can go to that really target that bottom layer to give it that for like you know the full stretch and it drops day by day exactly okay each day it'll drive you know once you so you don't want to do too much too much manipulation in the okay exactly okay you don't want to do too much especially not in the beginning because it will still you know it'll yeah it'll become like I like it though I gotta get used to it because I feel bought him wearing my own hair cuz I'm used to having you know bundles or my braids in and then your hair is soft so I'm happy I did put the eco styler gel on top of it because I feel like you could get more frizz you know what I mean just cuz you're hair is soft I'm like really like excited right now yeah alrighty so this is the final product her hair is very very soft naturally and like the products are good let me just say I can't take all the credit for that let's have you turn around can you guys see the definition my definition is definitely there she says she just has to get used to it look at the movements come on come on you can turn it all the way up there you go perfect she just has to get used to the look right there around with different styles to see how to frame her face
