HOW TO: MINI TWISTS ON FINE 4C NATURAL HAIR..VERY DETAILED | DEDEATHOME

[Music] hey guys welcome back to my channel ladies DD and I'm here with a hair tutorial oh my goodness I know this is a first for me here on my channel if you are new if you have been tuning into my hair tutorials this is the very first time they I have ever done a natural hair style on myself and it is not a pouf you guys can go back and look at my channels whenever I am eating in my old videos whenever I have done a hair tutorial here on this channel I'm doing braids I'm rocking a wig a unit or I'm doing a puff on my hair using some other type of hair to do some type of updo with my hair this is my first time you guys that I'm actually going to attempt to wear my natural hair I'm so excited I'm really really excited about doing this guys I have seen the mini twist here on YouTube I watched several different videos and I just say you know what I'm gonna go for my sister pumped me up too and she was like I think this will be so cute on your hair so those of you that don't know I do have fine 4c type hair maybe in some areas it's a bit 4b I'm not quite sure but my hair is just very fine and I'm not going to lie to you guys I have not loves my natural hair I really have not because you know you see on YouTube you see on Instagram all these different styles and everybody's hair is you know big and it's beautiful and your hair when it doesn't look like that you really don't want to rock it because honestly it doesn't give you the look that you actually admire or the look that you fall for on Instagram and so I just had coming to you know a moment of myself and I said you know what I'm going to start to love my natural hair from what it is and so I started looking trying to figure out what style could I do on my hair that I can try that I actually could do myself so I went searching and that's when I came up on the MIDI twist so this is what this tutorial is about I'm finally doing the mini twist on my hair and I absolutely love it so far I love this style so excited to see what it looks like when it is completely dry after these twists have been in my hair for several days and I know the older look looks the better it's gonna look to me and I'm just look just ready for it I'm you know excited I'm gonna be doing different styles stay - and I'm gonna do different styles rockin these mini twists so if you are not subscribed to my channel go ahead and finish up the rest of my hair so I'm just to kind of give you a rundown of whatever waiting on my hair so for I have a leave-in conditioner which is my favorite leave-in conditioner and it is by meal organics it's a leave-in conditioner pomegranate and honey and then I have in the on top of that I have the on Jackie's coconut cream butter cream intensive moisture seal it I love my hair has actually dry because I did the majority of this off-camera but it is already like I said it has a leave-in conditioner and the moisturizer on it so I'm just gonna kind of reread re-wet my hair to reactivate the product and then I'll kind of talk to you about what I'm doing my hair okay so this is what it looks like and I'm going to be using a couple products and I do these mini twists first off for the base and don't ask me why I'm using these products this is kind of just what I grab so for my inch control I'm going to be using the 24-hour an edge firm edge controller by even and then I'm going to use some of this shine and jam on my hair is will and it's good for natural hair with honey it has extra hold and then I'm also going to be using this on Jackie's don't shrink flexi their long gating curl gel because you guys my hair shrinks so bad you can see as I start twisting my hair how long it is and just what it shrinks up to whatever so I'm just kind of using this product to kind of help out so I'm just going to go ahead and get started and I haven't put any oil on my hair I'm just going to do that all in in the end to save time but what I'm using now is the gym for my hair and I'm just putting in here at the root [Music] and then I'm going to take my brush and kind of brush that down and I just thought to do this because I thought that if I do that then maybe the twist will stay a little bit longer I don't know and so then I'm just going to take my comb and I'm just going to part off actually I think I'm going to probably get two rows out of these [Music] yeah I'm gonna do two rows so I'm just gonna repeat that step so then after dude I do that and that's what I'm gonna go in with the Flexi gel and again I just want to make sure my hair is wet but at night dripping wet and then I'm just gonna take just a little bit of gel and just rub that down to the ends of my hair like so and then we're just gonna start to strand twisting I know I just my hair in a different direction than most people I don't know this is just how always twisting my hair growing up and I've tried to do it the other direction and I can do it it just takes longer so I guess I'm just more comfortable doing it this way and so this is kind of what I stick with what I'm doing my hair [Music] I thought about doing like a braid first like um a traditional braid and then go into the two strand twist but since this is my first time I just decided to just do completely a two strand twist all the way down and then if I don't like it over time then I'll try and do it the other way next time but eventually once I get down to kind of this part of my hair I just take it and wrap it around and then you can kind of see it already starts to shrink up [Music] so the process of me parting my hair and I didn't do this in the back every time but my thought process with it is to try and do kind of staggered if you can see and then that way all of my twists won't be coming down like on top of each other and they can kind of go in between the boxes and I just think that is going to help they're kind of finished for my hair since my hair is so fine and you won't see a lot of gaps so that's why I decided to do it that way [Music] [Music] so once I come to the hair that's at the very front of my head that's when I'll go in and use the edge control edge tamer [Music] you guys have to excuse my baby hairs I am NOT a list get decorative with baby hairs I'm just a simple let me swoop it down and keep it moving so you're not gonna see any fancy baby here designs along my hairline cuz I don't do all of it I'm too old for that then she's not my thing so I'm very simple when he comes to my baby ears [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] when you hand me from the side by the way you said the way you wrote a bunny yeah but I thought your energy wasn't used to being loved and treated to make sure you pay attention to your other here because I've gotten my other twist kind of caught in to the new twist and if you do decide to part your hair make sure you don't do only part in the space that's available because I've also kind of gone into a previous twist that's already been done so make sure you pay attention to that as weel if your focus don't you make me change mama if you love me baby don't baby don't you baby don't you baby don't you hey don't you baby told you babies don't want you switch up to five will you take me on a trip I've always I've been down and back and forth a merry-go-round I just wanna get it right but when you go left I'm stuck here feeling left be high something went wrong knows that cross and now we're going let's go where we were when no one gets hurt don't you stress yourself it's trying to pick the pace up we should take this slow baby keep your focus time to make a change my if you love me please don't switch up the bath baby don't you baby don't you don't you want you kind of be flipped over going this direction but I wanted to have a little bit of lift to it like a little bit of height to it so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna braid all of this hair going over to this side but then I'm gonna flip it over as it's finished so you'll kind of see you'll guys get the hang of what I'm talking about as I do it and hopefully comes every baby keep your focus don't you make me change mama if you love me baby don't you so chew baby don't you ladies don't you [Music] [Applause] so again the top so again what I'm doing is I'm paying attention to the part because I don't want my parts to line up with each other I want them to be staggered so my hair will fall correctly and then remember I wanted to have a little bit of height so I'm actually going to bring the hair over to this side and twist it
