[Music] hello viewers hope you all are doing well in today's video we will see how to use the ocrxn of power automate desktop we will use the ocr action to extract text from an image and save the output in a readable format so let's start i'll create a new flow i will name it ocr demo two okay because there's already an ocr demo okay now in the accent pin we'll search for ocr xn and we will expand this and now we will create a tesseract ocr engine so basically tesseract is an open source ocr engine and modi stands for microsoft office document imaging ocr engine but i will use the tesseract ocr engine i will leave the parameters as it is and i will just save this now i will extract the text from a given source in the function you can see it will take the value the which one is the ocr engine which we have used earlier in our previous step here i will put image on this and i will pass the value i will use this as your devops image and i will choose the search mode whole of specified area now just save it now what i will do i will just create a text file it's a bit slow and i will name it hostile yard demo 2 now what i will do i will just write okay five paths i will just pass this file path which i have just now created this one text to write i will use the ocr text then it will ask for you the options whether a file exists then if you want to overwrite it or just append the content and the encoding so i will just use the overwrite existing content and then i will just save it i will also use a message box to show the text i will use as ocr message box now text to display i will use this ocr text message icon i will just put an information then okay and then i will leave the settings as it is and i will click save now we will run our power automate desktop to see the result ok you can see it has converted the image into a text so i will just open the text file also i will just open and show you the image as well it's here and this was the image actually so now you can see it has converted the image into the text file now you can just save it okay so our flow saved hope you all like this video please share and subscribe our channel for more videos on power platform thanks
