How to Upload and Download a Program from SIMATIC KTP1000 Basic DP HMI By Using TIA Portal V15.1?

welcome to my automation Tools YouTube channel today I will show how to upload and download a program from cinematic KTP 1000 basic dpsmi by using Tio portal version 15.1 oblique symmetric software version 15.1 we know in process automation most usable so today I will teach you all of the most important SMI most important CMC SMI is KTP 1000 DPA SMI so first we check the which combination cable are using in this HMI to communicate with them laptop or transferring or programming combination cable so we power up the SMI and to check the connection cable that have to be used so go to control panel and go to the transfer double click on transfer then go to the Advance here you can see the details of this combination cable here you see the board rate and the cable is used is MPI so we have to use API cable to communicate with the laptop and the SMI for upload download or configure SMI so we back and press the transfer mode you will know if we cannot paste our server but we cannot communicate so when you connect the combination Cable in pi cable between the SMI and the laptop so I am using this PC adapter USB that is MPA cable smsh is connected and laptop I am connecting a connection is completed you see you have seen the LED is blinking that is connected then we open the Tio portal version 15.1 or version 1780 you can use no problem you have to use it to a Tio portal so I open this portal after opening we go to create a new project and create new project you have to be press the project name you can put it at your design name after putting name select the folder where you want to store this created project so I select and press and create any empty folder that easily I can find out this for this I am doing this then press ok here there's also comment you can make a comment so I am making a comment upload and download program you can write this comment as your wish after writing this comment press create press create button then it is showing that in the wrong path so we have to be select the D drives so select the drive and press again clear button select the drive and press create you see creating new project it takes some time AC opposite is open and here you go to the configured device press configure device then you can see the different types of then press add new device you can select the controller is similar CSM we want to work in SMI so we select SMI then we go to the desired model number and model number is Gateway 1000 basic DP so we select and press double what double click you see in right color I am showing the our model number of HMI this is the model number so so we select this model number and press double click and it is taking time to open this SMI so you see it is creating this project then here are the difference I am setting so press index next is next Niche or you can face in Finish button let's finish when you press the Finish button opposite is open you see our project is open here we want to check the communication just communicate or not so we select the MP cable and press just search and it is trying to communicate with this SMI if the combination is okay then line is you see it is scan and retrieve completely that means it is connected and this with the address also is showing easier we have seen the address in HTML sources HMI now we want to upload project what user know so we select this smile and go to online option device maintenance you see if you not select I am again showing how you can go that SMI device management and go to backup this backup then it is taking the communication again to communicate so we select the type of easy interface MPI and press the start source you see it instead to communicate with this HMI that means how they say my coming in online it is say it is online RSM is becoming online here you see accessible device and another is and I have two MPI address access the address and the butt is not saying X is at this the address is showing you see MPI three you have to select this without select this we cannot see the create option is enabled so we select this you see to select this and create option is enabled so I am showing again select this and it is enable press script create button then the symmetic process interface will be open Optimum you see symmetric process is open and here so in the complete data here you have to select the desired folder where you want to store this uploaded project so I go to the desired folder that where I create your folder is name is cache so I select this here you can put the name upload project or you can say click as your desired folder okay create also another new folder for my easy understand I am creating an another folder named Crasher and you place the name of this uploaded project upload program and press the open Button after doing this press the she had to see the path of this ZIP project paste start backup you see when I press start back up the laptop is connected with the same SMI and program is uploading in the right corner side I am showing that the program is uploading it is showing the one or five step that means it have five step all program complete backup will be completed with the five step it is already you say the fourth step is completed a five step is the most important step then we take more time about 10 minutes you see uploading program from SMI to laptop I show you step by step how can we clear can project how can I select your device how can you save your project so I am I have show you step by step in this step you have to remind that if in the asmi side if we don't put in the transfer mode the ismi cannot be communicate with this laptop so before you doing your job you have to give place in HMI site in transform mode then you communicate that you then you use the combination cable between the laptop and HDMI then you do the work that I show you step by step you see our program is uploading you know instruments HDMI demand type of cement system are using in different factories or for different automation basic DP KTP 1000 basic DP is one of them it is the have another type is KTP 1000 basic PL the difference between the basic PL and the basic GP is that in the KTP 1000 basic PN here is the combination ahead of the different types of quantity import that is the configuration Port that is the ethernet USB a Serial port but you see in the KTV 1000 basic DP here only have one combination Port is that is the MPI cable so we use this MPI cable for this shape KTP 1000 basic dpsmi if you have KTP 1000 basic PN then you can use the ethernet cable in that can be in that place you can see the IP address then you can do this work you see our program is uploading it is ticking I have told you here before that it take more time so I am showing you the so you have to be wait some time after completing this backup after completing this backup I will show how can we restore your program in new SMI or old is old SMI if you have any problem in HTMI to doing your job so you see our program is really upload is completed noticed the right circular I show the status of the CMI you see no fault transferring five step is going on now that means our program is transferring from a semi to laptop in right side corner you're saying that SMI skin also showing that it's transferred you see the sun is completed you see there is a backup this is a transfer successfully completed that means our backup is successfully completed now I will show how can we restore a program so again we go to again we select the SMI and go to the online go to HDMI device maintenance and go to the restore button because now we want to restore the program so again we have to be communicate so we select MP and press the start search and you see it is again trying to communicate and see condition is established then you select the combination cable MPI and this three and press the load button when you press the load button then again the symmetric process interface will be open you see press load and symmetry process interface value open here we want to restore the program so we have to be select the desired program where we have stored our uploaded program so we go to the browse option 3.8 click and go to the reserve is a program that we already uploaded and select this and press the open Button have you seen our program is open and showing all the information of this HDMI model number email version operating system configurator setting all that is open when we press the start register button it will be list 3C is the start restore you see it is communicate with this SMI and our program is restoring from laptop to SMI you can do this it is a three step one of three that means this job will be completed within the three step it is one step is going on two step is a composition with a short time but 1 and 30 will take some time you can when you can do done this restore function if we buy a new SMI then we can use this our upload it is image a program to download to the new SMI so we can restore this program another if you happen our running ASMR have any problem that we cannot do anything or program is ads or have happiness trouble or we have had if we have the forget the user add your password then we can use our backup program to download the SMI if we download the backup program in the or only semi then if you have any problem uh in the user add your password then you can use the before using either password you can retract so you see a program is destroying or downloading to the SMI it is a two-step already completed and three step is going on and this step will take some time because our program firmware operating system settings all address downloading to the SMI so for uploading and transfer is successfully completed you see in our Tia portal allowing the laptop screen is showing transfer successfully complete but you see the AC my side is key erasing the flash that means our program is erasing you see copying The Flash and new Flash is coughing and the SML will be restarted register the main our program will be started successfully you see property starting is showing the
