How To Trim Your Beard Cheek Line

alright guys today I'm going to show you how to trim the cheek line on your beard using a regular razor now that's all I use I don't use any kind of contraptions highfalutin I suppose there might be something out there that I would think was helpful but I just don't care to spend my money that way when I'm doing a sufficient and adequate job with what I've got and so um without you having to go out go out there and spend more money I'm gonna show you how to be the same thing you can tell me what the results are if you liked it or not you guys have done quite well letting me know what you thought about how to trim the v-shaped beard obviously I don't have that anymore but let me know what you think I hope the lighting in this video is sufficient I have a hard time in this house getting good lighting I don't have a great device to work with but nevertheless here's what I do to trim my cheek line using a regular razor now this razor in my last some of my previous videos I used a Gillette razor I actually picked up this Harry's razor from Target and I liked it a lot it has a it to me it it has a greater feel to it it's it's it glides across my skin a lot better I'm not getting paid by Harry's to say that they don't even know I'm making this video of mentioning their name maybe I should check into that but nevertheless that's what I've been using myself for quite a while now and I really like it a lot so in case anybody wants to know now here's how I here's how I do this I actually use the length the length of my razor to determine where you know just just how far down this line is going to be on the top of my moustache down from my nose I use that length now you don't have to do it that way some guys beards grow different or they just want a different look but this is just how I do it I use the length of my razor to determine that what I do is and I'm gonna use only water when I do this because I'm not covering in great area and I want you to be able to see what I'm doing without to try to peer through through any kind of product I put on my face but nevertheless with a little bit of water I still say I'll put it on my cheek right here it's about time for me to do this anyway I need to shave my head - so it's wet and what I'll do is I'll take this and I want this this end of my razor right here to go right next to my nose right here and so this right here will tell me how far down this line is going to be so it's right here I just I just hit the top of the mustache I don't actually dig into the mustache I just go down to the to the mustache okay that's all I do is go right there if they about you know three four times okay then I turn it around I turn it around like this I hope you guys gonna see this okay I turn like this put this by my nose just like this and now now you can see how how far down it is what I'm going to do is you can do one of two things if you're just starting off you don't feel confident you can take your hand as I showed in a previous video and you can put your hand like this right here use your finger as a guideline point it to the middle of your ear a word you might want to hire you might lend up here you might want it down here but wherever you want it you want to be consistent you want to do the same way on both sides of the the face so you can you can put that right here and you can use your finger as a guideline to go up all right you can do that on the other side too and you shaved down here to get the width of the cheek line from nose and top a mustache to a beer line then put your finger here at the bottom point to the middle of the ear or wherever it is you want it and go up like that and then you can shave up now I no longer do that because I don't need to do I've been doing it for a while if you don't use your fingers a guideline you can simply put your razor right here at the top of the moustache right beside your nose and and then just stroke upwards like this just to get that part do that two or three times all right you got your line I got my line over here and this way when you got your line right here I'm going toward the middle of my ear now the trick is what do you do the sideburns that's that's what's gonna come up next what do you do the sideburns now you may there's different cyber and styles you can continue to go straight up until you go back and that will give your sideburns a more pointed look I do that from time to time or you can do it where you just have a curved look or you can do it where you go up and it goes straight up but I just do whatever I feel all the time the sideburns grow back pretty quick so if you do something don't like you don't have to wait very long to to change it you put this right here you can go up and I want clearance between my eyebrow the corner of my eyebrow and my sideburns and this length right here fits just fine in between that I go up and I go back like that so it's kind of somewhere between a curve and a straight line straight line sigh burn over here I make it fit in between the eyebrow corner of the eyebrow and the cyber and now I've got it and I'm just go back shave against the grain voila I've got my beard line and that's why I do all the time and it works for me it will probably work for you you can let me know what the results are you know make sure you're putting stuff in your beard on a consistent basis I mentioned that because a lot of guys don't use anything don't use come in cut beard oils or beard bombs but you want to make sure you treat the area that you've shaved with some kind of oil or some kind of a skin conditioner and you know you can touch that up a couple times a week and you're gonna look good your beard blinds me look good and then afterwards put stuff in your beard because your beard will have been wet it's a good time that the oil in it look in the description below and you'll find out we can get good beard products at a discounted rate using a promo code over there so check it out I hope this has helped and that's what the beard mine looks like that's how I do it give it a try catch you guys in the next one bye
