let's have a look at how to tie the diamond knot I'm using about 80 centimeters of paracord to tie this knot today and I've just located at the center of the paracord and I'm going to throw that loop over my middle finger on my left hand and then I want to take this free strand here on the right hand side form an overhand loop and then pinch where it crosses and then just rotate it away from me under 90 degrees I should look like that and I want to pass it over this strand here now if I reached through that loop I can pull up this strand and form another loop just like that then I want to take the left hand strand underneath it right locate the working end and then straight through that loop I pulled the slack through should find that you get a carrot Bend and then this loop down the bottom now what we want to do is we want to wrap these free ends around and then through that Center Dimond I'll show you what I mean I don't just want to take the left-hand strand first right around underneath the other strand and then up through the center pull through and the same with the other strand right around and then up through the center of the knot and pull that through and then to finish the knot I just want to hold on to these friends and this top loop and pull and there you should have you finished Diamond knot there might be a bit of slack to work through but that's basically you've finished knot
