are you dying a lot in still past and you cannot understand how every time you mod your weapons or frames you just go in and get clapped well my good tenor in this video I'm going to be showing you how to survive and still pass and what mods and tools that you need to comfortably kill everything in Warframe let's get straight into the video firstly this is a video for those of you who are just getting into steel party maybe some of you who have had still pass for a while but just don't feel like you're strong enough yet so in this video I will assume that you will have the basic knowledge of modding and how to mod your frames and weapons so the first concept I want to talk about here is the frames themselves that you are using in Warframe each frame has pretty much a similar framework to an extent depending on the role of the frame each frame generally has some degree of damage mitigation whether that being damage reduction ability invisibility which is arguably the best defense in Warframe damage reflection health regen or increased Health these are just a few examples there are others but you get the idea to some degree each frame has one ability that reduces your incoming damage now my point is is that depending on the frame you play depends on your survivability a lot in steel pot well duh especially if you are playing solo but in public lobbies you have more leeway for example if you play Revenant well you pretty much won't die because of your second ability which is Mesmer charges which quite literally makes you almost Invincible Chambers measures warding Halo same as rhino skin same as wukong's defiability and his passives etc etc there are many more examples these are just a few these are very tanky frames and if you play those frames you will find that your survivability will not be a problem of course with the right builds Explore More frames and options and look around for frames that have good damage mitigation abilities pretty much every frame in Warframe can do still path with the right build so don't just go for these frames that I've just mentioned as examples play whatever frame you like these are just basic suggestions off the top of my head hit that like button like container it rarely supports me thank you moving on to another mechanic which is something I want to go over before I go over modding so that it makes a lot of sense to you and that is Shield gating Shield gating works as follows when your Shields are broken you gain 1.3 seconds of invulnerability now this happens every time after a short cooldown if the shield is still in the process of recharging after the gate has been activated the gates will only last for 0.33 seconds so in simple terms that means if your Shields are still replenishing meaning not full Shields and your Shields break again you only get 0.33 seconds of invulnerability if your Shields are full and they're fully replenished or you get over Shields you then get the 1.3 seconds of invulnerability time frame's abilities do increase the duration like elgin's Haven ability as well as Proteus Shield grenades they increase the duration to 3 seconds of invulnerability now the way to utilize this mechanic is as follows by using mods like briefs with spikes or organ mods you can make use of Shield gating probably one of the best defense mechanics in Warframe it makes you nearly invulnerable so for sure getting to work you use those mind ads or you have a frame with an ability to regain your Shields and then you just Spam abilities and you will gain Shield per ability cost thus Shield gating you can utilize this mechanic even further by using the decaying Dragon key to lower your total Shield so you get to over Shields easier because you have less total Shields to get to overshield thus giving you the full 1.3 seconds of invulnerability easier Shield gating solves a lot of your survivability issues moving on to mods and let's start with the frames firstly the most important mods hands down are the character mods karate mods obtained from the dragon vaults in the demo sector I have made a video on farmers and by the time you've hit steel path you should have a few of these mods if you really don't know what these mods are these mods have a positive and a negative these Warframe mods are arguably the most important because literally every build makes use of these corrupted mods I'm not going to mention modular continuity flow etc etc because those mods you will obtain as you get to steal pass although getting primes flow and Prime costume Community is very important but those are obtained to barakatia or just buying it from another player you then want to get two mods which are used in pretty much all builds in steel path which is adaptation and rolling God both mods which are obtained from arbitrations which you unlock as you get still pass these two mods are the go-to defensive layers in steel path builds adaptation provides damage resistance to each status effect type up to 90 for 20 seconds at Max rank rolling guard is on Dodge you remove all status effects and become invulnerable for 3 seconds this mod has a 7 second cooldown this one is the go-to person I pretty much use it for all of my builds unless the frame has an ability that already moves status effects and so on then I would use adaptation but the three seconds in vulnerability is really strong some balls utilize the three umbral mods but very few do however umbrell intensify is a go-to for the majority of builds too then for shield gating like I mentioned earlier you use despite all auger mods like August Secrets Orca reach and so on and so on like I explained earlier these mods converts a percentage of your energy to Shields when you cast your ability now when it comes to actually modding your frames it's simple build your frames how you want to but build them with at least rolling guard or adaptation then build your frames for the damage reduction ability that they have in any way whether it's invisibility so it's more duration or if it's a damage reduction ability that requires more strength now let's say you've built your bold however you want to build it there's many ways to play Warframe it's not one set way if you feel the frame is still squishy then put on booster spite in the aura or an orgo mod in your build and boom you have an extra layer of Defense pretty much that simple the next thing I want to talk about is subsuming abilities onto your frames by now you should know what the Hellman segment is and how to subsume your frames so here are some abilities that I would suggest eclipse for just pure flat damage to kill your enemies faster Gloom painful to get Cyber Gods but the subsume literally just make steel path a joke in terms of survivability and armor stripping ability like terrify and other underrated ability which can be used for ceasing enemies is banshee's silence subsume a very decent ceasing ability but not as good as Gloom and then of course raw ozarka's whisper which are multiplicative damage boosts select these abilities onto a frame and still pass will be a joke and of course you can build for the helmet abilities too now that's frames pretty much sorted out for survivability it's literally just those three steps if you put a whole bunch of these defensive layers you will be good to go in Warframe now let's move on to something else which is companions now companions are extremely important in Warframe the two best companions you can have hands down are the Smita kovats and the Panzer volperfila among many other benefits that companions actually give to you companions actually keep you alive more than you think and I know it seems like it's pretty self-explanatory but simply for mods like fetch or vacuum which suck in loot from a distance which you may think oh no that's just quality of life no that saves you a lot what's the rate of gathering means more health and energy orbs means more ability cost means more surviving this is the Smita build that I run I have made a full in-depth guide on both of these companions this is the Panther build here the Panthers amazing because it literally just doesn't die ever it keeps respawning also done a full guide in this so check that out in the cards in the top right now let's move on to weapons and the mods that are required for weapons firstly the most important mods that you can get for steel parts are the galvanized mods also obtained through doing arbitrations these mods give you a huge damage boost so Farm up your galvanized mods then Farm your 6060 mods which are mods that have 60 of an element and 60 status chance slowly build up your Prime mods collection I would personally start with the elemental primes mods like primed cry around primed heater charge etc etc because they give you huge damage boost some weapon suggestions I would give that are pretty cheap to get this is just a few this is not the best ones this is just examples of pretty good weapons is the sedo the natural Rook the phantasma the cuva new core the null Prime laser kit gun the Serato for Corpus enemies thesaurus and the guandal prime these are just a couple suggestions there's many more weapons that you can use I just thrown in a few there as different ones that you can try that are actually pretty good now I quickly want to go over another mechanic which is rarely useful in Warframe and that is making use of priming and the way you go about priming is using condition overload type mods like condition overload and galvanized Savvy galvanized aptitude and galvanized shot and pairing these mods with a primer priming is one of my favorite mechanics in Warframe lately basically you use a weapon that has super high status chance and you apply a whole bunch of status effects at once on enemies and do more damage because of these mods as you can see the more status effects are applied the more damage that you do Rayleigh is amazing and makes steel past enemies a joke whether you're using Malay secondary or primary for this it's really amazing I would suggest using the Epitaph for this or the couver new core these are the builds here or you can use the cedar as well with the ultimate fire glaive that also is a really good primer all you do is just Prime the enemies before shoot them or Malay them let's just quickly talk about armor stripping and how important it is when fighting grenade enemies in still past grenade enemies are a lot tougher because of their armor and larger Health pools so if you use an armor stripping ability whether that's a frame that you're currently playing with an army shipping ability or a Hellman subsume it literally makes steel path a joke and will shred Grenier enemies it is one of the best ways to kill enemies and it's always used in steel parts especially endurance runs and level cap having a way to armor strip when it comes to greniere enemies is so important you must have it now just some general tips and tricks move literally just keep moving Dodge bullet jump ball jump anything just to keep moving and another thing my biggest pet peeve in this game is not having enough energy other than being knocked down all the time it's not having energy I hate it so for me I prefer quality of life and I would much rather have too much energy sustain than struggling for it so use efficiency mods or mods like equilibrium with synth fiber on your Smith or Panzer or you can get Arcane energized to sustain your energy and cause your abilities and just be comfortable that's my play style it may not be yours that's fine that's fine you choose it's your game invisibility is the best defense in Warframe and on the flip side killing your enemies before they see you is the best defense which comes from using strong weapons with the right builds with the right elements for the right factions and subsumes like eclipse and raw for example another thing is getting operator arcanes like magaz lockdown as a panic to CC your enemies or getting Magus repaired to heal yourself when you're about to die think of it as like an oh button that's basically what Magus repairs and that's pretty much it it's a lot I know but this is how to survive and steal a part and in this guide I've pretty much spoke about all the tools that you need to survive and how to utilize them properly and all the defensive layers that are required to basically run steel path have to be and that's the video let me know in the comments below if you guys want me to make a video on how to actually mod and make builds for beginners I can do that too thanks for watching don't forget to like and sub and I'll see you all in the next one [Music] thank you
