alright ladies and gentlemen we're gonna do a start of the King Air c90 so this is how we're gonna start it make sure the power levers are in idle we're gonna take the prop levers move them forward and both the fuel cut offs conditioned levers are and fuel cutoff currently all right so I'm gonna have the checklist here for you you can follow along make sure that we're doing it all right so here's an engine start checklist kind of follow along with me and then watch kind of how I'm doing it as well alright okay okay so the important numbers to pull out from this here are the right condition lever or the condition levers we're looking for n1 of 12% then we're making sure the Itt does not exceed 1090 and then we're looking to get the starter off at 51% and one okay so we'll make sure that our feet are on the brakes we're all set that way we're gonna come over here and underneath of this bar we call this the bar alright there's a switch for the battery so we turn the battery switch on we check volts make sure that we're good that way then we're gonna come over here and rest our hand by the right ignition engine starts which we're gonna check here make sure it's clear check and make sure it's clear over there alright and then we're gonna go ahead and engage this to start so if we had a line guy out there we'd put our two up like this and we would make a motion like this that means we're starting engine 2 which is our right engine out there so we're gonna go ahead and put the starter up so we're coming up the air to the n1 and we're gonna look for 12% once we get 12% we're gonna introduce fuel alright we're gonna keep our hand here by the fuel because in case the Itt starts to exceeding the limitation which is 1080 then we're gonna cut the fuel will continue motoring until the engine starts to cool cool and then we'll completely shut it down so we're watching there the next thing we're looking for is 51% we have 51% we're gonna discing the right starter let it spool up we're just waiting for it to stabilize once it stabilizes we're gonna bring the Gen 2 on it's the switch all the way on the right underneath the bar we turn that and then we're gonna bring these the high idle so high idle on the right engine okay now that we've got this to haidle we're gonna go ahead and do a left engine start so engine one start our hand comes down here we turn on the starter there were once again waiting for the 12% we have 12% we're gonna introduce fuel keeping our hand resting here because we're watching ITT if it exceeds a limitation of 1080 we're gonna cut the fuel yes now what we're waiting for 51% on the n1 we have 51% we're gonna go ahead and disengage the starter will bring the gen one on all right after we do that we can bring the inverter on the avionics ah we can go ahead and get our go in there for air conditioning at media the grindingly and then now that we're all set that way we can bring these two back to the Lydell everything stabilized we check over that go back over check over our bolts make sure that all of our energy gauges are in the green and that is a good start on engine 1 and engine 2 of the king air 890
