The Empress of Light in Daytime is generally
seen as one of, if not the most difficult boss in the game, with its fast speed and
no hit requirement. But, of course, since the Terraprisma is locked
behind its grasp, most players will, at some point, consider going after it - often after
the Moon Lord is defeated, where endgame gear gives you an insane advantage in the fight. It's something of a completionist trophy. But, the Terraprisma, despite being the most
powerful summoning weapon in the game, is also technically post-Plantera. So, in the event you do want a Terraprisma
during standard game progression and not as a keepsake, let me show you a kit and a strat
that is extremely affective against this particular boss. This strategy encompasses one strategy in
particular - maximum damage. You should be running a maximum damage setup
like this, with every accessory filled. If you're on Expert, remove the Berserker's
Glove, and if you're on Normal, remove the Pygmy Necklace or Avenger Emblem. Everything is on Menacing. In lieu of wings or a dash, you should use
the Witch's Broom. It may seem sluggish but it is actually more
than agile enough for the fight, and you may actually grow to like the more fine-grained
control it gives over your movement instead of a dash. Your whip should be the Kaleidoscope, obviously. If you can, whip stack with the Dark Harvest
and Morning Star if possible, though for all clips I show in this video, I won't be whip
stacking since I want to show what you can do even with only C-tier skills (like me). I recommend Tiki Armor for its massive boost
whip range too, though you can use Spooky. Your weapon will be the Xeno Staff, acquired
from the Martian Madness post-Golem. Sorry post-Plantera Empress lovers, but the
Xeno is just such a massive jump from any pre-Golem option that we are basically forced
to use it if we want an easy fight. If you hate the Martian Madness, know that
the Stardust Cell Staff will also work basically the same as Xeno Staff. Ok then, now let's fight it. Hop on your mount, bewitch, buff up with only
the applicable buffs, and get ready. Summon her aboveground in an area with a large,
open sky, since this will be our arena. Make sure it's clear, since it will be life
and death with Living Trees. Start by moving up to clear the ground, and
she should go with you. She'll fire Prismatic Bolts, which home in
on you. Unfortunately for them though, by simply changing
directions slightly toward the end, they should just all miss. During Sun Dance, you should try and squeeze
in between the rays to get in some extra damage. You will be dealing crazy DPS right now, so
make this opportunity count. Once she releases her Everlasting Rainbow,
just move right to clear both following attacks. Remember the slight turn thing for Bolts in
this case is incredibly important. In Phase 2, run away perpendicular to the
lances like this - something you should already be used to from normal empress fights. For this attack, just circle around like this
and you should avoid the attack. But, make sure to not be going up when exiting
the circular dodge, or this Everlasting Rainbow will gank 'ya. And, now, if you didn't blink, the Empress
should be dead. Yes, dead. Even without hypersweating or whip stacking,
we killed Master Mode Empress in 35 seconds! It's no sweaty combo whip stacking 20s kill,
but it's very respectable. The benefit of attempts this quick is that
they're easier (since there is less room for error), they are more predictable (since you
will get used to the attack pattern), and they take very little time. You can easily do like 10+ fights in a day
if you're fast. Whatever you do though, go and get that Terraprisma. Summoner is a very fun class, and you should
definitely give it a try, no matter the boss difficulty. Hello! If you enjoy my content and haven't subscribed,
I ask you to do so, as only about a quarter of you are. If you want to learn about whip stacking,
here's my 100-seconds on it. Either way though, thank you for watching,
and good day and good bye.
