How To Set Up FBT With A Quest 2 #HowToVR Guide

hi welcome to the KNX laabs YouTube channel today I'll be showing you how to set up your quest to with full body you're going to be needing four things the headset a pcvr capable computer The Trackers and of course your base stations now assuming that you already have steam VR and your base station set up the only additional thing that you will need is open VR space calibrator I have it linked in the description of this video so go ahead and download OVR space c run the setup exe file and follow through the steps instructed now that you have that downloaded you won't be needing this anymore and let's hop into steam VR okay now that you're in Steam VR you're going to make sure that both your dongles for your trackers are plugged in as well as your base station turned on now take the tracker from from one of your feet turn it on and it should automatically pair if it doesn't and it stays Blue what you're going to have to do is go to steamvr devices pair controller HCC V tracker now hold down the button for a few seconds and then let go the tracker should be flashing blue and automatically pair now that it's paired you'll see the Bas stations turned on and the tracker is active now the next step is to put the tracker onto your hand like this then find the space cow button it'll look like that find your right controller the one Vive tracker and Press Start calibration and move your hand in a figure eight just like this now once that done you'll notice that it is completely the same they're all synced up now what you need to do is pair the other two trackers once all three are turned on and paired you should be able to see all three in Steam VR so go ahead and put your right foot back on and there you go ready for full body I'm going to show the most common use case of these trackers VR chat the first thing I always recommend doing is opening a radio menu going to options personal mirror settings and turning on calibration mirror now all you have to do is open up your hand menu press calibrate fbt look down make sure that the Spheres are lined up with your feet look up make eyon contact with the Avatar and press both triggers and now lo and behold you have full body fully functional in VR chat enjoy
