How to send Automatic Birthday / Anniversary Email to Employees using Power Automate (MS Flow)

welcome back to channel everyone in this video i'm going to talk about how you can send automatic birthday and anniversary email to user in your organization this is my employee data list which i've created as you can see this is the person in group field i have created and this is date time column i have created for date of birth you can create for anniversary as well if you want to perform this for the anniversary one but i'm right now taking the example of date work day of birth for anniversary it will be the same as update of birth so you can replicate in case you need this ones for the anniversary one so let's just talk about how we can do that i'll go in my power automate schedule now i'll name my flow as in birthday note run this flow this is the date i have selected from today and repeat it every day click on create next step i'm going to perform is get items from sharepoint basically wants to get all of the item in this particular sharepoint list and select my site address where the list exists dev site list name is employee data that's all next step i'll pick control apply to each get item value and i'll write a compose step here to actually get the current date and time so it will be like format date time so i'm writing uh format date time is because i need month end date only not the year i required write utc now it will get current date time and then month hyphen dd and this mm will be in the caps and dd will be small this is done so next step i'm gonna perform is control condition check if get item date of birth contains our compose output that means uh if the date of birth is 11th of august and it contains 11 hyphenate basically the flow returns the output in that way so once it succeed an email will be sent out to that particular user so i will write send email to so it will be a dynamic content i want to send email to this employee name employee name email and subject will be like happy birthday again it will be employee name display name and here i'm gonna write hi employee name display name wish you a very happy birthday regards hr team or anything you want to say so this is the one thing if you want to add an image here so what you can do is you can host any of the images in your document library like i have done this into my document library but that's actually have a limitation here i have created another video on this particular one you can check that out i'll provide link in description so i'll be picking this cdn image and i can write a html image tag here img src and in case you want to provide width i will provide width as in 500 and height is equal to 500 that's all and in case this failed i'm not going to send any email so once this is closed we'll save this one we'll test this out birthday note run this one floor end successfully condition true email sent as you can see it's saying happy birthday and this is the image which i want so both the user will get an email because both the user has date of birth as in today's date so i'll check with another user so as you can see that guy also received that email mentioning his name here right so that's the way you can send you know birthday and anniversary email to user who has birthday and anniversary following today's date and i hope you like this video if you do like don't forget to subscribe learn tech thank you so much for watching
