How To Scan Document On iPhone And Save As PDF

Let's scan a document on your iPhone and then save it as a PDF now if you have a certain document maybe something that you signed a contract at least just an important document that you wanted to scan using your iPhone and then save it as a PDF email it text it whatever you want I'm going to show you all those steps the first thing that we'll do is we'll open up the notes app on your iPhone so it's a built-in app if you don't already have it just go to the App Store and download it so let's open up notes here and we're going to tap the little pencil and paper at the bottom right now on here we have a new note and we'll scan the document into this note let's tap the camera icon here and hit scan documents now it'll pop up with the camera and the cool thing is is it will automatically detect any kind of documents and then once you're done you can hit save at the bottom right so basically it will detect that document it will automatically take a picture of it it will crop exactly around that document as if it were a scanned document now basically this is in notes but if we want to save this as a PDF all we have to do is just tap on it and it pops up with basically just that image within the note we can hit share at the top right and you can see now it is a PDF document so at the top left it has PDF so it defaults to a PDF document and now you can do whatever you want with it you can hit save to files if you want to save it to your basically downloads file on your iPhone your iCloud drive any of those things you just hit save and replace another thing you can do is just hit that share button and then hit mail and it'll pop up with the ability to basically email that PDF document you can email it to yourself so you can access it on your computer you can email it to whoever else that you want let's hit cancel and delete and of course you can text it you can print it immediately from that PDF over to your printer anything like that hope this helps you have any questions on that loom in the document in comments down below and I'll catch you on the next one
