How to remove hail damage | Dent lifter Glue pull Dent tools

what's up everybody welcome to elevation net company in today's video we're going to be doing some health damage repair here we have a 2021 kia stilettos that got hit in a nasty hail storm let's take a look at the damage and see what we got here check out all the dents on top of this roof it is absolutely destroyed there's got to be over 700 to a thousand dents up here and the front of the roof is just as bad as the back part here's a look at the damage going down the side of the rail panels both sides are equally as bad not only does this vehicle have severe damage up top it also hit the quarter panels the doors the fenders and the hood as well on both sides we're not gonna be fixing this entire vehicle inside this video because it would just take too long what we are gonna be doing is the roof and the rail panels as you can see i've already got the hatch taken off the car i've already removed the tail lamp so we got access i've got the headliner dropped already it's just resting on the seats i've got the hood pad dropped the hood is ready to come off the car and be set up on the stand to fix all the dents on it as well so to fix this roof i'm going to use this five foot dent hog and the tip of this tool has two interchangeable tips one's a really soft tip the other side is super sharp i'll pull the block of the metal up with that soft tip then i'm gonna do the final touches with that sharp tip on every single dent for all the dents underneath the braces i'm gonna use large whale tails and i have a series of short handheld ones as well take a look at the inside of the roof skin how hard that hell drove this metal in these handheld well tails are going to be used to slide up underneath the braces where i cannot get access and i'm going to be using a twisting motion like this i'm going to take a gutter hook tool on a position in the back part of this gutter and this is gonna move all the way through the back side of this while i work from one end all the way to the next then i'm gonna take my dent hog i'm gonna shove it directly through that hook and this right here is gonna be my main leverage point so i'm gonna stand on this stool and i'm gonna work as much of these dents as i possibly can out from the back side staring into my light from that direction then once i do that i'm gonna then come in from the side and i'm gonna hang hooks inside these doors and work it from the side now when you're working extreme damage like this it's a mental game you can't sit and focus on all the damage you just gotta do one din at a time [Music] so [Music] now that i have a great deal of that metal worked out from the back side i'm going to take my light and i'm going to move it to the other side of the roof panel [Music] and i'm gonna use that same dent hog that i was using on the back i'm gonna shove it right inside this window frame and i'm gonna let it rest right here on this hook and this strap right here is what i'm gonna use for leverage i'm gonna repeat the exact same process on the sides that i was doing on the back [Music] all right guys with the roof done now we're going to move on to the left side roof rail and as you can see it's got a million some dents on it just like the roof was so in a roof rail like this we have to do a glue pull method and what i like to do with this many dents is use several different tabs at one time i'm going to be using dent out quick setting glue and a cordless glue gun and my mini lifter [Music] so [Music] when you have extreme damage like this glue pulling can be a very time consuming process we usually use a small amount of glue on a glue tap and place it directly in the center of that dent from that point we'll use a mini lifter or a slide hammer we'll apply some pressure on that tab slowly bringing the dent up once we get the dent up it's now in a reverse position so it's no longer low anymore it's now high from that point we'll use hammers and knock downs to come in and flatten this metal out and then we'll blend the entire panel to make it look even now we just repeat that same process over and over again throughout the entire panel [Music] i went ahead and took the hood off the car i got it placed up on a stand that's used for doing paintless dent repair now i'm gonna come in here and i'm gonna take all these little dents out even though this hood has a lot of dents in it it's gonna make for a pretty quick repair reason is because this panel is really exposed we have all these access holes in through here we have all these holes up in the front those are all access points where we can shove tools through so we have a lot of these wide open sections gonna help out a lot when we come in with our pbr tools i'm gonna be using several different tools to fix this hood i'm gonna be using smaller hand tools to come in through access points such as this right here i'm gonna be using a whale tails to shove up underneath braces such as this right here for all my wide open spots i'm gonna take an s hook i'm gonna find a hole then i'll be using a large paintless dent repair rod with an interchangeable sharp tip i'm gonna start out first with the rod get as much as i can done with this and then i'll switch on onto the smaller tools so i'll just take this shove it right up through the hook from this point i'm ready to work [Music] so [Music] so [Music]
