How to remove backgrounds from images using Inkscape

what's up everyone it's your boy gulley and today i will be showing you how to remove backgrounds from images I know many of you just like myself have received images or logos from potential customers they do not have a PNG file or does not have a vector file so in this video I will be taking you through the step-by-step process on how to remove a background using Inkscape right after this [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right I already have my image pulled up so I want to scale this down all the way when I scale this down and before you scale it down you want to go up to the top so where you see a lock right here you want to press that and what that does is it lets you scale it down evenly because if you don't get a go every which way give you an example this is what happens if you don't hit that lot when you're trying to scale it down all right so go over get my image back to how it was want to press that luck now we're going to scale it down see how that scales down evenly alright bring this back to the center and what we're gonna do is we're gonna go up here to path wanna click path I'm gonna scroll down to trace bitmap will hit trace bitmap you'll see your window come up and you're gonna leave your thresholds the same brightness cutoff and what we're gonna do is click remove background you'll press update and now to show what your image will look like press ok and now when we remove this you see we have removed the background this little window off all right and that's pretty much it to remove the background is not a extreme Lluis process to remove the background is so simple just go to path trace bitmap and just press remove background now if you want this to be individual colors you'll select it you go back to path and you're press break apart and I will show you that it it broke it broke everything down into its own section you remove the back you just click on it and press what color you want it to be for the individual section and so forth and so forth it's really easy nothing to it just a few quick steps and you're good to go has some quick colors or ever your customer wants it and just something quick is simple you know and what I would like to do is if it's something that's just gonna be a logo I'll select the whole thing go to object group go over to filters and this is where you can do a lot of your filters for your logo design I like to sharpen the image go to bevels let's try a jigsaw piece all right put this background back on now you have it something so easy to do anybody can do it alright so that was my quick tutorial on how to remove backgrounds from images using Inkscape and if you like this video and want to see more videos just like this one make sure you uh heat press that subscribe button nah but seriously subscribe to the channel hit that notification bill so you can be notified for anytime we upload videos and I know that this video right here is pretty short but it's straight to the point very basic you know Inkscape is free i know a lot of people like to use photoshop as well as Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw CorelDraw if I'm saying that right just let me know in the comments below from saying it wrong oh well I'm saying it wrong with anyways thanks for watching this video is sticking around let me know in the comments how you feel about this video whether you like it or didn't like it is there anything that you would like to see from this channel let us know down below and until next time keep grinding keep hustling peace [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]
