hey guys J here so today I got a part of a spring cleanup I guess what I'm gonna do today is I'm gonna take down our cut flush I'll show you let me rephrase that show you how to cut a stump so you don't see it anymore one thing about trees and firewood when that is stumps some straw is an issue it costs the most money to have stumps removed heavy equipment they have expensive cutting teeth and yada yada yada yada but if you're just like a homeowner like me and you want to give a couple stumps in your yard that you want to get rid of you don't want to see anymore let me show you what to do without trying to pull it out I've seen so many people try to you know rip bumpers off of their trucks and twist this twist that trying to get any things out you don't have equipment you just have a saw and a couple hand tools I'll show you what to do so hang around and check it out [Music] the first thing you want to do is clean up the area I dug this out before the wintertime just so the water and everything can get in there and hopefully and I made some cuts around it to not girl it but basically accelerate the dyeing process but now that's actually didn't get to it before the snowfall so I set out whatever it's not doing anything it's not hurting anybody so now I'm gonna take care of it so what you want to do is you want to pull everything you can away from it so you can get as low as you can with the saw [Music] one thing you got to pay attention to is how you're gonna hold the saw the stumps leaning towards us so I want to cut on the opposite side I have a wedge just in case but I want to cut on the opposite side and work my way this way so I'm gonna clear a little bit farther back the grass here for the power head of the saw to sit in so I can get a real nice low cut so let's do that next that seems pretty good let's fire it up and let's cut the stump [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] there's one more thing you can do to the actual what's left of the stuff now to facilitate the dyeing of it one thing you can do is take your saw and bore into it they got bore cut into it one direction and then that make like a cross if you will in that way that I'll water and everything will help get down there and decay the stump [Applause] [Music] now what that does is it allows moisture bugs water oh that's such a stuff to get in there and help the K+ is right by the center of it so let's go ahead rake it all back like it never happened [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] what was once is now gone and like I said it's a spring now so it's still wet see all the snow and everything but I want to get a head start on it now let all that saw water and everything get down in there alright well thanks for watching guys please like and subscribe I got multiple other video is kind of like a little bit of a series but I kind of jump around but thanks for watching I appreciate it and any tips or tricks or comments feel free like I said uh been here on the homestead for two years so I'm still learning with everything but we learn as we go but that looks pretty good to me so thanks for watching guys and we'll see you we'll see you next time [Music]
